
On a halloween day, year 1638, there was a little girl. What's so special about this little girl is that she can see ghosts. And on this very day, she woke up in the morning to see a ghost.
On the halloween night, this young girl, Jane Whatsurname, was out trick-or-treating with her mum and brother. Jane's brother was 14 years old and Jane was 9 years old. Her brother managed to convince her mum he could bring his gang with him as long they would stay together. Jane, though, didn't.
Jane was really upset on halloween night because
something just didn't feel right, and no one believed her except for her dead cat.
While trick-or-treating, when her mum was talking to a friend, paying no attention to the children, Jane's brother, Quinton, and his friends started to say mean things about Jane. "Oh, look at her! Such a poor sucker!" they said; "What kind of name is Jane? I read about a Jane. He was a nerd." they said; "I bet you, she's talking to a ghost right now. Preparing for her deathday!"
Then one of his friends said, "I dare you to go into the haunted house on the next street. Alone. Of course, if
you don't do it, it means you are a SCAREDY CAT!"
Jane didn't have a choice, so she carefully crossed the empty street and into the haunted house's driveway. There was a sign. It read Stranger, beware. Behind this door you will find nothing but despair. Jane looked back at the others, but there was only black smoke. Everywhere. The only thing she could see was the wooden, old, patched door in front of her. She had nowhere to go, so, without thinking, Jane opened the creaky wooden door.
Jane to a teeny tiny step forward and the door closed behind her. "Help!" she yelled, "Help! Someone open the door! Let me out. Open!" Jane yanked the handle, kicked the door, pushed it, but the old door wouldn't budge. Soon,
