FIRST VERSE- January 17, 24
1 Timothy 4:12 – “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and purity.”
Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young in age! You can always set an example to other believers, and also to children younger than you.
Always do what is right as well, even if you are young in age. God sees your heart and knows your true motives.
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Trust in God, not in yourself! Submit yourself to him- obey and trust him- and he will make your path straight- he will guide you.
SECOND VERSE- January 18, 24
He will make your path straight.
Psalm 34:4 – “I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.”
If you are scared, or fearful of something, don't hide your feelings! Pray to God your Father if you are scared or fearful, and he will deliver you. He will make you feel safe.
THIRD VERSE-January 19, 24
He will deliver you from your fears.
FOURTH VERSE-January 23, 24
Ephesians 6:1-3: Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
Obeying your mom and dad is important for all kids, including myself. They know better than us, and will show us how to behave.
Joshua 1:9: Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
God is always with you, so there is no need to be afraid. He is with you wherever you go.
Fifth Verse- January 24, 24
James 1:5: If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
If you are having trouble making a decision, or you need wisdom for a matter, God will give it to you. Always ask God for help.
Sixth Verse- January 25, 24
Isaiah 43:2 – “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you.”
God is with you no matter where you are; he will not let you be harmed.
Seventh Verse- February 1st, 24
Exodus 15:11: Who is like you, O Lord, glorious in holiness, awsome in splendor, performing great wonders?
God is amazing! He created us and everything we see, He performs great miracles every single day, he is just amazing! Who is like Him? No one! God is just too wonderful to understand.
Eight Verse-February 13, 24
He made everything
Ninth Verse: February 15, 24
John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Isn't God amazing? He sent His son- with no sin, no blemishes- to pay for OUR sins. A gift we didn't deserve! God is incredible. He deserves our praise. So praise His glorious name!
Tenth Verse: February 18, 24
Isaiah 49:16: See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands.
You are very special to God. How does this verse from Isaiah make you feel?
ELEVENTH VERSE: February 19, 24
Genesis 49:18: I trust in you for salvation, O Lord!
You can trust God to always watch over you, and you must always trust in Him and his Will. His plan is bigger than ours.
Twelfth Verse: February 26, 24
The kingdom of heaven belongs to pure, sinless children. Children are simple-minded, and forgive unconditionally.
Thirteenth Verse: February 28, 24
Ecclesiastes 9:10: Whatever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might.
Do your best, in all you do. If it's your chores, do it with your best. I know it's sometimes hard to do it without complaining, but remember: God is always watching you. He knows if you are trying or if you are not.
FOURTEENTH VERSE: February 29, 24
It's sometimes hard, but the right thing to do is forgive. Jesus forgives you; why shouldn't you forgive others? I can understand forgiving is hard. I have two brothers and I have to forgive them for the things they do.
