Twas a hot summer day,

the girls were a'play

and the doggies were digging a hole.

A little young boy ran into a pole

and a woman ran home for her son.

Her son came a'run with his back to the sun, 

living the life of his dreams.

One young little girl as it seems

she was sad.

Her brother however was mad.

For the parents of two with their hearts stuck with glue 

had told them they're moving away.

So the kids said goodbye without say.

The drive down was long,

so they all sung a song 

and their kitty ran home for his toy.

The kids wanted Roy

but the parents said 

with their heads wanting bed

that cats weren't important no more.

The girl wasn't sore, 

but she just wanted the cat.

The boy just sat

until he got to finally go poo.

The girl used some glue,

but she still felt her heart was in two.

The drive down was over

but there wasn't a soldier in sight

so she might

just decide to run home like the cat.

Her brother had pooed on the bathroom mat,

and that made her want home more.

So the girl ran away,

leaving family astray,

not knowing the house was not theirs.

She ran to her old house until she was in pairs,

but then she realized they did not own the house that they left and did not even see a mouse.

The girl took the cat and met someone named Matt who was married to someone named Pat.

She ran to the house that they stayed at before 

where the girl wanted more but her family wasn't to be found.

She did not want to go to the pound, so she ran back away realizing that

the lady named Pat really owned this house and her family was going to theirs.

She ran far along, her legs very strong, and came to car like hers. She went into the house and the rooster with spurs clucked to welcome her. She cried out with joy, and so did little Roy as they said sorry to their family.
