Once upon a time, long long ago, there was a lonely. He had no family to comfort him. His world was gray and . . . empty. Ever since his father died, there had been one question he wanted answered: What is meaning?
His days went on. One day, he decided to face the witch, who cured people and sometimes gave advice. He asked her his question. "Ah," the witch said, mixing her cauldron. "'Meaning' is beauty. Beauty is far essential for a meaningful life."
The next day, the boy looked high and low. He looked this way and that. That way and this. But he simply could not find beauty. "Where has all the beauty gone?" he wondered aloud.
