I dedicate this book to my Mom's mom aka my Mom-mom.

Meet the Tuno Family. Kion, Za-yahna, Jes-tik, and Za-yahn and there parents Kiioka and Zimbob. They are getting ready for their trip. They are going to visit Africa for Kion's Birthday.

The Tuno family left Chicago on Sunday and arrived in South Africa on late Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Tuno rented a big house.

When they got to the house, They all rushed inside and got ready for the evening. They would be attending an African themed gathering. 

Kion and his family are excited to have an African-themed night! They're going to eat yummy African food, play cool African instruments, have fun with African games, and sing awesome African songs and music. For dinner, they're having Jollof rice, pinto beans, corn, African stew, and fish. Check out the South African flag!

Kion decided to have an African dog show at the house. Mr. and Ms. Tuno invited their family that live all over Africa.

Kion ran up to his parents with a big grin. When he got inside, his dad was playing a chess video game with Washan ( Kion's uncle or Kion's dad's brother), and Kion's mom was sitting on the couch. "Hey, Mom and Dad, can you be the judges for our dog show? We're gonna have hurdles, tunnels, and all sorts of cool stuff. It would be awesome if you could watch and pick the best dog!" His parents smiled and nodded. "That sounds like fun, Kion! We'd love to be the judges." Kion was so happy he could hardly wait to start setting up the obstacle course.
