"Ashley!" My mom called. "I don't wanna go to school Mom!" I yelled up to her. "To bad, so sad!" Mom called. I got out of bed and walked upstairs. It was Friday, so the weekend would be tomorrow. I got ready for school and walked about 10 minutes to school.

Before I knew it, it was time for lunch. I said goodbye to my friends Jessica and Amanda and headed home for lunch. I walked home and my mom was already waiting for me outside. "Ashley!" She exclaimed. "Your Bagel Bites are waiting for you in the kitchen." Bagel Bites? Yum!

Ashley! C'mon!
School was over surprising quickly. "Finally home!" I yelled at last. I got my teeth brushed and hopped into bed. "Ah," I said. "Sleep at last . . . ."

I woke up pretty early for the weekend. My grandmother who I call "Nana" came over and guess what!? Here's what she said: "I have something for you, Ashley!" I almost screamed! It was a doll, but not just any doll, a Baby Heather doll! "Best doll ya' can get!" Nana exclaimed. "I'll go get the batteries . . . the many batteries . . . ." And she trailed off.

"Okay!" Mom said when she got back. "Let's turn this baby- literal baby- on!" She put the batteries inside Heather. "Up, Mama, UP!" Baby Heather said after we programmed her time and stuff. I thought Heather was SOOOO cool! In fact, I still do.

After a while, playing with Baby Heather got kinda boring, so I played with my Game boy. The game I played was Mario. But of course, my screen time was over before I knew it. I got out my trolls and played with Nana, who had just finished talking with my mom about who-knows-what!
