Prologue                                             

               Just the beginning?!

Once, there was a girl named Sara. She had a wild imagination and believed she could go through books. Year after year, Sara never stopped believing that she can go through books. One day, on her birthday, she received a new and special book. The cover was full of wonderful colors, and it said ‘Coloranda’s World’ on it. Sara had almost stopped believing that she could go through books. But this book felt like the book that she had been waiting for.

                Chapter One       

Sara took her book emergency bag to prepare for her adventure. She opened the book and stood on it. Sara never usually stood on her books, until today, she felt like she was going to go through it. She waited. And waited. Waiting, waiting, waiting!!! But she never got off the book. So, she started praying, hoping she could go through the book with her dog, Luna.

 When Sara opened her eyes, all she saw and smelled were trees. Sara pushed herself up, only to get a lick attack. ‘’Luna!’’ Sara said to her dog.

 ‘’Stop!’’ Luna, her dog, looked at Sara with puppy dog eyes, trying to look like she was sorry. ‘’Okay, I forgive you.’’

When Sara looked at her dog again, her dog looked different; she was red. Sara looked at her hand; she was purple. ‘’Ahh!!!’’ She screamed. Suddenly, just to make everything WORSE, a fairy hovered above her. ‘’Welcome to Coloranda!’’ The fairy greeted her. ‘’My name is Ruby! You can help us!’‘ 

‘’What do you mean, help you!’’ Sara yelled. ‘’MY ENTIRE LIFE I WANTED TO GO THROUGH A BOOK, NOW YOU WANT ME TO

HELP YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’’ The fairy ‘Ruby’ was speechless from Sara’s yelling, so she started stuttering. ‘’I-I-I um, I’m sor-ry but-t your-r from E-Earth, right-t?’’ Sara felt a little sorry for the fairy, but she didn’t show it. ‘’Of course I’m from Earth!’’ Sara yelled. ‘’Oh, goody!’’ Ruby said weirdly. ‘’You’re from the Oracle! You shall save imaginations down at Earth!’’ Sara sighed. ‘’I noticed everyone was losing their imagination.’’ 

 Exactly!’’ Ruby cheered. ‘’You’re just the person to help! Follow me!’’ Sara had no choice but to follow the fairy.                                                      

Chapter Two    

    Sara, out of breath, was trying to catch up with Ruby. ‘’So, Ruby…. Where exactly…… Are we going?’’

 ‘’We are going to Queen Isabell, the queen of colors,’’ Ruby replied. ‘’We are in Coloranda, the place where everything is colorful.’’ ’Oh!’ Sara thought, ‘That’s why Luna and I are colorful!’

‘’Now,’’ Ruby continued, ‘’Queen Isabell loves things to be colorful, so you and I are going to change.’’ The fairy pulled out her wand and twirled it to make Sara, Luna, and herself change.

 ’’What are your names?’’ Ruby asked Sara.  She can’t ask Luna, only if she can speak Dog, which she can’t. ‘’I’m Sara, and this is my dog, Luna.’’ 

The fairy smiled. ‘’Well, you’re going to have a great adventure, Sara and Luna.’’ Sara noticed Ruby’s wings. ‘’Can I be like a fairy, too?!’’ She asked excitedly. ‘’Of course!’’ Ruby replied. Then Sara had wings and a wand from Ruby’s magic. Ruby said, ‘’We must hurry. Queen Isabell does not like waiting.’’ 

 So they journeyed to the castle.                      

 Chapter Three

Once Sara, Ruby, and Luna arrived at the castle, the castle guard said, ‘’We have been waiting for your arrival. Come in, come in.’’

Queen Isabell calmly sat on her throne. ‘’I see, Sara, Ruby, Luna, and maybe someone else will save imaginations.’’ She spoke.  Sara gasped. ‘’We?’’ ‘’Yes, of course. Who else? You must go to Underfairy where imaginations are controlled.’’ She made it seem like she didn’t like the place. Sara gulped.

‘’It’s not drastic or anything,’’ the queen said, sensing Sara’s fear. ‘’However, you must be sneaky. The people who control imaginations sense everything you’re about to do.’’ 

Ruby coughed. ‘’Luckily, I know that place well. Come on!’’ And on they went…. to see a flying mermaid! ‘’Is that what I think it is?!’’ Sara asked excitedly. ‘’It’s a flying mermaid!’’ Ruby exclaimed proudly. ‘’Oh…hello down there!’’ The flying mermaid said. ‘’I’m Amber, I’m guessing your names are Ruby, Sarah, and Luna and you are going to Underfairy and I’m predicting what you’re about to say and I can predict the future to answer your question.’’ Sara gasped. ‘’Wait…I don’t see you anymore, Amber!’’ Ruby said, not believing what was happening. Sara gasped again. ‘’I can’t see anything but myself!’’ Amber laughed. ‘’You’re certainly not from around here!’’ She fiddled

with something quickly, then everything went back to normal. ‘’That’s better,’’ Ruby said. Sara coughed. ‘’Well…we must get going- ‘’ ‘’Ooh, let me come with you to Underfairy!’’ Amber suddenly interrupted. Ruby rolled her eyes. ‘’Here we go again.’’ Luna barked. Sara said, ‘’Poor girl is- ‘’ Amber finished the sentence. ‘’ -hungry! Yes, here are some dog treats.’’ ‘’Thank you!’’ Sara exclaimed happily. ‘’You should come with us!’’ Amber agreed.

       Chapter Four

Amber said, ‘’There are a few things you should know about me.’’ Sara laughed. ‘’Take your time. It sounds like you have more than a few things to talk about.’’ Amber giggled nervously. ‘’Well, I am the good princess of Underfairy and I can control imaginations.’’ She said in a rush. Everyone’s jaw dropped. Sara was the first to speak.

‘’So can you tell us why everyone is losing their imagination?!’’ She demanded. Amber’s eyes opened wide. ‘’There’s a rumor of the evil queen trying to

make imaginations disappear.’’ Ruby sighed. ‘’That’s just so sad.’’ ‘’I know.’’ Sara and Amber said at the

same time. They smiled. Ruby said, ‘’Let’s go to the evil queen.’’ Everyone had no choice but to agree.

Chapter Five

Two dogs sat in front of the door to guard Underfairy caves. ‘’How do we get past them?’’ Ruby asked, whispering. Sara said, ‘’We’re going to-‘’ ‘’Got it!’’ Amber said. Ruby sighed. ‘’Can I know what Sara said?’’ Sarah frowned at Amber. ‘’Sorry, sorry!’’ Amber said. ‘’But now it’s time for Luna- ‘’ ‘’Got it!’’ Ruby whispered loudly. ‘’Hey!’’ Amber said. ‘’Guys!’’ Sara whispered fiercely. ‘’It’s time for Luna power!’’

Luna stood in front of the door. ‘’You got this, Luna!’’ Sara had said before she went. Luna whimpered. The dogs barked. Luna barked. Then, finally, the dogs opened the door and took Luna with them. Luna knew they were taking her to lunch. Sara sniffled. ‘’I hope she’s safe.’’ For once, Amber didn’t interrupt her. ‘’Me too.’’ She said quietly. Ruby made a sad face. ‘’I hope we did the right thing.’’ Sara, Ruby, and Amber carefully go through the door. ‘’There is no one coming,’’ Sara whispered. ‘’Hey!’’ Ruby whispered unexpectedly, ‘’Why can’t Amber just tell us what will happen in the future?’’ Amber sighed. ‘’I suppose I should give it a try.’’ 

Sara shivered as they traveled through dark tunnels. ‘’Isn’t this spooky?!’’ Ruby whispered. ‘’I love it!’’ ‘’This isn’t really fun,’’ Amber whispered back. ‘’I don’t like going through these tunnels.’’ ‘’Guys,

be quiet!’’ Sara now whispered. ‘’I think we’re almost there!’’ ‘’I think the place where we arrive is even spookier,’’ Amber grumbled. And by the look of things, it seemed like she was correct.

      Ruby said, ‘’Before we keep walking, we should look different just in case we get caught.’’ Ruby twirled her wand and everyone looked different. Sara gasped. ‘’Amber... you have… LEGS!!!’’ 

 ‘’Indeed, I do!’’ Amber said, amazed. ‘’I know we look different,’’ Ruby said, ‘’But Underfairy people are dressed to look like maids.’’ ‘’Oh,’’ said Sara. ‘’We should go… that way,’’ Amber said. And on they went, but they suddenly bumped into a maid and Her Highness!

‘’Are you all new maids?’’ Her Highness asked. ‘’Yes, we are.’’ Sara lied. ‘’She means we’re your assistant. The more, the better!’’

Ruby said, helping Sara. Her Highness studied them. ‘’Let’s go to my bedroom, then!’’ The maid beside Her Highness asked curiously, ‘’What are your names? I’ve never seen you before.’’ Sara said, ‘’I’m Sara, the orange head girl is Ruby, and the green head girl is Amber.’’ The girl laughed. ‘’What wonderful names! I’m Rosie, and Her Highness is named Coral.’’ ‘’Welcome to my bedroom!’’ Coral suddenly said. Ruby and Sarah gasped at the beauty of the room. It was about the size of Sara’s backyard tennis court outside.                                                                                                                                            

‘’Is this your BEDROOM!’’ asked Sara, excitedly. ‘’Of course, it is,’’ said Coral. ‘’Excuse me, Coral,’’ Ruby started to say, ‘’Who is the queen?’’ ‘’The queen is my mother,’’ she replied, ‘’And she isn’t going to help you.’’ ‘’Amber, she KNOWS?!’’ Ruby asked, in panic.

Amber’s eyes grew wide. ‘’Coral is the queen!’’ ‘’And how dare you enter my chambers without permission!’’ Coral wasn’t Coral anymore. She was Mrs. Terrifying. ‘’And I guarantee that you won’t find my daughter, the real Coral. Who looks exactly like me.’’ ‘’They will!’’ The real Coral said, appearing in the chamber. She was only a bit shorter than her mother. ‘’How dare you, mother!’’ To Amber, Sara, and Ruby she said, ‘’RUN! I am coming!’’
