THE WOODS

Once there was a young boy named Benny , he loved to explore and loved the woods. 

Everyone thought he was wired, I mean who would like the woods, “it’s a creepy place where clowns and monsters hang out!” Said Theo, Bennys friend. “No, no, that’s not my kind of woods.” Benny said with ease. “My woods are pretty and always have daylight. My woods have cute deer and other animals that live there.” Benny said with ease.

The next night Benny went to new woods, it was sunset and he was very exited. But then heard a noise. “Hay you! Kid, stop. You’re gonna die in there!” “No I am not. These woods are very pretty, thank you for the warning though.” “We never saw him again.” “Who?” “Our friend Ricky. He went in there to hide, we were playing hide and seek. We never saw him again.” “Well I think you are trying to scare me. Thank you for the warning.” And Benny was off.

The sun began to set, and Benny realized why those kids told him not to go in, the woods  were  getting darker. Benny began to feel scared. “T-this is not m-my kind o-of woods” Benny stammered. “I think I will head home now.”  Benny stared to walk home and took the turn that would take him there. But he quickly got lost.

Benny then heard a noice, he was so scared. He wanted to run but he felt frozen in place, then he heard something. It was right behind him! He didn’t dare move a muscle. He almost screamed when he felt long finger nails on his neck. Benny couldn’t take it anymore. He ran as fast as he could. Taking random turn and finally after what seemed like hours he finally made it out of the woods! He cried as soon as he made it out and ran all the way home.

When he made it home he cried as he entered the house, “mom! I am home I made it!” No one answered. Then he heard something, his mother! “Who? What are you doing in my hou-“ his mother dropped what she was carrying when she saw Benny. “B-Benny? Is that you, I thought you were dead, and you, you haven’t aged at all! Oh Benny!” His mom pulled him into a hug and then kiss, but wait, his mother. She looked different. 

His mom had blonde hair, and here she had gray, “where is father, and why do you look so different?”  “Oh, sweetie, you have been missing for 30 years. Your father passed away 2 years ago.”  Tears filled Bennys eyes, and he did not know what to say. He only fainted in shock. 

When he woke up he realized that he was in his bedroom, his mom and dad surrounded him. She had blonde again. “Benny! Oh thank goodness you’re okay! Your father found you in the woods.”

Benny was so confused, but he didn’t say anything about it, he liked having his mother and father back to just the way they were supposed to do.

Benny kept his sighting of the future to himself for the rest of his life, his mom told him he could only could go to the woods near their house. But Benny became an inside kid and never went into the woods again. And his parents began to worry about him, but he just told them he was scared of getting lost again. And that’s why you should never go in the woods at night…

BLOODY MARY

once there was a young girl named Delilah who was having a sleepover on Halloween night.

She said she wanted to do all kinds of scary things, like watch her favorite Halloween movie, Chucky.  She told her 2 friends that were coming about what they would do. Riley, and Lily, her best friends told her the sleepover sounded like a great idea and they said they were in. Though she didn’t tell them about one part that she knew they would say no to, but that can wait.

Her friends got there around 5:00, so there was at least 4 hours to watch scary movies, she told them all about her plans, expect the secret one. First they would watch movies, then tell scary stories in the dark, then party and stuff their faces with candy, and then take a relaxing bath… With scary music in the background! And then, at 4:00 in the morning, her secret would take place. Which you do not need to know about right now.

       Riley                           Lily                     

Delilah was pretty exited! By the time it was around 4:00 she had to tell her friends the secret, she walked up, “Lily, Riley, I have something to tell you.. We are doing Bloody Mary.” Delilah’s friend’s mouths hanged open, then someone spoke.  It was Lily, she said “If you had told us that before we wouldn’t had come, you lied! And now we want to leave. Come on Riley.”  “No, wait, I am sorry, I shouldn’t have lied.”

“If you stay then I will give you all of my candy.” Her friends reluctantly agreed because everyone knew how much candy Delilah had. They one by one went into the bathroom and said “I do believe in Bloody Mary” all together, 3 times.

At first nothing happened, but then as  they stared to leave Bloody Mary appeared! They ran all over trying to escape but eventually Bloody Mary caught up to them. After that all that was  left in that house was some blood and a terrifying scream that would last forever. So never ever EVER try to summon Bloody Mary.   

THE HOUSE NEXT DOOR

Elli was a young girl, only 12, she was very curious about the outside world and all the mysteries the world had to unfold. When a new  neighbor moved in she was so exited!  

The next morning she went to the house, but it was a little overgrown. She didn’t judge books by their covers, so she knocked. At first, no one answered. But then she heard the door slowly creak open.

When the door cracked open she couldn’t see anyone. “Ummmm, hello? Is anyone home?” She didn’t hear anyone. So, she walked in.

Inside, Elli looked around. It looked like a poison tornado had wiped out the entire house. “Oh! I didn’t know I had a visitor. My darn hearing aids oh, hi.” A little old woman who looked to be in her 90s came into view. “Hi, sorry to barge in, but I just wanted to look around and you know, meet the new owners.” “Oh, well I am very sorry about the mess. I haven’t stared unpacking yet. It was like this when I got here. ‘Don’t  know what happened. My names prudence.” Elli left.
