WELL-BEING CLASS IN MY DREAM

DAY 1 STARTING THE DIARY
Dear Diary,
Today feels like the perfect day to start something new, something just for me. Mom says keeping a diary can help me understand my feelings better, and since I’m all about self-care lately, I thought, why not give it a shot? So here I am, with you, Daisy’s very own well-being diary!
I woke up feeling kinda sleepy, but after a yummy breakfast of pancakes and berries, I felt ready to take on the day. I even did some stretches in my room because I read somewhere that it’s good for your body and mind. It felt nice, like I was giving myself a little hug.

School was okay. Math was still math ( yuck) , but lunch with my friends was fun. We laughed a lot, and I think laughing counts as exercise for your soul, right? After school, I tried out a new hobby Mom suggested: painting. It was messy, but I loved it! I made a rainbow-colored mess on my canvas, and it made me feel happy inside.
Now, as I write this, I’m snuggled up in bed with my favorite book. I’m excited to see what tomorrow brings and to write it all down here. It feels good to have a place where I can be totally me, without worrying about anything else.
Until tomorrow diary!

Dear Diary,
Today, I embarked on a new journey towards personal well-being through mindful breathing exercises, a simple yet profound method I discovered in a wellness book. The day began with the usual hustle, but amidst the chaos, I found a moment of serenity. I chose a quiet corner of my room, sat down with my legs crossed, and closed my eyes. The exercise was straightforward - breathe in deeply, hold the breath for a few seconds, and then slowly exhale.
As I inhaled and exhaled, I tried to clear my mind of the clutter -
DAY 2 MINDFUL BREATHING EXERCISES
the deadlines, the expectations, and the noise. With each breath, I imagined myself letting go of stress, unwinding the tightly wound springs of my thoughts. I began to notice a change. My heartbeat slowed, my muscles relaxed, and a sense of calm enveloped me.
This exercise made me realize how seldom we pay attention to our breath, yet it holds immense power in influencing our mental and physical state.
I've decided to make mindful breathing a part of my daily routine, a ritual to nurture my well-being.
Diary, as I continue on this path, I look forward to discovering more about myself and the profound impact of mindful living.
Yours truly, A girl on a journey to well-being

Dear Diary,
Today was simply enchanting. I started my day with a refreshing nature walk through the forest. The towering trees greeted me with their lush green leaves, and the melodious chirping of birds filled the air. It's incredible how being surrounded by nature instantly lifts my spirits.
As I wandered deeper into the woods, I couldn't help but marvel at the diversity of plants and animals around me. From delicate wildflowers peeking through the underbrush to squirrels scampering up tree trunks, every corner of the forest was teeming with life.
One thing that struck me during my walk was the importance of protecting our environment. With each step, I was reminded of the fragile balance that exists between humans and nature.
DAY 3 NATURE WALK

It's crucial that we take care of our planet, not just for ourselves but for the countless species that call it home.
I made a conscious effort to be eco-friendly during my walk, picking up any litter I came across and making sure to stay on designated trails to minimize my impact on the ecosystem. It's the least I can do to show my gratitude for the beauty that surrounds me.
As the day drew to a close and I made my way back home, I couldn't shake the sense of peace and contentment that enveloped me. Nature truly has a way of soothing the soul, and I'm grateful for
every moment I get to spend immersed in its wonders.
Until next time Daisy

Dear Diary,
Today was like painting with emotions across a canvas of my heart. The morning dawned with a palette of possibilities, each hue vibrant and promising. As I walked to school, the world around me seemed to burst with color, as if every emotion had its own shade.
In art class, I poured my feelings onto paper, letting the strokes of my brush tell the story of my soul. With each stroke, I felt a release, as if I was transferring a piece of myself onto the canvas. The colors danced together in harmony, creating a rainbow of emotions that whispered secrets only my heart could understand.
DAY 4 FLOW EMOTIONS THROUGH PAINTING
At lunch, I sat with my friends, our laughter echoing like the bright tones of a cheerful melody. We shared stories and dreams, painting our futures with words that sparkled with hope and possibility. After school, I took a walk in the park, letting the beauty of nature wash over me like a soothing balm. The colors of the sunset painted the sky in hues of pink, orange, and gold, a breathtaking masterpiece that filled me with awe and wonder. As I write this, I can't help but feel grateful for the gift of emotions, for the way they color my world and make each day a work of art. Today, I embraced the rainbow of feelings that make me who I am, knowing that each one is a brushstroke in the masterpiece of my life. Rabiye Karataş/ Sadettin Türkün Secondary School
Today marked the beginning of my digital detox journey. I woke up feeling both excited and anxious about the prospect of disconnecting from my devices. The morning started off well. Instead of reaching for my phone as soon as I woke up, I spent some time meditating and enjoying a leisurely breakfast without any distractions. It felt liberating to have some quiet time to myself before diving into the day. Throughout the day, I made a conscious effort to limit my screen time. I refrained from mindlessly scrolling through social media and instead focused on more meaningful activities.I took a long walk in nature, read a book that had been sitting on my shelf for months, and even tried my hand at painting. However, I did find myself instinctively reaching for my phone several times, especially when I felt bored or restless.

DAY 5 DIGITAL DETOX
It was a reminder of how ingrained technology has become in my daily routine. Each time, though, I resisted the temptation and found alternative ways to occupy my time.By the evening, I felt a sense of clarity and calm that I hadn't experienced in a long time. Without the constant bombardment of notifications and information overload, I was able to truly be present in the moment and appreciate the simple joys of life. As I reflect on the day, I realize that digital detox is not just about disconnecting from screens; it's about reconnecting with myself and the world around me. I look forward to continuing this journey and discovering more moments of peace and fulfillment along the way.

DAY 6 RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS
Dear Diary,
Today was filled with so many surprises! It started off like any other day, with me waking up to the sound of birds chirping outside my window. But little did I know, today would be different.
After breakfast, I headed to the park with my friends. We played tag and climbed trees, enjoying the warm sunshine. As we were playing, we noticed an elderly lady struggling to carry her groceries. Without hesitation, we rushed over to help her. Together, we carried her bags all the way to her doorstep. Her face lit up with gratitude, and it made me feel so good inside.
Later in the afternoon, we stumbled upon a fundraising event for a local animal shelter. They were in need of donations to help take care of the animals.
My friends and I pooled our pocket money together and donated what we could. The volunteers at the shelter were overjoyed and thanked us profusely. It felt wonderful to know that we were making a difference in the lives of those furry friends.
In the evening, as I was walking home, I noticed a little girl sitting alone on a bench, looking sad. I approached her and asked if everything was okay. She told me she had lost her favorite teddy bear and was feeling lonely. Without a second thought, I sat down beside her and offered her my favorite teddy bear. Her eyes widened with surprise, and then she gave me the biggest hug ever. Seeing her smile again warmed my heart.
Today taught me that even the smallest acts of kindness can brighten someone's day. I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
Until next time, Daisy

Day 7 - Self-Care
Dear Diary,
Today I embarked on a journey of self-care, something I’ve been meaning to do for a while. I realized that in the hustle and bustle of daily life, I often forget to take care of myself. So, I decided to dedicate today to nurturing my mind, body and soul.
MORNING
I woke up early to the sound of my favorite calming playlist. Insteadof reaching for my phone right away, I took a few minutes to stretch and breathe deeply. It felt refreshing to start the day without the immediate rush of notifications and social media. After a warm shower, I made myself nutritious breakfast: a smoothie bowl with fresh berries, bananas, and a sprinkle of granola.
Eating slowly and mindfully, I savored each bite and felt grateful for the simple pleasures of a healthy meal.
AFTERNOON
I spent some time in the garden, tending to my flowers. There’s something incredibly soothing about connecting with nature. My roses are blooming beautifully, and I found joy in the vibrant colors and sweet scents.Later I decided to try a new yoga routine. It was challenging but rewarding. I felt my muscles stretching and strengthening, and my mind became clearer and more focused with each pose. After yoga, I meditated for ten minutes, which helped me center myself and release any lingering stress..
EVENING
In the evening, I treated myself to a home spa session. I ran a warm bath with lavender essential oil and soaked in it for about thirty minutes. The aroma and warmth relaxed my entire body. After the bath, I applied a nourishing face mask and gave myself a mini facial. my skin felt rejuvenated and soft.
For dinner, I cooked a light and healthy meal: grilled salmon with a side of quinoa and steamed vegetables. Cooking can be very therapeutic, and I enjoyed the process of creating something delicious and healthy.
NIGHT
To wind down, I read a few chapters of a novel I’ve been meaning to finish. Reading before bed helped me escape into another world and forget about any worries. I finished the day with a cup of chamomile tea, which soothed me and prepared me for a restful sleep Reflecting on today,, I realize how important it is to take time for myself. Self-care isn ’t just about pampering; it’s about maintaining a balance and ensuring that I am healthy and happy. Today has been a wonderful reminder to make self-care a regular part of my life..
Goodnight, Diary. I look forward to another day of nurturing myself and enjoying the little things that bring joy and peace. Love, Daisy...

DAY 8 -SHARING WITH FRIENDS
Today was one of those days that make me grateful for my friends. It started off like any other Tuesday. I dragged myself out of bed, barely awake, and stumbled through my morning routine. Breakfast was the usual—a bowl of cereal, a banana, and a glass of orange juice. By the time I got to school, I was already feeling the weight of the day.
First period was history, which is usually a drag, but today we had a group project. I teamed up with Max and Leo, two of my best friends. We had to create a presentation on the Industrial Revolution. Max is the history buff among us, so he took charge of the research. Leo and I worked on the visuals and tried to come up with a creative way to present the information. We laughed a lot, especially when Leo accidentally made a meme out of a historical figure. Somehow, we managed to get everything done.
Lunchtime was the highlight, as always. Our usual spot under the big oak tree was already taken, so we had to find a new place. We ended up sitting on the steps by the gym. I shared my extra cookies with everyone. Jamie, who usually has the best stories, told us about his latest gaming adventures, and we all debated the best strategies for beating the final boss. It felt good to just relax and share those moments together.
After school, we all headed to the park. We played basketball for a bit, and even though I'm not the best player, it was fun. Max, who’s great at basketball, shared some tips with me. I could feel myself getting better with each game. When we got tired, we just sat around and talked. Leo shared his playlist with us, and we discovered some awesome new songs.
When I got home, I had to face the mountain of homework waiting for me. But even then, sharing made it easier. We have this group chat where we help each other out with assignments. I asked Jamie for help with math, and he walked me through the problems.
In return, I helped Max with his English essay. It’s like we all have each other’s backs.
Mom called us for dinner, and I shared with my family about the day. It was nice to recount the moments and see their smiles. It reminded me of how important it is to have people you can share your life with, whether it’s friends or family.
Now, as I lie in bed, I can't help but feel a sense of contentment. Sharing with friends makes even the most ordinary days extraordinary. It’s those shared laughs, the small acts of kindness, and the support we give each other that make everything better.
Goodnight, Diary. Here’s to more days filled with sharing and friendship.

DAY 9 Dance Break
I started today with excitement. Preparations for the school's annual dance event are complete and I can't wait to go dancing with my best friends Max, Leo and Emily. As I walked through the school corridors, I stood out with my colorful prom dress. I gave my hair light waves and applied light make-up to my eyes. Smiling with excitement, I walked towards the dance hall.Max, Leo and Emily were waiting for me at the dance hall door. Max smiled and approached me in his beautiful suit. "Hey Daisy! You look great," he said.
Yes, definitely. Tonight is going to be a great night," Leo added cheerfully
Emily looked at me with a warm smile. "Yes, I really can't wait. I can't tell you how excited I am to dance," she said.
When we entered with my friends, we were amazed by the sparkle of the hall. A large crystal chandelier hung from the ceiling and the atmosphere was filled with music
My friends and I danced, laughed and had fun until late at night. At the end of the night, we went out tired but happy. This was truly a great night. Being around my friends makes everything even more special.
Max, Leo and Emily agreed. “Friendship is a truly fascinating thing,” they added.
I thought I should write down in my diary the memories that made that night unforgettable. I realized once again how valuable friends are and the importance of every moment they spend together, and this night will remain such a precious memory that it will be kept in a special place in my diary

DAY 10 DREAM JOB
Dear Diary,
Today was one of those days that felt like it lasted forever and yet was over in a blink. It started with a pretty usual morning – cereal and a scramble to find my left sneaker (why do they always go missing?). School was okay, nothing too crazy in class, but at lunch, something interesting happened
We had this career day event where different professionals came to talk about their jobs. It was sort of boring at first, but then a young woman named Emma took the stage. She’s a wildlife photographer and, oh my gosh, Diary, she was incredible. She talked about her travels, the amazing places she's been, and the incredible animals she's photographed. She even showed us some of her work, and it was like stepping into a different world.
Listening to her made me think about what my dream job would be. I've always loved animals and taking photos, but I never really thought about combining those passions into a career. Seeing someone who's actually doing it made it seem possible for the first time. I felt this spark, like maybe, just maybe, I could do something like that too.
After school, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I even started doodling some of the animals she mentioned in my notebook during math class (shh, don’t tell Mr. Jones). When I got home, I told Mom and Dad all about Emma and how inspired I felt. They were really supportive and said we could look into some photography classes over the summer. Dad even mentioned a wildlife reserve nearby where we might be able to volunteer.
Right now, I'm lying in bed, feeling more excited about the future than I have in a long time. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll be the one up there, telling kids about my adventures and how I found my dream job. It's a nice thought to fall asleep to, don’t you think?
Goodnight, Diary.
Love,
Daisy
