They are action packed and adventurous, 

Daring characters with crazy stories,

Pulling me in, 

Those books

Books like,

Ugly, Hoot, And Then There Were None,

All those libraries with all that magic.

Last Day Of School

I can tell she is happy, running screaming with freedom,

She screams “Yes, time to get out of here,”

Elena she is so happy,

I can’t be leave it,

well I kind of can,

She can chill in her grandmas pool,

She can sleep in,

She can do all those end of school year/start of summer traditions,

I am devastated, 

I live in Port Washington, I will hardly see my friends,

I love my teacher, 

He is the best,

I have to go it’s the end

This summer I can sleep in,

But…

I would rather wake up early to go to school,

I would rather see friends 

Though We will leave, We will be back next year.

Babysitting’ my little sisters,

Having my first summative, man I don’t feel like king,

Playing euchre for the first time with help from my elders,

Teaching my little sisters even though they aren't good listeners,

Getting my sisters to clean up after our visitors,
