One crisp autumn morning in Orchardville, Appleman and Applebody noticed something strange—several apples were missing from the trees! Not fallen, but vanished without a trace...

"This is a very serious problem!" Appleman said adjusting his leafy cape. “We must  investigate this immediately!”

Applebuddy, rolling beside him, nodded. “Let’s follow the clues!”

They searched high and low until they found tiny trails of sticky apple juice leading into the shadowy woods.

Quietly, they followed the trail until they stumbled upon a group of mischievous squirrels. The squirrels had built an enormous fort made entirely of apples!

Appleman stepped forward. “Why are you taking apples from Orchardville?” he asked, trying to stay calm.

One squirrel squeaked nervously. “We didn’t mean any harm! Winter is coming, and we need food to survive.”

Applebody, always thoughtful, had an idea. “Why don’t we share some apples with you? But only the ones that fall naturally.”

The squirrels agreed happily, and Appleman and Applebuddy helped gather ripe apples that had fallen to the ground. Together, the apples and the squirrels formed a new friendship, promising to take only what was fair.

From that day on, Orchardville’s apples knew they could count on Appleman and Applebody not just to save the day but also to bring harmony to their little world.❤
