Once upon a time there were three turkeys who lived in the wild. Once a year they all went on a trip and it just so happened that whenever they came back it was time for the holiday they are best known for, Thanksgiving.

The three turkeys were named Timmy, Jimmy, and Bob. Bob was the smartest of the three and often knew how to hide when thanksgiving came around. Every couple of days the three turkeys would go to the field and talk about their yearly trip.

Where do you guys want to go this year?

This year it was Timmy's turn to decide and he wanted to go to see a volcano. Bob thought that wasn't a good idea though because Timmy was very clumsy. He suggested that they went somewhere colder this year like the arctic area. 

The three turkeys went into town to get their cold weather stuff and then went to the airport. Then they were at the arctic area and it was very cold. There, the turkeys thought they would be safe from any thanksgiving feast that they might be invited to.

The turkeys were hanging out with their snowman that they built, when all of a sudden Jimmy heard a person coming. They all thought, how could a person be out here? There were two people walking and they were so thrilled that there were turkeys that they invited them to their house. 

The turkeys ended up going with the people after giving it a thought, even though Bob tried to tell them that it was a bad idea. Timmy and Jimmy called him crazy, but he might not be so crazy after all. The family however was very happy because where they live it is super cold, so they don't often get turkey for thanksgiving.

While the turkeys were in their room and were about to leave for dinner, Bob was trying to convince them that they should leave. "Guys Thanksgiving is right around the corner and only a few days away. We should leave or something bad will happen!" Bob told Jimmy and Timmy.

But they didn't listen. They went to dinner and then sat in the living room for a while. There they talked, well Bob talked, and the turkeys didn't listen. Bob had some good reasoning too. Who knows why the other turkeys didn't listen. Bob was thinking "What would they do without me?"
