About Rugby:
Rugby is simply based on running with the ball in hand. In its most common form, a game is played between two teams of 15 players each, using an oval shaped ball on a rectangular field called a pitch. The field has H-shaped goalposts at both ends.

Rugby positions:
1. Fowards:
The main responsibilities of the forward players are to gain and retain possession of the ball. Forwards usually play the role in tackling and rucking opposing players. Players in these positions are generally bigger and stronger and take part in the scrum and line-out.
1.1. Centre:
A position of the forward. When the ball is moved along the opposition backline, the centres are the first players to make the tackle. They need to be aggressive tacklers to knock their opponent down and seize the ball and be good at organising the defensive lines.
2. Back:
The role of the backs is to create point-scoring opportunities. They are generally smaller, faster and more agile than the forwards. Another distinction between the backs and the forwards is that the backs are expected to have better kicking and ball-handling skills
2.2.Wing:
A position of the back. Usually the fastest runner in the team. They are generally positioned on the outside.
3. Scrum half:
The scrum-half is the link between the forwards and the backs. They receive the ball from the line-out and remove the ball from the back of the scrum. Along with the fly-half, they make many of the tactical decisions on the field. During general play, the scrum-half is generally the player who receives the ball from the forwards and passes it to the backs. They are good communicators.
4.Fly half:
They are usually the first to receive the ball from the scrum-half following a lineout, or scrum, and need to be decisive with what actions to take and be effective at communicating with the outside backs. Many fly-halves are also their team's goal kickers. The scrum-half is the link between the forwards and the backs. They receive the ball from the lineout and remove the ball from the back of the scrum, usually passing to the fly half.
5. Hoocker:
The hooker is positioned between the two props in the scrum. After the scrum half throws the ball into the scrum, the hooker from the team which threw in the ball must strike for the ball. Any front-row player may use a foot to strike for the ball and gain possession
