Self-esteem is the assessment and perception we have of ourselves. It's about how we see ourselves, accept ourselves and value ourselves emotionally, mentally and physically.

LUCY THE FIREFLY

Once upon a time, there was a group of fireflies that lived in a beautiful forest. Each of them had their own unique brightness and radiance.

However, a firefly named Lucy always felt dull and opaque compared to the others, because she was always mocked for not having the same brightness as the others. 

Lucy constantly  compared herself to the others fireflies, feeling inferior and worthless. She spent her nights hidden in the shadows, not daring to show his light. 

But one day, Lucy met a wise firefly named Estrella. 

Estrella taught Lucy that she should not compare herself to the others.

Estrella told her....

"Cada uno de nosotros tiene un brillo unico y hermoso. No importa cuan pequeÑa o tenue parezca tu luz, eres valiosa y puedes iluminar el mundo de una manera unica"

Little by little, Lucy began to accept herself and embrace her own light.

She stopped comparing herself with others and realized that her shine was as important as that of any other firefly.

I'M PROUD!

I'M BEAUTIFUL!

She began to fly through the forest, illuminating the path for others animals and filling the forest with magic and joy.

Lucy embraced her true courage. other fireflies were inspired by her and also began to accept and love themselves.
