Today was a very special day for Luna; it was her first day of 5th grade! She was very excited. She got up as soon as her alarm went off and went to her dresser to get dressed.

Luna put on her best new clothes-she wanted to look nice for her first day- and got her shoes and socks on. Then, she went downstairs to get some breakfast. She was so excited she almost ran!

When Luna got downstairs, she found her mommy, daddy, and her little sister, Jurla waiting by the table. "Sissy!" Jurla cried, throwing her arms around her sister in a big, squishy hug. "Morning guys." Luna said to her family, a little surprised to find a present waiting on the table for her. "A present for our 5th grader!" Mommy replied.

For playing on with your friends!

When Luna opens her present, she gasps. It was a laptop! "For playing on with your friends!" Daddy says. "We know that you will make plenty." Luna grins from ear to ear as Jurla looks up at her.

Luna thanks her parents, then they check their email for anything new from the teacher. When Mommy looks at the screen, she gasps. "What is it, Anna?" Daddy asks. She turns the computer so that he can see. When he sees, he almost faints. Because, it turns out there was a virus going around! Luna would have to do virtual fifth grade! Once her parents told her, she was very disappointed, but knew it wouldn't do her any good to cry and pout. She decided to just go along with it and try it out online. She could even use her new computer!
