There once was a dog who never got lost in the fog, 

    he liked to go to the beach, even though he would sometimes discover a leech.

    Dog was a hero, he liked to save, even if you were stuck in a cave.

    One day, a horse trotted by, a little upset because of the sty in his eye. Due to this disability, the horse got tangled in a rope almost immediately.

    His neighs were heard far away. 

    Dog heard the cries of distress, he got up even though he was taking a rest.

    By the time Dog saved the day, he knew he was done with the Police Dog way.

    ''It's time for the old dog to retire,'' a police officer said and cut his badge wire.

    Dog was adopted, safe and sound. What a very nice family he found.

    Now it's time to let the old dog be. You see? A happy ending.
