Chapter 1: Munching a Pumpkin

Malie returned for Halloween. "It's now fall season, which costume are you wearing?" asked Malie. Mase was about to make an answer until his jaws were in shock! Malie was eating delicious pumpkin pie!

"If you're hungry enough, then go ahead and eat your pumpkin pie. It's not made out of pumpkin," said Malie. 

As Mase finally his plate, Mase was again, filled with shock! "That sure was disappointing what other foods do have pumpkin?" Mase replied with this sentence. "Pumpkin soup, pumpkin bread, pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin risotto, pumpkin puree, pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin curry, and pumpkin pancakes! There are a zillion foods, not just pumpkin pie. I think we should have 3 days to discover and go deep into foods with our submarine!" Malie suggested.

Mase's eyes widened with eagerness. He'd accept the offering.

Mase almost jumped next to the Sun. Then he landed, almost crushing Malie! "Mase, you almost squashed me!" joked Malie. Mase laughed at the comedy. Mase went home waiting for the exciting opportunity. The next day it was time for the next splendid experience! 

Chapter 2: Pumpkin Puree  "Today's food is pumpkin puree. Made sometimes for other foods. After we're done, we dig in, literally!" Malie happily exclaimed! "I'll use this small pie pumpkin, Malie since you're the adult you should cut it in half! Don't cut through the stem, though!" Mase insisted Malie. Malie cut the pumpkin and took out the gross insides. "Mase, my feathers feel green!".  "You are green!" said Mase. "Well, you take out the insides instead!"

" We need to put this in an oven, or a stove! But none of the mittens can be helpful for my size, so you put them in, and I'll set the time!" Malie instructed. Mase carefully put the half in the oven, as Malie set the time. They waited until the oven beeped three times. BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! The food was ready. The squishy orange parts were microwaved, and ready to be mixed with a special machine. Malie's man-made ( or bird-made) machine! The Malie-Wing Mixer! A machine that mixes the food as fast as hummingbirds can flap their wings!

"I never really  used this thing since the beginning of the 21st century!" Malie said. He put the pumpkin in the machine's special yellow compartment. The machine was turned on and spun around. The machine was fast and very messy! The machine was spinning, jumping, splattering, bouncing, spluttering, creating an absolute mess!

The mess ended and almost caught on fire. "Better get a fire extinguisher," thought Mase. Malie sprayed the fire extinguisher. "The puree incident sure is messy!" Mase said coughing from the smoke. "I think it is time to travel inside," said Malie.

The inside was goopy. "What an interesting texture!" Malie pointed out. The submarine was getting covered in the squishy substance. "Malie, we should've put windshield wipers," cried Mase as it was getting more covered. Some wipers cleaned out the messy gloopiness. They continued the adventure. By the evening they reached the bottom of the bowl of puree. Mase felt like putting on his Suit of Cores and bouncing on the interior. He put it on, and boy did he have fun. He slipped on the glass many times. Once his energy ran low, they tried swimming out, as Malie drove the sub up.

Chapter 3: Ready for Bread-ie!

"Time to make pumpkin bread!  Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ground ginger, and an exceptional ingredient nutmeg. Now time for the wet ingredients including vegetable oil and sugar. Brown sugar shall be added too. Along with milk. Now the remaining pumpkin puree!" Malie told Mase. Mase obeyed his pal and added all of those ingredients and mixed them in a bowl!

"Piffle alfo add pumpkin pie too!" said Malie with his mouth with food. "I'd rather try with pumpkin than without," Mase said. "Pumpkin bread will have pumpkin whereas pumpkin pie does not,".
