The Little Mermaid

     The Little Mermaid is about a mermaid named Ariel who dreams 

about being a human. She sees the handsome Prince Eric who falls in 

love with Ariel's singing voice but couldn't see who was singing. Ariel 

tells her father she wants to be on land but her father gets mad and 

forbids her from ever going on land. Ariel visits the evil Ursula who 

gives Ariel her legs, but takes her voice. She can keep her legs if she 

gets Prince Eric to fall in love with her in three days. Prince Eric falls 

in love with Ursula, who has legs too, because she has Ariel's voice. 

Prince Eric finally realizes that he really fell in love with Ariel. But 

then Ursula turns into a giant Octopus and tries to destroy Prince Eric 

and Ariel. Prince Eric saves the day by destroying the evil Ursula, and 

Ariel gets to keep her legs and her voice. They lived happily ever 

after.
