Once upon a time, there was a little baby named Evie. 

Evie grew in her tummy mommy's belly. Her tummy mommy, named Nicole, loved her so much but was very, very sick and couldn't take care of her. So, she needed to find a family who could love and care for Evie every day. 

One day, Mommy and Daddy got a phone call. Ring ring!

Hello?

The lady on the phone said, "There's a baby who needs a home. Her name is Evie, and she needs a family to take care of her."

Mommy and Daddy were so excited! They said "Yes! We would love to bring Evie into our family."

But Evie was far, far away in a place called Las Vegas. Before they could meet her, Mommy and Daddy talked to Evie on the computer with her foster parents, Teresa and Christer.

"Hi, Evie!" Mommy and Daddy waved at her. "We can't wait to meet you!"

Teresa and Christer took care of her for a little while until Mommy could fly on a big airplane to Las Vegas.

When Mommy finally got to Las Vegas, she picked Evie up and gave her a big hug! Then, together, Mommy and Evie flew back home to New Hampshire.
