Me and Mike scrambled down the hill, but Steve used his ninja parkour talents to skillfully jump and slide down the hill.
Eventually, we reached the blue and smushy grass. "Whoa," I said, looking around. "This place is cool." Mike nodded. "I... never thought something like this existed." Steve pushed past us. "I'm here for one thing."
He disappeared into some bushes and was gone. "Well, should we follow him?" Mike asked. I thought. "That might make him
really mad... sure! Let's do it." I replied. We crept through the bushes after him and tried to keep up with his ninja speed.
Mike and I eventually kept through to a small temple made of an orange material.
"What is this?" I asked. Mike shrugged. "I dunno."
"It's copper," Steve said, suddenly appearing behind us. "Ah! Steve, don't scare us like that." Mike said.
Steve didn't apologize, and instead pushed past us and strolled into the temple, and I almost laughed as his ninja uniform got
caught on a stray branch. We followed him to a room with a chest in the center. "Ooh, loot." I said. I went to open the chest, but Steve yelled, "Stop!"
I backed up and fell on my bum. "What?" I asked. He inspected the lid, then backed up. "Okay." He said.
"What? What did you check?" He sighed. "I was checking for traps."
"Oh." I stood up and strolled back over to the chest. I cracked the lid open and gasped when I saw its contents. A giant pile of gold with two items inside.
I opened it all the way and grabbed an item and examined it.
It was a diamond sword, enchanted so much it put netherite to shame.
I looked down at my sword on my belt. It was still way stronger than the diamond one, and I had promised Mike to get him a diamond sword.
Reluctantly, I handed him the sword. "Here," I said, "I promised you a sword."
He reached out and took the sword. His eyes glittered as he stared at it. "This... is... AWESOME!!! Thanks!" I smiled. "It's nothing."
I grabbed the other item, a emerald dagger, labeled the "Ninja's Dagger."
I sighed as I realized who this should go to. Steve knew as well, so the ninja walked over and grabbed it out of my hands without a word.
"I'm sorry, Luke," Mike said, holding out the diamond sword. "You can have it." I shook my head with a fake smile. "No," I said, "you need it more."
He agreed and put the sword in its sheath and put it on his belt. I started scooping gold into my inventory. "Hey!" Steve said.
"Calm down! Calm down. We'll split it."
As I continued to scoop gold into my inventory, my hand hit something hard. I smashed my finger in it and yelled out and stuffed it in my mouth, sucking it like crazy.
After a second, I got up and looked to see what I'd hit. There was a copper block in there. Annoyed, I yanked it out, but it was much heavier than I'd expected. I was shocked to see it was a giant copper hammer, labeled the "Warrior's Sledge."
"Whoa!" I immediately tried wielding it.

"Ugh..." I grunted, nearly dropping the heavy weapon. Despite my enhanced Warrior strength, it was still quite hefty. "Wow, this is cool," I remarked, getting used to its weight and attempting a practice swing. It was somewhat slow, yet the strike felt potent.
"That's a cool weapon," Mike commented. Steve agreed, "It suits you, and not only because of your Guide."
Prompted to check by my Guide, I glanced at my XP meter to
check and gasped in surprise. "I've gained a 500 levels already?"
Steve smiled, a rare sight. "Nice. You should change into a Class."
I nodded and concentrated on opening my Class screen. A screen appeared with 5 options.
Berserker
Werewolf
Power-house
Beast
Agility-mast
So, a Berserker does 15% more damage and has 50% more defense, but 45% less movement speed.
A Werewolf is your classic werewolf, on a full moon you turn into a Werewolf and have 50% more of everything, but it's only on a full moon.
A Power-house has 100% less armor and 50% less health but 200% more damage, and 15% faster movement speed.
A beast can summon different animals to help fight, based on the level of the ability (highest level is ravager) but have 25% less movement speed.
A Agility-master has 100% faster movement and attack speed, but 40% less attack and health.
So, I really wanted to do Power-house, but one hit from even the slightest of enchanted bows would one-shot me. (By the way, these stats add together with your previous ones.)
A Werewolf sounded cool, but it wouldn't help much unless I happen to be fighting on a full moon. A Berserker also seemed like a cool choice, but it wasn't really my style, all defense, you know?
So, that left one left, Beast. Combined with my added
