Once upon a time,
there was a little boy,
his mother,
and his father
who lived in the country.
One day the little boy and his mother were baking a gingerbread boy, so the father shared a tale about the
time he opened the oven door and let the Gingerbread Man escape. As they created the gingerbread boy, the
little boy used a rolling pin to roll the dough out, and the mother scooped the dough out of the bowl and onto a
pan with a mixing spatula to form the shape of the gingerbread boy. When they finished making Gingie, the name
they had given the gingerbread boy, the father and mother put the little boy in charge of watching the oven.
They explained to him that he didn't need to open the oven door no matter how good Gingie smelled.

In the oven, Gingie started to become golden-brown, and the amazing smell filled the room. The little boy
sat impatiently trying to resist the urge to open the oven door. After some time, he was unable to take it
any longer, so the boy slid the door open to peek inside to see if Gingie was done.
"Yippee! I'm free!" yelled Gingie as he ran toward the door. The little boy chased Gingie and tried to close
the door, but Gingie ran more swiftly. He went out the door and down the ramp(incline plane).

The mother and father saw Gingie. The father dropped the rake(lever) he was holding while the mother
released the bucket of water she was holding by the well. They started to run after him alongside the
little boy.
Gingie called out, "Chase me! Chase me, as fast as you can. You can't catch me. I'm Gingie!" They tried to
catch up to Gingie, but Gingie ran more swiftly.

The mother, father, and little boy finally grew tired and stopped to play on the seesaw.

After a few miles, Gingie came to an alligator in a river. Gingie crossed the river to the higher side on a
small wooden board while the alligator asked him, "What are you doing?"
"I have been chased by a little boy, a mother, and a father and have outrun them all. I can outrun you
too," replied Gingie.

"You think it's possible, do you?" declared the alligator as he hopped out of the water. The two started
to run.
As they ran, Gingie bragged, "Chase me! Chase me, as fast as you can. You can't catch me. I'm Gingie!"
Soon Gingie came up to a zip line that ran back across the river, so he used it to outrun the alligator. The
alligator gave up and sat on a nearby bench.

After a few miles, Gingie came to a wolf on the road. The wolf asked him, "What are you doing?"
"I have been chased by a little boy, a mother, a father, and an alligator and have outrun them all. I can
outrun you too," replied Gingie.
"You think it's possible, do you?" declared the wolf as he started to run after Gingie.
As they ran, Gingie bragged, "Chase me! Chase me, as fast as you can. You can't catch me. I'm Gingie!"
Soon Gingie came up to a skateboard(wheel and axle) on the side of the road and started to ride.

Gingie was super-fast on the skateboard, so the wolf knew he had no chance and was about to give up
when he saw a kid riding on a bicycle. The wolf went over and grabbed the bike out from under the kid
making him cry and started to ride after Gingie.

The wolf was almost caught up to Gingie when a woman walked up in front of him and started to threaten
him with an ax(wedge) because he took her son's bike. Gingie kept riding on the skateboard for a little
while longer, then he started walking again.

After a few miles, Gingie came to a bear outside of his house. The bear was on a ladder screwing in a light
bulb(screw) and noticed Gingie, so he asked him, "What are you doing?"
"I have been chased by a little boy, a mother, a father, an alligator, and a wolf and have outrun them all.
I can outrun you too," replied Gingie as he walked up a hill.
