Hi! My name is Lewis, and all my family love apples more than anything else. 

A long time ago, my grandfather planted a single apple tree in his backyard so we could enjoy delicious apples every day. 

It became a treasured part of our family, growing strong and tall over the years.

One sunny morning, Grandfather went out to check on the tree, looking for a ripe, sweet apple to pick. 

To his delight, he spotted a beautiful red apple shining at the very top of the tree. 

HOP     HOP

But when he tried to reach it, he quickly realized it was too high. 

He jumped as high as he could, but the apple was too high to reach. 

Determined to get the apple, Grandfather called out for help.

Grandmother, Grandmother, please, come and help me!

Grandmother came running. Together, they stood by the tree, thinking of how to get the apple. 

“I’ll climb on your shoulders,” Grandmother said. 

But they couldn’t reach the apple.

So, they decided to call father. My father is very tall and he can reach everything he wants

Father, father come and help us

Father got on top of grandmother, but they couldn’t take the apple either.

“Let’s get Mother!” they decided.  

Mother, mother, come and help us
