Once upon a time, there was a cat named Stampy, a bear named Lee, and a squid named, well, Squid.   The 

three were good friends who lived in a place called, “Stampy’s Lovely World”.   They were construction 

workers.   Stampy was the manager, Lee was Stampy’s BFF and #1 worker, and Squid was a lazy bum but was a 

good friend.   Stampy was smart and foxy, Lee was encouraging yet stern, and Squid was silly and naïve. 

Together, they built so many things from Stampy’s mansion, to a Funland, to a small-town neighborhood.

One morning, Stampy called Lee and Squid.   It was Saturday so nobody had to work.   Stampy suggested they go 

on a quest to find THE CAKE OF LUCKINESS!!!!!

They headed out into the desert following a map Stampy had purchased on ebay.   After two hours of 

searching, they found THE TEMPLE OF CAKE, HOME OF THE CAKE OF LUCKINESS!!!! They entered 

with extreme caution being careful not to trigger any traps.   Then, suddenly, a trapdoor opened under 

their feet and swallowed them up!   When they hit the bottom, they made a huge THUD!   In front of the 

gang was a long hallway with a big door at the end.   It was the only way they could go so the gang walked 

slowly and carefully down the hall.   Everyone was sweating with nervousness!

At the end of the hallway, the big doors opened revealing . . . . . . . THE CAKE OF LUCKINESS!!!!!!!!!!! 

Behind the cake were several tall, Greek pillars supporting a HUGE boulder sculpted in the shape of a 

face!   They were astonished at the sight!  

They had never seen a more delicious looking cake in their entire lives!   As they moved closer, their 

mouths began to water with anticipation! They stepped forward to take a bite of the cake but, just as 

they were leaning in for a bite, Squid stepped on a stone that tripped a sensor in the floor.   Before they 

could savor their victory, the ground began to rumble!  

Suddenly, the roof cracked, the pillars crashed to the ground, and the HUGE boulder rolled directly 

toward the gang!

Stampy screamed, “Get the cake!”   Lee grabbed the cake as Squid yelled, “RRRRUUUUNNNN!!!!”.   They 

ran as fast as they could go down the hallway!  

Fortunately, the collapsing building gave them an escape and by the skin of Stampy's whiskers, they 

made it to the exit before the entire TEMPLE OF CAKE, HOME OF THE CAKE OF LUCKINESS 

collapsed!   The ruins sank into the sand leaving nothing but a poof of dust.

The gang looked at each other and realized just how lucky THE CAKE OF LUCKINESS was because they 

were able to escape with their lives!   They hurried home to devour the delectable, delicious, delightful, 

CAKE OF LUCKINESS!   Squid couldn’t wait to get home and took a small bite as they began their trek 

home!

On the way, something strange began to happen to Squid – he started acting totally crazy!   He began to 

see things that weren’t there!   He talked about being in an ocean made of Kool-Aid!   He muttered about 

seeing Gummy Bear jellyfish, marshmallow sea stars, and snickerdoodle goldfish (the hippies of the sea)!  

He even thought his friends were fruit sourpunch Octopi! Lee asked, “Stampy, what’s happening to 

Squid?”

Stampy answered, “Squid must be hallucinating!   After all, he is a squid and squids need water.   We’ve 

been traveling through the desert without water for a long time!   We better get home quickly so we can 

get him into the water before we lose him for good or wor . . . hey, where is Squid anyway?”

Squid had wandered off into the dessert and was about to be bitten by a rattlesnake!   Squid thought he 

was about to be hugged by a Snickerdoodle goldfish (because they are the hippies of the sea, after all).  

Before the happy hug could happen, two fruit sourpunch Octopi grabbed two of his tentacles and 

dragged him to a popcorn reef!   He didn’t realize the two fruit sourpunch Octopi were really Stampy and 

Lee who had saved him from a rattlesnake bite and the popcorn reef was a ditch in the sand.   Stampy 

and Lee splashed their last bit of water on Squid and snapped him out of his crazy hallucination!  

The group continued home wanting even more to get out of the desert and devour the delectable, 

delicious, delightful, CAKE OF LUCKINESS!!!!

Finally, they made it home!   “What an exciting adventure!” Stampy exclaimed!   They set the table, turned 

on party music, put on party hats (except for Squid who always wears a party hat) and sat down to 

devour the delectable, delicious, delightful, CAKE OF LUCKINESS!!!! It was divine!

As soon as the gang was done eating, trouble began!   Squid stood up to leave and immediately all eight of 

his tentacles slipped on eight banana peels!   Before he even had time to figure out where eight banana 

peels came from, eight monkeys came out of nowhere and attacked Squid’s face!   The monkeys, 

screeching at Squid, were obviously upset that their bananas had been eaten and poor Squid was the 

unwitting victim!
