Monsters love paintings so much, that they will stand in front of them all night, then, when the sun comes up, they will fly away, and go the art store to buy some art that they can stand in front of at home.

                               Double numbers

Monsters believe that double numbers are bad luck. The numbers repel the monster, and he dissapears into the night. 

                                      Moonlight

When moonlight shines on a monster; it is turned to stone.

                               Air fresheners

The outer parts of a monster; such as the "Nobamok" react dangerously with the ones in air fresheners, and the monster will magically be teleported to the nearest junkyard.  

Soft music makes a monster drowsy. It  falls asleep on the floor, and promptly, explodes. *Mozzart works best.*

Stuffed animals; a monster's mortal enemy. When a monster sees the unlimited adorableness of a stuffy, it feels sympathetic, it climbs out the window, and never comes back.
