“Oh! I’m so excited!” Aurora exclaimed. “Today’s Christmas Eve!” Aurora put a mark on 24 on her Christmas calendar. But she was going to celebrate Christmas at night. She had to wait all day for that. This made her impatient. To pass time, she played with Daisy, her puppy.

The day passed so fast that before anyone knew it, it was already time to celebrate! Aurora put on a beautiful dress and put Daisy a dog perfume. “Aurora! Can you help me put the gifts under the tree?” Her mom asked. “Okay.” The girl replied. Then, Aurora’s dad came. “Your new dress is very pretty.” Her dad said. “Thank you.” She said. Her parents sat down to talk meanwhile Aurora colored Christmas drawings.

Minutes later, Aurora heard her mom calling. “Time to eat!” Her parents served good turkey with lots of other good food. Aurora picked the turkey with rice and a little bit of salad. They all sat down at the table to eat. “Yum!” Aurora said. “The food is delicious!” “Yes.” Her mom agreed. “Very delicious.” Said her dad.

Later, they had dessert. “Ice cream!” Aurora exclaimed. “I want Dulce de leche ice cream please.” Her mom served her the ice cream. Her parents ate chocolate ice cream, (as always). “Can I have more please?” The girl asked. “Of course!” Her dad said. She ate more delicious ice cream.

The time passed quickly. 1 more minute till Christmas! Her mom turned on the timer. “5… 4…3…2…1… ZERO!” They all exclaimed. “Merry Christmas!” They all hugged each other. “Merry Christmas Daisy!” Aurora exclaimed. “The fireworks started.” Her mom said. They all watched the fireworks.

After watching the fireworks, they all went to the nativity to pray, like they always do on Christmas. After praying, they turned on some Christmas music and began to open their presents. With a “Thank you!” “Thank you!” “I love it!” Filled the room, it was clear, everyone loved their gifts.
