Max was walking his dog, Tripp, on the beach. "Woof Woof!" Tripp said, he had found something!  "Woah! A seashell! Cool find, Tripp! Lets bring it home to show Sofia!" said Max.

Max and Tripp finally came home. "Woah that was a long walk, haha! Lets go have lunch and tell Sofia about the shell." Then they went inside and Max fed Tripp and their cat Matthew.

"Hey Sofia, look at this seashell me and Tripp found!" said Max. "Whoa that's super cool! Lets put it in your room!" Sofia said. " Yea lets go!" Max then said. Then they walked to his bedroom.

"There, perfect!" said Max. " Yea I like it too!"

said Sofia. "Now lets go help Mom and Dad in the backyard." "Ok!" said Max. Then they left to help their parents.

Then when they came back the shell was gone! "Why did someone take it!" Max said. "Who took it!?" Sofia said. "Lets look for clues around the house," Max said. "Ok!" said Sofia.

"Hey Mom, have you seen my shell? It went missing," said Max. "No sorry, I was outside the whole time," said Mom. "Me nether," said Dad. "Then who took it?!" said Max. "Come on, lets look in town," said Sofia. "Ok" said Max. "Be careful though!" said Mom.

"Excuse me, but have you seen a shell anywhere?"  said Sofia. "No sorry, have you checked downtown? I think someone sells seashells down there." said the man. "Ok thank you!" said Sofia.

"Excuse me but do you have my shell?" said Max. "Oh no, sorry, I get these myself." said the woman "But have you checked the gas station? I think the woman who works there collects seashells." said the woman. "Thanks!" said Max.
