Imagine grass.
Not little patches of grass, or a baseball field patch or a football field catch but almost an endless patch of grass.
So it's not a patch. I apologize.
It's a farm. A farm in hilly Tennessee. There was once a little girl who passed by it every time she went for a bike ride. The farm was for sale. The girl never imagined she would by it.
Now, I want you to imagine snow. Not just a foot, but two feet, three feet, four feet, five feet-
Sure is a lot of snow!
Add lots of trees to the mix and you've got Wyoming, which I called the snow state.
There was this boy who lived in Wyoming. He was going to Tennessee to visit his grandparents. By the way, the boy's name is Jonah.
And when he went to Tennessee, he met the girl we've previously talked about. By the way, her name is Kathleen. Long story short, after a few years, they got married.
Now you may wonder why I jumped to this point, but you needed to know how that patch of grass (the farm,) was bought.
The newly married couple wanted to buy a farm, to not be near a city, and when they have kids they'd grow up in the country.
So that's how that farm was bought. It was funny for Kathleen, who passed by it every day and never gave the farm a thought.
After they bought the farm, they started buying necessary animals. First two chickens, then a cow, and then three sheep, and then two horses. And then a dog and a cat. And a bull.
Pretty soon their farm was full, but not only with animals...
13 YEARS LATER:
So. Ahem. Before we start talking about THE OTHER INHABITANTS here is something you need to know.
They have five kids. Acacia, Brooklyn, Jeffrey, Cordelia, and Timothy. All right? Let's continue.
If you were in Tennessee, you cannot see the For Sale sign on the farm anymore, but that's obvious, for it was taken down.
But you can also not see a smoke- clear sky anymore either...
''I need tape!'' Jeffrey shouted across the room. ''The sign won't hold!''
Acacia was trying to focus on the potatoes and the meat, because she felt if she took her eyes off it for a minute it would burn.
''Brook!'' she called her sister, who was busy retrieving tape. Brooklyn handed the tape to Jeffrey. ''Yes?''
''Start making the toast! And keep checking on the rice!''
''Acacia, can you help me make a heart?'' Timothy said, appearing in the chaotic scene.
With all the chaos, the kitchen seemed smaller. ''How about you ask Cordelia?''
Timothy sighed. ''She's upset right now. Her favorite pen broke.''
Acacia hurriedly grabbed a sheet of paper and made a quick heart. ''There,'' she said.
Timothy frowned. ''You need to do it on this paper,'' he said, handing her another sheet of paper. ''And that is not your best.''
Acacia took a very deep breath, for she was getting very frustrated, and when she got frustrated,
