Chloe Grabbed her homework book from under her desk. 'Time to do some homework!' She Thought. She took her favorite pen and turned her lamp on. Then she started to write on the crunchy, soft paper. As she looked up at her window, she saw rain pouring down and stormy, grey clouds forming thunder. She smiled in glee, for she loved the rain pouring in front of a full moon. Suddenly, a loud 'BANG!!!' was made at the front door. it made Chloe flinch, so she walked to her bedroom door and opened it. 'Mum?' She asked. 'Dad?' Chloe walked forward into the silent, empty hallway. She was confused and slowly walked forward. All the lights were out, the power must have turned off. Chloe walked down the steep stairs, into an empty living room. She walked past the kitchen and dine, but her parents weren't there. 'weird.' She thought. Her mum was meant to cook dinner and her dad was sitting on the dine, signing something. But no-one was to be seen.

Chloe suddenly looked at the window next to the front door. Two glowing eyes were staring back at her. When the person realized Chloe saw her, it ran away, through the storm. 'WAIT!!!!' Screamed Chloe. She opened the front door and saw a black figure running away. 'STOP!!' Chloe yelled again. But the tiny, black figure didn't stop running. Chloe was about to step out the door, but suddenly she remembered it was thundering. But Chloe had to find her parents! Without a word, Chloe walked out, then turned it into running. Suddenly, the figure stopped and turned around to look at Chloe. Chloe kept running towards him. But suddenly, the figure pointed at the sky and looked at the full moon. Chloe got distracted then looked up too. When she looked back at the figure, he was holding a mirror and showing it to Chloe. Chloe looked, and realized she had VAMPIRE FANGS! Chloe was horrified and turned around, running towards her house.

As soon as Chloe arrived in her house, she slammed the front door and quickly went up the stairs into her bedroom. The thunder had stopped but it was still raining. Chloe jumped onto her soft, comfy bed and looked at her nails. They were partly black and super sharp and long. Chloe was shivering. She looked at her nails then looked out the window. Then she looked at her nails again. 'Am I turning into a Vampire?' She thought. Chloe jumped on her bed in a heap and hugged a stuffed bear. "Where are you mom and dad?" She asked herself. "I need you." And then she went to sleep.
