Hello I am Uncle Toad of Uncle Toad's Honey.

 This is the story of how I became Uncle Toad.

 In order to tell the story we must go way back to my grandfather, because that is where the story begins. I was named after him.

  My grandfather was born in a small Native American village on a warm spring day.

  On that day the village Chief was standing in the village looking down at a toad that was looking up at him and seemed to be saying follow me.

  The toad hopped away into the forest and the Chieftain followed.

  They traveled a short ways and the toad hopped into a small pond and up on a Lilly pad.

Where he was facing the other side of the pond as if to say look there. 

The Chief looked across the pond and there he saw a large brown bear, clawing at a tree.

 He saw the bees around the bear trying to get it to leave the honey alone. 

   You see this was the tree, that had the Bee hive, that the village got their honey from.

  The Chief watched as one by one the bees buzzed the bear but he would not leave.
