Hello my name is Omochao
I have gathered all the information Around my buddy Sonic the Hedgehog! this collection includes All the characters, all the levels, abilities and stuff like the Chaos Emeralds please enjoy!!!

Cream the Rabbit (クリーム・ザ・ラビット Kurīmu za Rabitto) is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. She is an anthropomorphic rabbit who is the daughter of Vanilla the Rabbit. She is also a friend of the Chao, especially to her dear Chao friend Cheese, who she takes with her everywhere. Originally living an idyllic life with her family, Cream had a chance encounter with Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends when the evil Dr. Eggman entered her world, and soon began joining them on their adventures. She is able to achieve flight by flapping her large ears.
Cream is very polite, well-mannered and pure, though she can be childish, shy, and naïve. She is full of curiosity and tries her best in everything she does. Though young, she is not afraid to stand up for herself and will always be there to help out her friends. Just as Tails is the sidekick of Sonic, Cream serves the same purpose for Amy Rose and Blaze the Cat.

Cream
Like Sonic and Silver, Cream had several early concepts as different kinds of animals. They appear to include a squirrel, cat, and red panda. It is likely that some aspects of these designs were reused for later characters like Marine the Raccoon and Sticks the Badger. Cream's name is a pun of the foods "vanilla cream" and "cream cheese" which underlines her relationships with Cheese and Vanilla the Rabbit.
Sonic Team created Cream specifically for Sonic Heroes in order to fill out the role as the Fly Type character for Team Rose. However, the team decided to introduce Cream prior in Sonic Advance 2 to make her more familiar with players and make Sonic Advance 2 feel fresher in comparison to Sonic Advance.
According to Sega, Cream was designed as a playable character for beginner players. As her offensive maneuver, Cream was given the Chao Attack since it would damage her image as a sweet girl if she would attack enemies herself.

Since her debut, Cream has been voiced by Sayaka Aoki in Japanese. The first English voice actor was Sarah Wulfeck, who voiced the character in Sonic Heroes and Sonic Advance 3, Rebecca Honig, who also voiced the character's counterpart in Sonic X, voiced the character from Shadow the Hedgehog to Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity and Michelle Ruff, voices the character from Sonic Free Riders to this day.

Cream is a small, cream-furred, anthropomorphic rabbit with cinnamon-brown eyes, a small brown nose, and a white muzzle. She has princeton orange markings around her eyes, on her head and at the tips of her long ears. She also has one long eyelash on each eye, and a short, fluffy tail that sticks out of her dress, though it is not always visible. For attire, she wears a simple sleeveless vermilion dress with a white collar and a light blue cravat, white gloves with a gold cufflink on each cuff, white socks, and vermilion and yellow slip-on shoes with gray soles. Her ears also have pink-colored canals, and are usually swiveled back and flop behind her head.
For the purpose of Extreme Gear racing, Cream wears an orange tank top with a yellow star in the center and a white stripe almost at the end, orange athletic shorts with a white stripe on each side, white gloves that possess visible lining with a dark gray band around each wrist, a yellow transparent visor with an orange strip, and orange and yellow shoes with a light gray band around each ankle, yellow straps with white fasteners, and gray soles.
For cold weathers, Cream wears a vermilion coat with two white pompoms in the front, and a gold button on each sleeve. She also wears a pair of black leggings, a light blue scarf with yellow tips, pink gloves, and pink and dark pink shoes with white cuffs and gray soles.

Because of her mother's teachings in the importance of manners, Cream is a princess-like figure; she is very polite, graceful and well-behaved. She is similarly well-spoken (often referring to people as "Mr." and "Miss", followed by their first name) and does what she is told. With her politeness being like second nature to her, Cream acts out her teachings with a cheerful smile on her face and a soft voice. Regardless of the situation and being used to getting what she wants, Cream never forgets her manners, even showing respect and offering a polite curtsy to her enemies, like Eggman, before attacking them with extreme prejudice.
Sweet-natured, Cream does not have a bad bone in her body. As such, she is honest, shy, innocent and has a generally happy attitude. She is similarly very considerate, charitable and friendly, always eager to lend her friends a hand whenever the situation calls for it and tries to be close to everyone she meets. For this reason, she is loved by everybody. Cream is likewise extraordinarily brave, courageous and noble for someone her age, not afraid to face danger for the sake of those she cares about. She is likewise full of curiosity and has a thirst for knowledge. She is also not afraid to voice her anger and disgust, but never does so in a rude way.

A spirited go-getter, Cream is very hardworking and always tries her best in everything she does. Because of her curiosity, Cream loves fun and adventures and is always eager to bravely charge off into the next one. However, she can also be somewhat rash, as she has been known to charge into adventures without really taking into account the dangers she can end up facing on her own, thus leaving her in situations beyond her capabilities. Because of her age and upbringing though, she is a little naïve and simple-minded at times. As such, she does not always see things right away and can accidentally speak out others' flaws or get herself in over her head when wrapped up in other people's problems. Despite this, she has a very grounded personality that helps her being the all-important restraint for her team. She can also be sensitive and childish, being prone to start crying over smaller things, misfortune or sadness in general. She also tends to scoff and pout childishly when people treat her like a little kid, especially when it is because she cannot go on an adventure.
Cream is one who enjoys the simpler things in life and loves spending most of her time outdoors playing with her friends or collecting flowers. Indoors, she enjoys watching TV.
Cream loves being happy and seeing others the same way, and hates seeing others sad. As such, she is a pacifist and detests violence. Even when beaten back by Chaos Gamma, Cream refused to fight back. However, she is willing to fight, but only to protect her friends if their safety is threatened, and there is no telling what she would do in such cases. That said, she would much rather spend her time picking flowers and eating ice cream.
"I hate fighting! I hate seeing my friends hurt and scared! And I hate how mean you are!"
Cream is a very sweet, lovely, polite and well-mannered girl. While still young with an attitude befitting her age, Cream is extraordinarily brave and noble. Noted to possess a lot of potential, Sonic himself has remarked that she is going to become an amazing person when she grows up. She has also been noted for her sensibility, her empathy towards others and her understanding. Notably, she stood up to Gemerl to protect some Zombots while convincing Gemerl to use non-lethal means against the Zombots by reminding Gemerl that they were just regular people forced to do evil things, which meant they deserved a chance to be happy, a situation that Cream noted was not all that different from Gemerl's. During the Metal Virus plague, she also helped the survivors by bringing them refreshments and comforting them in difficult times.
Though Cream never wishes to disobey orders from anyone, especially her mother, Vanilla, or her friends, she will do so extreme cases in the name of justice and what she feels is right. She is also shown to care deeply for other people and creatures, especially her family, as she broke down in tears when Cheese and Chocola and later Vanilla got infected with the Metal Virus and refused to leave them behind as they got converted into hostile Zombots. When challenged with intense hardship though, Cream's optimism can fade away.
While she dislikes violence, Cream will not hesitate to fight if she must, going so far as directly striking Zeena when the latter took control of Gemerl. She also hates cruelty, furiously condemning Zeena for her show of it during their battle in Sunset City.

On her own, Cream has demonstrated very little physical prowess and relies more on her friends in tense situations. However, she has been taught some combat skills, as seen during the Emerl incident, in order to help her friends. Also, with her faithful Chao companion Cheese at her command, Cream is a very capable individual in a fight, with the two of them having been able to defeat Dr. Eggman's various combat mechs on their own during their first adventure with Sonic. Also, if motivated or pushed, Cream can fight exceptionally better, as seen when she was able to defeat the Emerald Shard-empowered Chaos Gamma while she was stuck in the Gimme Shelter and had to defend Emerl. Emerl himself has also noted that Cream is not as weak as she appears to be.

Cream's trademark skill is her ability to achieve flight by flapping her two large ears as wings, allowing her to move freely through midair. While in flight, Cream can fly long distances and move around at super speeds, and knows how to keep up with even Sonic while in flight.
Like many of her friends, Cream can run at fast speeds, though she cannot run as fast as Sonic, she can fly very fast. While she still cannot match Sonic's speed, she knows how to catch up with quick-footed people like him using shortcuts. When running, Cream uses a unique hopping running style that makes it difficult for her opponents to track her. Despite her age, Cream is also quite strong; during the Neo Metal Sonic incident, she was able to carry her team through the air on her own. She is also rather durable, having survived going through atmospheric re-entry and then land on the ground unharmed. In addition, while not being as great an expert in the field as her friends, Cream is also shown to have great reflexes and acrobatic skills, enough to let her do unique tricks and movements while in mid-air, pull off various Spin Attack maneuvers at high speed, and grind on Grind Rails.
Cream is also able to perform the Spin Attack, a technique where she curls into a concussive ball or cutting disk and directs herself at her targets. With it, Cream can shred or burrow through just about any substance given enough speed. Adept in its usage, Cream can utilize several variants of the Spin Attack for both ground- and aerial maneuvers, including the Spin Dash, Spin Jump, and Homing Attack, though this is just a game mechanic and not actually canon.

When not using her Spin Attack-based maneuvers, Cream fights by working in collaboration with Cheese, commanding the Chao to attack the opponent for her in various ways. Their most basic collaboration attack is the Chao Attack, a technique where Cream commands Cheese to charge into her target. This allows her to attack from long distances almost instantly. Over time, Cream has utilized numerous variations of the Chao Attack using Cheese. These include arch, winder and salom combos using Cheese, centrifugal Chao spins to blow opponents away, Jump Attacks, various spinning attacks where Cheese circles around Cream to shield her from damage, full-charge bodyslams with Cheese, miniature twisters stirred up by Cheese, or even guards with Cheese that protect Cream from damage. Other maneuvers include the Chao Ball Attack where Cheese spins into a target and the Chao Spinning Attack where Cheese somersaults into a target.
As displayed during the second World Grand Prix, Cream is a talented Extreme Gear rider. During said event, she proved herself able to hold her own against some of the best Extreme Gear riders the world has to offer. While riding on an Extreme Gear, Cream can pull off highly advanced tricks and techniques with her Extreme Gear while moving through midair at incredible speeds. She is also able to ride her Extreme Gear through mid-air with great skill.
As an offspring of her good-hearted nature, Cream is able to heal herself using only the pureness of her heart. By flapping her two large ears, Cream has the ability to achieve flight. She is also surprisingly strong for her age, being capable of carrying her mother through midair with ease.
Like Sonic, Cream can attack enemies by curling into a concussive ball, allowing her to perform moves like the Spin Attack or the Spin Dash. Usually, however, she relies on Cheese to attack her opponents.

During the Emerl incident, Cream would utilize Omochao-based flash mines.
By harnessing different variants of Hyper-go-on from Wisps, Cream can use specific Color Powers to transform into a certain form, such as a drill, a laser or even a planet, each one possessing its own unique abilities. So far, Cream has been able to transform into the Cyan Laser, Yellow Drill and Indigo Asteroid. However, these transformations require a steady supply of Hyper-go-on to be maintained.

Cream often overdoes it when she is trying to act mature.
Though Cream has enhanced strength and is known to use moves similar to her friends, she is not a trained fighter and can easily be beaten by most people in combat. To add to this, Cream is a pacifist and is more likely to avoid a battle unless it is absolutely necessary.
Vanilla the Rabbit is Cream's mother and as such, she has unconditional love for her. Cream loves her mother very much and always puts her above her own safety. Vanilla is similarly very caring towards Cream and always puts her safety before her own. Though Vanilla has been known to be protective of Cream, she has allowed her to go on adventures before but under supervision. When Vanilla insists that Cream should not get involved in something too dangerous though, Cream does not opposes her and instead looks for other ways to help others.
When Vanilla became a Zombot during the Zombot apocalypse, Cream would break down and lose her optimism. As such, she would often walk around with her head held low and even give Sonic the cold shoulder. She also began to become increasingly embittered and disobedient, causing her to disobey Gemerl, who was the only member of her family that she had left. After Vanilla was returned to normal, Cream threw herself around her neck, crying in joy.

Cheese is Cream's beloved pet Chao, best friend, and closest constant companion, whom she behaves towards like an older sister. The two of them are rarely seen apart and are inseparable friends. The pair works extremely well together and even give each other courage. Also, if Cream is caught up in a conflict, Cheese will help get her out of a pinch.
Cheese is Cream's best friend and her life-long companion in both life and on their adventures. Cream and Cheese are practically inseparable from each other. In fact, Cheese cares so much for Cream that he will protect her from any threats. Cheese acts as Cream's main form of offense so that she does not have to resort to violence herself. Cheese and Cream are so well-tuned with each other, that Cheese's mood tends to reflect Cream's. Notably, Cream had a hard time leaving Cheese after the latter became a Zombot, and would later have nightmares over the experience.
During the Chao Races at the White Park Grand Chateau, Cream provided support for Cheese, effectively motivating him to victory.

Initially, Cream and Gemerl were enemies due to Gemerl's aiding of Dr. Eggman to prevent Cream and her friends from fixing the broken Earth. After Gemerl was finally defeated, Cream found his broken body on a beach. Deciding to have him brought to Tails to repair and reprogramming him, Gemerl became the guardian of Cream and her family in the process. However, at times, the robot can be a little overprotective of Cream. There would have Cream having to keep him in check. Cream really enjoys playing with Gemerl and going on adventures with him. When Zeena was hurting Cream, Gemerl got Zeena infected by the zombots and the Metal Virus, while also managing to save Cream, showing how much the robot cares for her.

Cream strongly believes that Gemerl has a good heart. As such, she believes that he should not left anyone boss him around. Her belief in Gemerl and the bond they have are in fact so strong that Gemerl was able to speak to her and even break free from Zeena's control. Also, when Cream fell victim to the Metal Virus, Gemerl took her to safety with him and promised to stay with her until the end.
Cream worries at times when Gemerl is too stubborn and takes his directives too far and making no exceptions to his guidelines. Notably, Cream had to reprimand him after he chased Sonic away and then began using excessive force against the Zombots, reasoning that they were only innocent people. While Gemerl has a hard time understanding Cream at times, Cream is always able to make him understand after a while. Cream also does not expect Gemerl to be perfect and does not want him to risk his life for her sake. Instead, she believes that they make a much better team when they are helping out each other and can thus get out of any crisis.

Amy Rose is Cream's best friend. They share a very close relationship like sisters similar to how Tails and Sonic are like brothers. They are both a part of Team Rose along with Big. During the Gemerl incident they were known as "Team Jubilee". Amy and Cream worry about each other and try to help each other. Amy is also very caring for Cream, as shows during the Black Arms incident she looks for Cream in Cryptic Castle and constantly tells Shadow that they must find her.
Despite their close relationship, Cream can sometimes get frustrated and annoyed by Amy's bossy and stubborn behavior and attitude. Additionally, Cream is not a fan of Amy's anger, and it is implied during the Sol Emeralds incident, that Amy occasionally gets angry with Cream. After describing Amy's obsession with Sonic "short-sighted", Amy says, "Cream, we better have a little talk..." and even took out her hammer when Cream replied, "Not again!", and proceeds to chase Cream with her hammer. Despite all this however, Cream still admires Amy and is always there to support her when she is needed.

During the Emerl incident, Cream looked upset when Amy was in battle with weights on in order to lose weight and to become stronger. During the second World Grand Prix, when Amy and Vector get into an argument, Cream tries to get in and break the argument, reminding them that they have to race. Despite not wanting to help Amy chase Sonic, Cream still sticks up to Amy and helps her out like a sidekick.
Amy is like a big sister to Cream. After being on several adventures together, they trust and care for each other very much. Cream has been inspired by Amy on several occasions and sees her as her hero. Though Amy is usually looking out for Cream, the latter has been able to encourage and inspire her enough to move her to tears, leading Amy to call Cream her own hero. Amy also tries to make sure that Cream gets a good example from others.

As Blaze the Cat was traveling alone and after she defeated Dr. Eggman for the first time, Cream had surprised her by hiding. Blaze was a little hostile, but Cream instead walked up towards her and invited her to her house, along with her mother, Vanilla. Blaze thought this to be calmly eerie about the way they would treat a stranger.
Cream then agreed to show Blaze around, starting their adventure, acting similar to Tails in the Sonic campaign. Throughout, Blaze was only focused on collecting all of the Sol Emeralds but as they travel, Blaze soon feels a bond, finally seeing Cream as a friend and not a guide. She was very worried about Cream's safety after she destroyed the Eggman robot that captured Cream and briefly thought she had been consumed in the explosion, causing her to frantically search the robot's wreckage before she found Cream had used her flying powers to escape the explosion.
When Blaze left to her own dimension, Cream was seen crying but was later comforted by Sonic. During the Time Eater incident, they are seen interacting with each other again at Sonic's birthday party.

Cream basically looks up to Sonic the Hedgehog as an older brother while she is like a little sister to him. They first met during the incident where Dr. Eggman kidnapped Cream and Cheese, which inevitably led to their meeting with Sonic when he came to rescue them. This led to a soft relationship between the two, with Cream having heard of Sonic's famous exploits and giving him a polite bow after he saved them. Afterward, Cream would accompany Sonic on his adventure in order to find her mother, whom Sonic ultimately saved from Eggman, much to Cream's eternal gratitude.
Cream is shown to highly respect Sonic; during the Blaze incident, Cream marked Sonic as the first one to look up for help to Blaze. This shows her high caliber of respect for Sonic. She likewise often calls him by the name of "Mr. Sonic", as her manners dictate. Cream also has great faith in Sonic, seeing him as strong, kind, and very good at adventuring; while she knows that the adventures they go on together can be scary, she holds the steadfast belief that everything will turn out for the better as long as Sonic is by their side.
Because she loves adventures and fun, Cream has been known to follow Sonic in hopes of him taking her along on his latest adventure. However, she tends to get pouty and upset when Sonic declines her offer to join him in order to protect her from needless danger, as she does not want him to treat her like a little kid. Nonetheless, Cream is willing to disregard Sonic's warnings and follow him into the heat of danger anyway due to her belief that Sonic can make anything end well.
Being inspired by Sonic's trials and battles, Cream originally wished to have the same adventures as him, which means saving the day and defeating evil robots of the Eggman Empire. As such, she tended to feel unfulfilled when she could not participate in the high-octane battles and critical moments Sonic handles. However, thanks to Sonic's words of wisdom, Cream has come to understand that the best kind of adventures to her means being both kind and strong. As long as Cream can handle the kindness, which, as an example, means helping those on the sidelines that get caught in the devastation of villains, while Sonic stands in for the strength, the two of them can still have the best adventures together.
During the Metal Virus plague, Cream heeded Sonic's advice to be brave after losing Cheese and Chocola. However, when Vanilla fell victim to the Metal Virus, Cream began to lose hope. Later, she showed concern when he did not reappear after disposing of the Metal Virus. When Sonic did return, Cream was happy and joined in on his group hug.

Cream and Tails are friends with each other. Throughout the games, there is not much contact between the two, but it is understood that they get along when they are shown throughout some story cutscenes.
The only time they have really interacted with each other is during the Sol Emeralds incident, Tails told Cream to escape from Blaze as she was a suspect. When describing Tails to Blaze, all Cream has to say of him is that he is "neat" and that he "also likes to hang around with Sonic" just like all their other friends. They also interacted during the second World Grand Prix in which Tails says that Cream's Extreme Gear was really good in the race to which Cream replied "Well, sure! That means a lot coming from you, Mr. Tails!".

"Oh. Shadow, thank you! But… Cheese wandered off into that castle… Shadow, you have to find him! Please!"
Cream and Shadow do not have an overly friendly relationship with each other, but he rescued her in Cryptic Castle when Amy requested Shadow to find her during the Black Arms incident. After that, Shadow tells both Amy and Cream that if they want to stay clear of trouble, they better stay away from Eggman. During the second World Grand Prix, when Shadow called E-10000B a deadweight, Cream defended the robot by saying "That's a terrible thing to call poor Mr. Robot."

Upon meeting Zeena for the first time, Cream addressed her with a courtesy, as her manners dictated. From the start, however, Cream found Zeena rude and cruel, and hated seeing her exhibit those traits. However, Cream did not hesitate to use force against Zeena to save Gemerl. Zeena, in turn, mocked Cream and taunted her for her kindness and willingness to be friends with others. She even went as far as to tell Cream that although she had the moral high ground, she was still not better than her.
While visiting the White Park Grand Chateau, Cream helped Rouge and Amy obtain spare parts for Omega. At the time, she did not like the way Rouge lied, although Rouge assured her that they would not hurt anyone. Rouge was also setting a bad example for Cream by giving her tips on how to successfully rob a hotel with rich guests.
"I won't let you hurt Miss Ariem!"
Ariem and Cream have a mother-and-daughter-like bond. Whenever Cream was sad, thinking that her efforts weren't enough, Ariem was there to cheer her up, even including Rouge and her other friends, showing Cream a sign of friendship and having a close friendship with Ariem. Even at the end, she wanted to visit Ariem in the Dreamscape which proves their close bond together.

"How do I end up in so many adventures? Gee... I don't know. I prefer to relax and go fishing. But when my friends are in trouble, I have to look out for them."
Big the Cat (ビッグ・ザ・キャット Biggu za Kyatto) is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is a large, purple, anthropomorphic cat who lives deep within Mystic Ruins. Though imposing of stature, Big is gentle, calm and easy-going, though somewhat dim-witted person with a heart of gold. He also possesses incredible strength and toughness that makes him one of Sonic's strongest allies. He is also an expert fisherman.
Big spends most of his time fishing in tranquility with his best friend, Froggy. Not one for going on grand adventures, Big prefers his peaceful and quiet lifestyle in the jungle. However, should his friends be in danger or in need of his aid, Big will not hesitate to leave his home to help them out and protect them in any way he can such as when he joined up with Team Rose.

Big
Big was created for Sonic Adventure. His inclusion in the game was quite unusual, as Sonic Team wanted a character that would break up the action from all the other characters. They decided to present the players with fishing gameplay, since they had water in the game.
Shun Yashiro voiced Big in both Sonic Adventure and Sonic Shuffle. Takashi Nagasako, who had portrayed the character in Sonic X, replaced Yashiro and has voiced the character in the games since Sonic Heroes.
According to Ryan Drummond, he stated that he also auditioned for every role in Adventure while auditioning for the role of the titular protagonist. Sega liked his interpretation for Big, but the role was eventually given to Jon St. John instead. St. John would be the character's first English-language voice actor, voicing him from Adventure to Heroes. Oliver Wyman, who had voiced the character in Sonic X, replaced St. John and only voiced Big in 2010's Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing before the 4Kids Entertainment cast would be replaced by the Studiopolis cast. Kyle Hebert replaced Wyman in Sonic Free Riders onward. Wyman would reprise his role as the character in Lego Dimensions's Sonic the Hedgehog Level Pack. In Sonic Prime, Big was voiced by Canadian Ian Hanlin.

Big is a very large and burly anthropomorphic cat with the majority of his body covered in purple fur with dark violet stripes running up his arms and long tail with the end frayed. His feet are covered in dark violet fur up to his ankles as well as the outer tips of his large triangular ears, on his head and around his eyes. He possesses white fur that covers his torso, upper chest and muzzle protruding outwards, and inner ears. He also has black eyes with pale yellow sclera, and a small black nose.
His preferred attire consists of tan gloves, brown sandals with silver buckles, and a brown belt with a gold buckle. He usually keeps his fishing rod with him.

Big is a kind, carefree and laid-back cat with a friendly personality. He cares a lot for his friends, especially Froggy. He enjoys fishing leisurely and brings his rod with him wherever he goes. He is often giddy and optimistic, especially when with his friends. However, he is not exactly the brightest bulb in the box, as he has a short attention span and has a hard time understanding even the simplest of metaphors. Similarly, important things sometimes pass right through his mind. This does not mean Big is stupid, however. Quite comfortable with himself, Big acknowledges himself that he is not very intelligent without being burdened by it. In fact, he is quite surprised himself when he realizes that he is right in an argument. In addition, his simple way of thinking lets him see important points that others, in their considerations of more complicated matters, have overlooked. For example, he genuinely believed Dodon Pa was a good person while everyone else believed him to be evil because he knew that Dodon Pa worked with Wisps, who only like nice people.
Despite his shortcomings, Big is loyal and reliable to his friends, and always sees the best in those he likes, even when others try to convince him otherwise. He also dislikes how many people worry about so many little things and them hurrying about all the time, which is most likely why he chose to live in the Mystic Ruins jungle without technology.

Big encourages others and is not the selfish type. Big has an ability to stay calm in any situation, even when he has lost Froggy. Big is amazed by a lot of things and is almost always upbeat, even when he is in danger. One of the only instances of the cat losing his upbeat nature came during the Neo Metal Sonic incident, when he momentarily lost hope of finding Froggy and sadly suggested going home, before Amy rekindled his spirit.
In the IDW Comics, Big is a simple cat whose basic needs are limited to rest and fishing. He rarely leaves his house to avoid exposing himself to the dangers lurking in the outside world. Big is not very smart, and important things often go over his head. This does not mean that Big is stupid but that he processes the facts more slowly. Sometimes, he also misinterprets things and is not aware of the threats that surround him.
Big is very concerned when his friend Froggy goes missing and cannot focus on anything other than finding him. However, this is also a positive characteristic of him, since he shows his great determination and care for friends.
Although kind and without much combat expertise, Big is still quite strong and powerful. Classified as a Power Type and said to possess prodigious strength, Big has enormous superhuman power, enough to lift and walk around with cars and boulders much larger than himself with ease. He can similarly smash large boulders and damage tough Badniks using only brute strength, and even knock away objects with enough force to make them ignite fire. By utilizing his large grid as well, Big can deliver shockwave-creating bodyslams.
While having not demonstrated notable speed and agility, Big is still rather fast and nimble for his size by normal standards. During the Neo Metal Sonic incident, he demonstrated enough speed to let him keep up with even Amy Rose. In addition, Big is shown to have passable reflexes and acrobatic skills, enough to let him do unique tricks and movements while in mid-air, pull off various Spin Attack maneuvers at high speed, and grind on Grind Rails with ease.
Big is also able to perform the Spin Attack, a technique where he curls into a concussive ball or cutting disk and directs himself at his targets. With it, Big can shred or burrow through just about any substance given enough speed. Adept in its usage, Big can utilize several variants of the Spin Attack for both ground- and aerial maneuvers, including the Spin Dash, Spin Jump, and Homing Attack.

Big is a highly skilled fisherman as well, being able to catch just about anything with his trusty rod. Notably, he has been able to catch underwater creatures ranging from regular fish of various shapes and sizes to hostile Badniks and even Froggy while he was under the influence of Chaos. Once, he was even able to catch Cream in midair with his lure while Cream was caught in a strong wind.
Big is a very capable swimmer. During the Chaos incident, he displayed enough swimming skills to reach far depths, move through underwater grottos, and even walk on the bottom of pools like he was walking on dry land. He also has an excellent sense of smell; during the Chaos incident and the Neo Metal Sonic incident, Big was able to catch Froggy's sense on the Egg Carrier and the outskirts of Bullet Station, respectively, while the latter was (seemingly) held captured deep within said locations.
Despite his nonurban habitat, Big has surprisingly good skills when it comes to piloting different vehicles; notably, he managed to pilot Tails' Tornado 2 through a storm and land it safely despite not knowing the first thing about it. Additionally, as seen during Dodon Pa's Grand Prix, Big also has excellent skills when it comes to driving and racing in racecars like the Frog Cruiser.
Big possesses superhuman strength, being able to lift heavy crates with ease or blow opponents away with a single strike from his Fishing Rod. Big also has enhanced durability and is not easily toppled by strong attacks from others. For example, as a Zombot, Big was struck by Amy's hammer but this had little effect on him. Though Zombots have high durability, they have been known to be at least knocked backward by such hits from Amy's hammer, much unlike Big.

Big's main tool is his trusty fishing pole and its lure, which he always keeps on him. While simple in design, it is a quite capable tool in Big's hand. For example, it is durable enough to be used as a staff/club in combat, allowing Big to destroy or otherwise damage his opposition with a single wrack of his pole. Big can also use his pole's lure as a weapon by throwing it at foes from afar and destroying them or catch and pull in objects (other than fish) from a distance. Other offensive moves Big can pull off with his fishing pole is his Big Fishing technique, where Big replaced the lure on his pole with either a flaming lifebuoy, a flaming buoy, or a flaming iron ball and swings it around to knock surrounding opponents into submission. For traversing the environment, Big can as well use his pole's built-in umbrella to glide through mid-air by folding it out during mid-fall.

Big uses a Fishing Rod to participate in his fishing activities. Due to the durability of the Fishing Rod, Big can use it as a melee weapon for crushing blows. He can also use it to tie up his enemies. Big also has a lifebuoy that allows him to float on water.

By harnessing different variants of Hyper-go-on from Wisps, Big can use specific Color Powers to transform into a certain form, such as a drill, a laser or even a planet, each one possessing its own unique abilities. So far, Big has been able to transform into the Cyan Laser, Yellow Drill, and Indigo Asteroid. However, these transformations require a steady supply of Hyper-go-on to be maintained.

Big's main weakness is that he is not the brightest bulb in the bunch. In addition, he is slow in many ways; despite being fast enough to keep up with Amy, he is slower than most other playable Sonic characters.

"No, Froggy doesn't talk. I just understand what he's thinking and feeling. He's so lively! He's always running off and getting us into trouble. Huh? How can I be sure I'm finding the same frog every time? I just know in my heart!"
Froggy is Big's companion frog and best friend. The cat seems to care deeply for his amphibian companion; whenever the latter goes missing, Big is willing to go to great lengths to find him. They both like to hang out in the Mystic Ruins. He also worries about Froggy and is ready to protect him from any threats. When Froggy goes missing or runs away, Big begins to search for him with steadfast determination all over the world if he has to, taking a look wherever he can and double-checking to make sure he was right.

Despite never officially meeting Amy Rose during the Chaos incident, the two apparently befriended each other before the events of the Neo Metal Sonic incident and have remained close friends ever since. As the leader of Team Rose, Amy has shown to willingly assist Big in finding Froggy and Amy comforted Big whenever he became sad and lonely over the loss of his best friend.

Big is shown to be very protective of Cream the Rabbit. Big and Cream first appear together in Sonic Heroes with Big saving Cream from being blown away by a strong gale. Big also shows hostility towards Team Chaotix when Espio demands that Cream forfeit Cheese.

Yeah, I know Sonic. What a swell guy! One time, Dr. Eggman kidnapped Froggy and fed him to a water-monster. Sonic helped me rescue him. True story!
Big and Sonic the Hedgehog are good friends. They both met during the Chaos incident, where Sonic helped Big save Froggy from Chaos 6 and Doctor Eggman. During the Neo Metal Sonic incident, Big had a brief struggle alongside the rest of Team Rose with Team Sonic, thinking they knew the whereabouts of Froggy and Chocola, but by the end of the game, Big was supporting Team Sonic to defeat Neo Metal Sonic.
While their interactions aren't complex, Sonic has a good impression on Big, to the point that during the Starfall islands incident, Sonic's mind subconsciously created a copy of Big inside Cyber Space that helped him relax in Fishing Spots. However, this is only a possibility suggested by Sage.

"The servers are the 7 Chaos. Chaos is power... Power enriched by the heart. The controller is the one that unifies the Chaos."
Tikal (ティカル Tikaru) is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. She is the spirit of an anthropomorphic echidna and, in her mortal form, the only daughter of Pachacamac, the last chieftain of the Knuckles Clan, which resided in what is now the Mystic Ruins 3,000 years ago.
In her youth, Tikal lived in a period of war where she opposed her father's warmongering ways, though she was ignored by Pachacamac himself and his supporters. During this time, she befriended the local Chao and their guardian, Chaos. When Chaos went on a destructive rampage after her father attempted to steal the Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald, Tikal stopped Chaos by sealing him inside the Master Emerald with her own spirit. In the present era, Tikal was released when Dr. Eggman planned to use Chaos to take over the world, where she aided Sonic the Hedgehog and his allies. After Chaos was calmed, Tikal left with him to live in peace.

Tikal
Tikal was once a peach-orange-furred anthropomorphic echidna girl with a peach muzzle, a small black nose, cobalt-blue eyes with two medium-length eyelashes on each one, dreadlock-like spines around the sides and back of her head and a medium-sized, tri-crooked tail. During those years, she wore a white tank top which revealed her midriff and a traditional tribal skirt with beige, green, and red diamond patterns. As a sign of her lineage, she wore a gold armlet on her right arm, a gold necklace and a tiara-like headband atop her forehead, both of which were decorated with triangles and a light blue gemstone in the center. Her white gloves were adorned with thick, cobalt-blue bracelets around her wrists, and she also wore white-strapped sandals. Her dreadlocks and left arm were also wrapped with similar white bandages.
In her spiritual form, she appeared either as a bright pink will-o-the-wisp-like orb of light which hovered in the air, or as a full-bodied apparition resembling her once-physical self.

Tikal was born over 3,000 years before the Perfect Chaos incident as the only daughter to Pachacamac, a member of the family leading the Knuckles Clan. With her mother passing away after her birth, Tikal was raised by her peace-loving grandmother, then the chief of her clan, who was knowledgeable in their clan's legends surrounding the Chao, the Master Emerald and the Chaos Emeralds. Under her tutorage, Grandma passed all her teachings, including an old mantra, and pacifistic beliefs onto Tikal. In turn, Tikal loved her grandmother dearly and cherished everything she was taught, making her a peace-loving pacifist, and she would often contemplate her teachings. After Grandma passed away, Tikal's father took over and directed their clan into a series of violent conquests of the neighboring countries. Standing by her grandmother's ideology, Tikal opposed her father's ways. However, Tikal held onto the hope that they would one day understand each other.
One day during the period of war, Tikal was at the Altar of Emerald where she discovered the Chao. While her presence frightened the Chao at first, Tikal quickly gained their trust with her gentle nature. This garnered the attention of the Chao's guardian, Chaos, who revealed himself to Tikal. Chaos initially startled and frightened Tikal, but she soon realized his gentle nature and his duty to watch over the Emeralds and the Chao at the altar. Over time, Tikal befriended Chaos and the Chao, as she would spend most of her time near the altar. Eventually, Tikal was allowed entrance to the inner altar by Chaos, having earned the guardian's trust. There, she saw the Chaos Emeralds and discovered the Master Emerald, where she had the revelation about how the Master Emerald controlled the Chaos Emeralds after understanding her grandmother's mantra.
Tikal soon after learned that her father planned to raid the altar and steal its Emeralds to gain the power to destroy the enemies threatening their survival. Appalled by the idea and the death it would cause, Tikal begged her father not to do this, insisting that plundering and killing was the wrong way to peace, but to no avail. Tikal returned to the altar to warn Chaos and beseeched him to take the Chao to safety, but neither he nor the Chao could leave the altar. Tikal thus promised to talk to her father again and assured the Chao she would not fail them.
Despite Tikal's attempts, Pachacamac lead his warriors in a brutal attack on the altar. Amidst the attack, Tikal and the Chao blocked Pachacamac's path to the Emeralds, where Tikal refused to move and begged them to stop. Knowing her people would never get enough, she tried to reason to them that greed were the enemy. However, Tikal's words were ignored and she was knocked unconscious as Pachacamac and his men trampled over her to storm the altar.
When Tikal came to, she saw the horrible destruction that had befallen the area; when Pachacamac and his men attacked, they angered Chaos, who used the negative energy of the Chaos Emeralds to become Perfect Chaos and start a rampage where he had killed Pachacamac, his men and nearly the entire Knuckles Clan. Realizing that Chaos was now blind with rage and would not stop his rampage until he had destroyed the world, Tikal turned to the Master Emerald's aid and recited her grandmother's mantra, pleading the gem to stop Chaos. Using her spirit as a catalyst, Tikal sacrificed her body to strip Chaos of his power and seal him away within Master Emerald with her own spirit.

Over the millennia, Tikal's spirit coexisted inside the Master Emerald with Chaos, until it was shattered by Dr. Robotnik, who sought to use Chaos to conquer the world. Tikal assumed a spirit form upon her release. Realizing Chaos would resume destroying the world once he got all the Chaos Emeralds, Tikal sought out others who could stand up to the doctor and hear her warning and cry for help.
She eventually found six heroes: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Big and Gamma; whom she appeared before in spirit form to assist them and bestow visions of the past to show the cataclysm threatening them. To Knuckles, she showed the result of her failures to persuade Pachacamac and Chaos; to Tails, she shared her ancient prayer; to Gamma, she confined her worries about the Chao; to Amy, she showed her meeting with the Chao and Chaos; to Big, she showed the importance of the Emeralds; and to Sonic, she showed the fall of her clan (this was shown to both Sonic & Knuckles in Sonic X's adaptation of Sonic Adventure's events). Throughout the game, she can also be consulted for advice on where to go and what to do next if any of the characters find her in her will-o-the-wisp-like orb of light form and make contact with her. Additionally, she will also explain how to use power-ups that each of them find.

Despite Tikal's best efforts, Chaos became Perfect Chaos again and began destroying Station Square. There, Tikal appeared before Sonic in physical form and told him about Chaos' sadness and anger. As Perfect Chaos then released the Chaos Emeralds, having drained them of their negative energy, Tikal pleaded Sonic to seal Chaos away in the Master Emerald again to prevent the destruction of the world, but Sonic refused since he knew if they did that, Chaos' anger would never vanish, and he would just be trapped forever with it. Sonic's friends then arrived with the rest of the Chaos Emeralds and Sonic used their positive energies to transform into Super Sonic and defeat Perfect Chaos, neutralizing his anger in the process. Tikal then showed Chaos that the Chao he had protected were still alive and were cared for. Thanking Sonic and his friends for their help, Tikal disappeared with Chaos to live their lives in peace. Though their whereabouts are unknown, it is presumed that Tikal and Chaos are still watching over the Chao.

Being raised under her grandmother's teachings, and having inherited her mother's positive nature, Tikal is a gentle, fair-minded and kind-hearted pacifist with a peaceful temperament. She severely opposes greed, violence, brutality and fighting, and wishes for everything to be in peace, harmony and tranquility. She is very devout to her teaching, never once resorting to needless violence, and will try to resolve conflicts by trying to sway people away from their destructive paths peacefully. While she abhors fighting though, Tikal is also a strong defender of peace and is not above helping others fight to protect the world and its people. She is as well a proud warrior of her tribe, implying she will fight herself when necessary, but only for the right reasons.
Tikal is very caring, empathetic and compassionate about the people around her, being willing to put her own well-being on the line to keep needless harm from befalling the innocent, and is beloved by all. She is similarly very non-discriminatory, never treating anyone with prejudice, and is good at making friends with peaceful creatures; though she was frightened by Chaos at first, she found a way to befriend the foreign creature. Also, even when her entire warlike clan disapproved of her ideals, Tikal loved her people deeply and tried to talk them out of their violent ways and find a way for them to come to an agreement. When she failed to stop her clan's destruction, Tikal became determined to never let anyone relive such a tragedy. Also, despite Chaos' corruption and slaughtering of her clan, she still considered him her friend, showing a deep care and loyalty towards her friends.
While Tikal only wants everyone to live in peace, she tends to have moments of oversight while trying to achieve it. She often chooses the quickest path that will restore immediate peace, rather than what might restore harmony in the long run and be for the greater good of everyone involved. Still, Tikal is well-meaning in her intentions and she is quick to forgive and forget.
Despite her pacifism, Tikal is a trained warrior of the Knuckles Clan, meaning she possesses combat skills befitting her tribe. She is also noted to be very quick on her feet, surpassing the running speed of Knuckles and Rouge. In addition, she can climb, glide, and burrow.
Tikal is one of the few known people who is able to access and utilize the powers of the Master Emerald on her own by using the mantra of her grandmother, allowing her to harness its various abilities. She is also the only known person so far who is able to understand Chaos' language.
After she transcended into a spirit, Tikal gained a variety of mysterious spiritual powers. These powers include assuming the discorporate form of a floating and glowing will-o-the-wisp-like orb, which can move very fast, and even spiritually assume her physical form if need be. She can also levitate and teleport herself and others, and harness her spiritual power for special attacks, such as creating earthquakes, lightning bolts, and flashes of light to blind opponents.
A prominent spiritual power of Tikal's is the ability to temporarily transport people's minds back in time. During these "visions", people can physically interact with their surroundings in the past and even bring things from there back to the present, such as when Tails brought back the Rhythm Badge. While people's minds are visiting the past, their bodies enter a trance-like state and can even move on their own accord until their minds return.

By harnessing different variants of Hyper-go-on from Wisps, Tikal can use specific Color Powers to transform into a certain form, such as a drill, a laser or even a planet, each one possessing its own unique abilities. So far, Tikal has been able to transform into the Cyan Laser, Yellow Drill and Indigo Asteroid. However, these transformations require a steady supply of Hyper-go-on to be maintained.

Tikal's weakness is that she is not as physically strong as some of the characters, as shown in most media. In Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, she throws short punches and cannot sense Emerald Shards as well as the other treasure hunters.
Tikal's pacifism also makes her reluctant to use violence, even when she is threatened. She made no attempt to defend herself against Pachacamac's men.

Tikal first met Chaos when he appeared before her during her visit to the Altar of Emerald. She had managed to befriend the local Chao there with her kind-hearted nature, which attracted the attention of Chaos, the guardian of the Chao. Tikal was at first startled by Chaos but the pair managed to become friends over time. Tikal was thus one of the only people Chaos trusted enough to visit the Altar of Emerald any time she wanted and actually see the Master Emerald. The young echidna did have her doubts that Chaos actually trusted her, but he assured her that he did. Due to her care for Chaos, the Chao, and the preservation of the Master Emerald and Chaos Emeralds, Tikal warned Chaos about her father Pachacamac's upcoming raid of the altar.

Chaos refused to leave as he still had to protect the Chao and the Emeralds. Later, when Chaos had used the negative energy of the Chaos Emeralds to wipe out Pachacamac and his men as Perfect Chaos, Tikal sacrificed her body to seal her spirit and Chaos inside of the Master Emerald to quell his fit of rage. Thousands of years later, the Master Emerald was destroyed by Dr. Robotnik so that he could use Chaos in order to conquer the world. Tikal knew Chaos would continue his blind rage and attempt to destroy the world once more. Despite her best efforts to stop Chaos, the "spirit of water" became Perfect Chaos once more. She asked Sonic the Hedgehog to seal Chaos in the Master Emerald like she had done before, only for Sonic to refuse as his anger would never vanish and he would be trapped with it forever. Sonic instead used the positive energy of the Chaos Emeralds to become Super Sonic to defeat and neutralize Chaos' anger. Tikal reunited with her friend, showing Chaos that the Chao he had cared for long ago were still alive and well. The pair then disappeared to parts unknown to live their lives in peace.

Tikal had a very good relationship with her Grandma, always accepting her more passive ways. Grandma passed all her teachings to Tikal, including an old mantra and the legends of Chao, the Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald. After her death, Tikal still stood with her grandmother's ideology, even though the clan changed due to her son, Pachacamac, leading them down a more violent path.
As one of her parental figures, Tikal had a general sense of respect for Pachacamac. However, due to their contrasting personalities and ideologies, Tikal had found it difficult to reason with her father in several aspects. She heavily disagreed with Pachacamac's thoughts that plundering and killing were the only option to peace, but due to her care for her father, she simply pleaded with him to stop his ways. Due to his stubbornness and strong belief in what he thought was best for his entire clan, and not just Tikal, he ignored his daughter's protests for peace, leaving their relationship strained. Ultimately, this resulted in Tikal and some Chao blocking the Knuckles Clan's path to the Altar of Emerald, telling them that greed was their enemy. Pachacamac still ignored Tikal, and with his group, still attempted to raid the altar. This angered Chaos, sending the "spirit of water" to wipe out most of the group. Tikal later saw that the ongoing disaster, realizing that her father was killed.

Tikal The Echidna
"You know nothing, fool! It's Chaos, the God of Destruction!"
Chaos (カオス Kaosu) is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is an immortal mutant Chao and a godlike figure who serves as the guardian who was worshipped by the Knuckles Clan prior to their negative turn of events, as well as the Chao and their friends. His body is composed entirely of concentrated energy, and he has the ability to change form and evolve with each Chaos Emerald that he absorbs.
The first known guardian of the Chaos Emeralds, Chaos watched over a Chao colony in ancient times. However, 3,000 years ago, an attack from the Knuckles Clan led to him being consumed by a fury that threatened to destroy the world, but he was sealed in the Master Emerald before he could succeed. In recent times, he was released by Dr. Eggman for a plot to conquer the world. Despite initial cooperation though, he eventually revolted and tried to destroy the world. Fortunately, he was soon calmed by Sonic and departed for heaven in peace. Since then, Chaos has only re-emerged in times of great crisis.

Chaos
For Sonic Adventure, Sonic Team wanted to introduce a new enemy that was bigger and separate from the already-established main antagonist, Dr. Eggman, an enemy which could match up to the impact that Sonic Adventure was going to make by being a bigger Sonic game than any of those before it, namely by taking advantage of the technological jump from the Sega Mega Drive to the Dreamcast. Takashi Iizuka in particular wanted to design an enemy that had not been possible until now due to the limitations in technology. With Iizuka wanting something transparent and liquid since the technology now allowed it, the team came up with Chaos. Chaos was designed to impress the players and appear both bigger than Sonic and much more powerful than any enemy before him. It was for these reasons that the team wanted Chaos from the beginning and introduced him as the first boss of the game in order to emphasize the greater scale of Sonic Adventure in comparison to previous games.
When the team first designed Chaos, they presented the drawing to Yuji Naka, who was so impressed with the idea that he approved of him on the spot.

Chaos is a lifeform with a body made of water-like energy. There are numerous forms he can take, although his most recognizable one is his Chaos 0 state. In this state, Chaos possesses a humanoid form with disproportionally long arms and legs compared to his torso. He has thick forearms with three large fingers on each hand, a short stump for a tail, and long feet with two large toes each. He also has two fin-like protrusions on the back of his head, sharp flaps on each side of his head, and a tall bulge on top of his head. He also possesses no facial features, except for two pupil-less lime green eyes. Lastly, he has a round pink brain inside his transparent head, with a brain stem on the bottom.

Said to have a warm heart, Chaos is primarily a very loving and gentle creature who cares dearly for the Chao he protects. Mainly watching over the Chao as an inert pool of water, he only becomes active in times of danger, and only attacks when the Chao needs protection. However, he is noted to have a bad temper; after seeing his sacred precincts being invaded by Pachacamac and his men, Chaos became filled with anger and sadness.
Following the attack on his precinct three thousand years ago, Chaos became corrupted by his own negative emotions, causing him to forsake his peaceful and passive ways and become a rage-filled monster driven only by his own immeasurable anger. His fury proved to be so great that he wanted nothing more than to destroy the world out of spite, even after getting revenge on those responsible for angering him in the first place. In his corrupted state, Chaos remained eternally determined and vengeful, as his desire to bring the world to ruin persisted even after three millennia. However, after Super Sonic neutralized it, Chaos returned to his previous peaceful and gentle demeanor from then forth.
Chaos is an incredibly strong creature whose power is so great that he is revered as a deity. Even at his weakest, he is said to possess immeasurable powers.
"Hear this, Sonic! Chaos' strength increases every time I give him a Chaos Emerald. All he needs is 7 Chaos Emeralds to become invincible!"
Chaos possesses the ability to absorb the energy of the Chaos Emeralds, allowing him to achieve different transformations with every Emerald that he absorbs, increasing his strength in turn. In addition, he is an immortal being.
Chaos 0 is Chaos' most basic form, assumed when he is possession of no Chaos Emeralds. In this form, Chaos commands limited hydrokinetic shapeshifting, allowing him to stretch his limbs, morph its body parts, and liquefy himself into a puddle of water. He is also bulletproof due to his watery composition and possesses earthquake-inducing super strength. He can also harness the power of spirits and elementals to perform great physical feats (like several tens meters tall leaps), execute strong attacks, and even heal himself. He also has hydrokinetic powers that lets him emit mysterious ripples and even freeze the air around his foes. In addition, he can climb, glide and breathe underwater.
In addition to his wide skillset, Chaos 0 also has very strong combat skills, enough to take on Knuckles the Echidna, who is master of martial arts.

Chaos 1 is the form Chaos takes after absorbing the negative energy of the purple Chaos Emerald. In this form, Chaos increases in size and mass, and he gains a line of bones that travel down his right arm into his hand.
Most of Chaos 1's abilities are unknown. Although he retains his power of hydrokinetic shapeshifting, allowing him to liquefy himself into a puddle of water.

Chaos 2 is the form Chaos takes after absorbing the negative energy of two Chaos Emeralds. In this form, Chaos becomes larger and more muscular with a hunched posture, bones in both his large arms, and vertical hammerhead fins.
As Chaos 2, Chaos is much stronger, and his hydrokinetic shapeshifting has evolved significantly, allowing him to turn into a large ball, liquefy over a wide area and split into hundreds of balls. He can also stretch his limbs over a wide range and generate a force-field around itself.

Chaos 3 is the form Chaos takes after absorbing the negative energy of three Chaos Emeralds. In this form, Chaos' appearance is unknown.
Most of Chaos 3's abilities are unknown. although he retains his power of hydrokinetic shapeshifting, allowing him to liquefy himself into a puddle of water.

Chaos 4 is the form Chaos takes after absorbing the negative energy of four Chaos Emeralds. In this form, Chaos looks like an aquatic creature, similar to a shark, with arm-like fins, a dorsal fin, and a blunt horn. He also has bones in his tail section and arms.
As Chaos 4, Chaos' hydrokinetic shapeshifting has evolved further, allowing him more offensive usage of his shapeshifting. he also has new abilities to match his new form, including more control over water and energy wave emission. He is also a quick and nimble swimmer and is able to levitate in the air.

Chaos 5 is the form Chaos takes after absorbing the negative energy of five Chaos Emeralds. In this form, Chaos' appearance is unknown.
Most of Chaos 5's abilities are unknown. although he retains his power of hydrokinetic shapeshifting, allowing him to liquefy himself into a puddle of water.

Chaos 6 is the form Chaos takes after absorbing the negative energy of six Chaos Emeralds, making this his penultimate form. In this form, Chaos resembles a scorpion/spider/frog-like creature with six legs, multiple eyes, and a toothed mouth. After transforming, his tail was restored by absorbing it back from Froggy. He also has an extended skeleton inside his body.
As Chaos 6, Chaos commands immense power. In this form, his hydrokinetic shapeshifting has reached the point where he can assume more complex forms that feature a variety of tentacles. He has also gained a vacuum breath and can charge his attacks with energy.

Perfect Chaos is the form Chaos takes after absorbing the negative energy of all seven Chaos Emeralds. In this form, Chaos becomes a giant serpentine dragon-like beast with a mouth extending far beyond its eyes, which are now reptilian, and a scale-like hide instead of a skeleton. The base of his snake-like body is merged with the water around him. He also has large tentacles extending from his base.
As Perfect Chaos, Chaos is a higher being that accordingly commands ultimate power. He is able to merge with water and has immense hydrokinetic abilities that lets him create large-scale water sprouts, command water tornadoes, and control entire floods which are destructive enough to destroy all of Station Square. He also has incredible super strength and can shoot energy blasts from his body and beams from his mouth.

Despite his numerous forms and godlike power, Chaos has one consistent weakness: his brain. This is a weak spot that, when hit, will cause Chaos' form to weaken and destabilize. He is also not well protected in most of his forms. Chaos is also noticeably slower than most other Sonic characters, even in his smallest form, Chaos 0.
Tikal was the only person that Chaos allowed to approach the Chao, as Chaos saw Tikal's caring nature towards them. When Pachacamac attacked the Chao and Tikal, Chaos attacked Pachacamac in revenge but became consumed by evil and rampaged across his empire. Tikal sealed him away until the Master Emerald shattered, causing Chaos and Tikal to be separated from each other. Once Tikal successfully assisted Super Sonic in removing the evil within Chaos, the two ascended into the heavens as peace was restored.
As the god of the Chao, Chaos watches over them and rarely allows anyone to approach his temple as it was home to many Chao. When Pachacamac attacked these Chao, Chaos used the Chaos Emeralds to become Perfect Chaos and attacked Pachacamac and his empire in revenge.
Dr. Eggman managed to shatter the Master Emerald after hearing about the legends of Chaos. He then commanded Chaos as if he was a minion, which Chaos allowed simply because Eggman was consistently able to obtain the Chaos Emeralds that Chaos used to unlock his stronger forms. But when Eggman lost the Chaos Emeralds to Knuckles, Chaos ambushed Eggman and seemingly kept him alive only as a distraction to ambush Knuckles shortly afterward. Eggman, seeking revenge, used his Egg Carrier 2 to attack Perfect Chaos, only for Chaos to destroy the aircraft with a single hit from his mouth beam. In Sonic Battle, Chaos is awakened in response to Eggman threatening the planet, and decides to spar with Emerl so that the latter trains before fighting Eggman.

Chaos The Mutant Chao
I'm letting go of that destructive anger. But I will continue to fight. Fight... with your wish in my heart. Your wish for everyone to have a chance to be happy.
Shadow the Hedgehog (シャドウ・ザ・ヘッジホッグ Shadō za Hejjihoggu) is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Characterized by his sharp attitude and strong sense of purpose, Shadow is a recurrent arch-rival of Sonic the Hedgehog, whom he resembles and with whom he shares many abilities. His trademark power is Chaos Control, which allows him to warp time and space using a Chaos Emerald.
Shadow is the "Ultimate Life Form" (究極生命体 Kyūkyoku Seimeitai), created aboard the Space Colony ARK over fifty years ago by Professor Gerald Robotnik. He is the final result of Project Shadow, a government experiment that was only completed by infusing Shadow with the DNA of the alien Black Doom. After his birth, Shadow befriended Gerald's granddaughter, Maria. However, the Guardian Units of Nations (G.U.N.) deemed the project a threat and raided the ARK, resulting in the captures of Shadow and Gerald, and the death of Maria. Driven to madness, Gerald altered Shadow's memories to one day seek revenge.
Shadow remained in stasis for decades until he was freed by Gerald's grandson, Doctor Eggman. Initially motivated by vengeance, Shadow fought Sonic and friends until his true memories of Maria were restored, inspiring him to help save the world from Gerald's doomsday plot. However, Shadow fell to Earth and lost his memories as a result. Shadow would only learn the truth of his existence once he stopped the Black Arms invasion of Earth. He has fought for Maria's wish of peace ever since, acting as a dark hero who protects the Earth and all its inhabitants.

Shadow
Shadow was conceived as part of the development of Sonic Adventure 2, which aimed to build on the success of Sonic Adventure. The game's director, Takashi Iizuka, wanted to explore the dichotomy of good and evil, leading to the creation of characters that would challenge the established heroes and assist Doctor Eggman. One of these characters was Shadow, while the other became Rouge the Bat.
The initial idea for Shadow was to create an anti-hero who would contrast sharply with Sonic. Inspired by American comic book anti-heroes such as Spawn, Shadow was envisioned as a character who would match Sonic in coolness. Various early designs of Shadow ranged from having long spines with tufts of fur in front of his eyes to sporting capes, shades, or even a missing eye.
The final design was developed by Shiro Maekawa, who considers himself Shadow's creator and feels a deep personal connection to the character. Maekawa struggled coming up with his personality. One night, while he was brainstorming lines for a scene in which Sonic confronts Shadow for impersonating him, Maekawa came up with Shadow's first line: "Hmph, aren't you [Sonic] the fake one here?". To further shape his "subtle" character, Maekawa envisioned Shadow would refer to himself with the more humble Japanese pronoun boku (僕) in that language.

Shadow's original name was "Terios" ("reflection of"). Kazuyuki Hoshino, another key figure in Shadow's creation, claimed that the character's red stripes were inspired by Kabuki sujikuma makeup. Early concept art included "Vegeta" as a keyword to describe Shadow, drawing a parallel to the Dragon Ball character Vegeta. However, Iizuka has denied this comparison, emphasizing that while Vegeta became a friend and teammate of the heroes, Shadow would always follow his own path and not be a friend of Sonic.
Shadow was initially only intended to appear in Sonic Adventure 2, which ended with his apparent death. During the development of Sonic Heroes, there were internal meetings at Sega regarding whether Shadow (and characters such as E-102 Gamma) should stay dead or return. However, his popularity among fans led to his return in future games. Additionally, Sonic Team was interested a spin-off game starring Shadow, which eventually became Shadow the Hedgehog. Iizuka mentioned that they had always intended to maintain the mystery around Shadow and had wanted to feature him in his own game since his introduction. Shadow's character allowed the developers to introduce elements otherwise considered inappropiate for the series, like weapons. Sonic series co-creator Yuji Naka also believed that by focusing on Shadow for his own game, they could use his different identity from Sonic to build upon the Sonic brand.
Since his debut, Shadow has been voiced by Kōji Yusa in Japanese. The first English-language voice actor for the character was David Humphrey in Sonic Adventure 2 until Sonic Battle, in which voice clips from the former would be used in Sega Superstars. According to Ryan Drummond, who voiced Sonic at the same time, he briefly filled in for Humphrey for the last couple of voice lines in Adventure 2. Jason Griffith, who has voiced the character in Sonic X, replaced Humphrey in the character's eponymous game. Griffith was later replaced by Kirk Thornton from Sonic Free Riders onward. In Sonic Prime, he was voiced by Canadian Ian Hanlin.
Shadow is a black-furred anthropomorphic hedgehog. He has red eyes, a patch of white fur on his chest, a black nose, a tan muzzle, and small, triangular ears with tan canals. He also has six quills on his head, four of which curve upwards while the other two curve downwards, two spines on his back, and a short, pointy tail. He has red stripes on each of his head quills, around the edges of his eyes, and on his arms and legs.
For attire, Shadow wears white gloves with black cuffs and red tongues, and Air Shoes which, like his gloves, have black cuffs and red tongues. Shadow also wears Limiter Rings, one on each of his wrists and ankles.

Fifty years ago, Shadow was created on the Space Colony ARK by Gerald Robotnik, and grew up there alongside the professor's ailing granddaughter, Maria. Gerald created Shadow to be the Ultimate Life Form as part of the secretive Project Shadow. However, a series of tragedies befell the ARK. One day, the military organization GUN executed a cover-up operation on the ARK, leading to Maria's death and Gerald's arrest and execution. Shadow was captured and put into stasis on Prison Island.

Fifty years later, Gerald's grandson, Dr. Eggman, freed Shadow to use him as his ultimate weapon. Shadow joined him, secretly driven by an intense desire for revenge. His true goal was to assemble the Chaos Emeralds to power the ARK's Eclipse Cannon and destroy the world. However, Sonic the Hedgehog and friends stood in his way. Although the Eclipse Cannon was disabled, a backup plan was activated; Gerald's posthumous confession played, revealing he tampered with Shadow's memories and the ARK itself, as the ARK was set on a crash course with Earth. Amy Rose pleaded with Shadow to help avert the disaster, and her words awakened his true memories: that Maria wanted the people of the world to be safe and happy. Shadow raced to aid Sonic in saving the world. After an epic struggle with the Biolizard, the Earth was saved, but Shadow fell from space and seemingly perished.

Eventually, Rouge the Bat broke into one of Dr. Eggman's bases in search of a great treasure, only to find Shadow sealed in a stasis capsule, along with E-123 Omega. Once Shadow was awoken, he had no memory of recent events. He wanted to find Eggman and get answers, Rouge still wanted Eggman's treasure, and Omega wanted revenge for being sealed away. United by a common goal, the three agreed to work together and hunt down Eggman. During the hunt, Shadow reunited with Sonic and came across Shadow Androids that looked just like him. Shadow began to wonder if he was truly himself or another one of these copies. At the end of the adventure, Rouge entered Eggman's vault, finding hundreds of androids. She too wondered if the Shadow she had awoken was a copy, but Omega pointed out that the androids must have been copied from an original. Shadow set out to find his own answers and a new meaning for his existence. In another adventure, Shadow encountered Emerl, an ancient weapon of mass destruction who had also been a subject of Gerald Robotnik's research on the ARK.

With no memory or purpose, Shadow lost interest in the Earth and humanity. His search for direction was interrupted as the Earth was invaded by the Black Arms. Their leader, Black Doom, appeared before Shadow and ordered him to collect the Chaos Emeralds. Shadow felt no loyalty to Black Doom, but assumed he held answers, so he set out to find the Emeralds and regain his memory. Throughout his efforts, Shadow remembered his promise to Maria to protect the world. He also learned that Prof. Gerald had used Black Doom's DNA to create him, not as a loyal soldier, but as an ultimate weapon to defeat the aliens. In a final struggle, Shadow used the Chaos Emeralds to defeat Black Doom and end the alien invasion. With his original mission complete, he wished to put his past behind him.

Next, Shadow and Rouge were commissioned by GUN to steal the Scepter of Darkness from Dr. Eggman. During a confrontation, the relic was broken, releasing the time-traveling spirit Mephiles the Dark. Mephiles took on a new form by inhabiting Shadow's shadow, then banished Shadow and Rouge to 200 years into the future. There, Shadow witnessed a burning apocalypse and his own future self sealed away. Mephiles revealed humanity blamed Shadow for the Earth's state and imprisoned him, offering a chance at revenge, but Shadow rejected him. Shadow returned to the present, and planned to use the Scepter of Darkness to seal Mephiles once more. However, Mephiles had grown too powerful and could no longer be contained. Eventually, Mephiles realized his goal and reunited with Iblis, becoming the time-destroying god Solaris. Shadow, along with Sonic and Silver the Hedgehog, used the Chaos Emeralds to obtain their super forms and stop Solaris. In the end, Solaris was wiped from existence, and Shadow lost all memory of the encounters with Mephiles. In other adventures, Shadow faced Eggman Nega on two occasions, joining Sonic, Silver, and even Dr. Eggman in thwarting the mad doctor's plans.

One night, Shadow began experiencing painful visions of his past. Suspecting the return of the Black Arms, Shadow traveled to the ARK, indeed finding Black Doom. However, Dr. Eggman's latest minion, the Time Eater, suddenly pulled Shadow into White Space. There, he began to be tormented by Black Doom and infused with new Doom Powers. Shadow also met the time-displaced Maria and Gerald Robotnik. With their encouragement, Shadow came to accept his past, harnessing his Doom Powers to defeat Black Doom once more. After saying goodbye to his family, Shadow went on to encourage Sonic in the battle against the Time Eater.
At some point, Shadow invaded one of Dr. Eggman's bases. Along the way, he fought the mercenary team Jackal Squad and their leader, Infinite. Shadow easily defeated Infinite, leaving him brimming in self-hatred. After joining with a Phantom Ruby replica, Infinite became Eggman's elite agent, conquering the world and attacking Shadow's allies. Infinite also used the powers of the Phantom Ruby to create a Phantom Copy of Shadow to fight Sonic. Shadow eventually intervened, destroying the copy and joining Sonic's efforts to liberate the world. He was on the front lines, helping lead the charge to defeat Eggman's phantom army and save the world.

Being Sonic's polar opposite personality-wise, Shadow is, bluntly put, a brooding loner. He usually acts with a cool and businesslike indifference, only occasionally showing his vulnerable side. He is rarely seen with others for an extended period of time and usually distances himself from essentially everyone as a natural introvert. He is usually blunt and does not speak much, but he always knows exactly what to say in combat. However, Shadow never bluffs; if he makes a threat, he has every intention of carrying it out. Tying into this attitude, the Japanese script has his self-pronoun be the more humble "boku", with his pronoun for others switching between either "kimi" or "omae" depending on his mood.
As the most violent and merciless character in the series at times, Shadow's ruthlessness and aggression leads to enemies never treating him lightly. Alongside his dark and violent demeanor, Shadow can be smug and stubborn. He usually treats others in a very callous manner, throwing in his opinion no matter how cold-hearted it is and not caring for whatever the response is. Shadow is also shown to have a sharp wit; during the Space Colony ARK incident, after being called a faker by Sonic, he replied that the latter was not worth being considered his fake.

Just like how Shadow's motivations are never simple to understand, he spends as much time grappling with his own inner demons as he does with his rival, Sonic. In the past, Shadow has had a degree of mental instability, in particular post-traumatic stress disorder. This was demonstrated by his instances of post-traumatic flashbacks to Maria's face prior to and during the events of the Black Arms incident, though it could be argued that the instances of the latter game were simply an effect of his amnesia. On one occasion, at the time of the Space Colony ARK incident, seeing police sirens flashing caused him to intensely flash back to the massacre aboard Space Colony ARK and in particular Maria's death. Even prior to the events of the ARK raid, Shadow demonstrated some degree of self-doubt, most notably expressing frustration over how, despite being created as the Ultimate Lifeform specifically to act as a means to cure various maladies, he is still unable to cure his friend Maria, and also admitted to Maria when she desired living on Earth that he's uncertain whether he even has a place on the planet.
Similarly, largely because of his being created with Black Arms DNA, Shadow during this time also showed signs of self-loathing, to the extent that he even went as far as to view himself as no different in overall nature to the Death Leech in containment before being reassured by Maria that he does ultimately have a heart. Shadow was soon able to overcome this in the Black Arms and the Emerl incidents, during which he chose to move on from the past yet keep Maria in his heart. In fact, his personal journey since being awoken by Eggman has had him confront the shackles of his past, such as ties, fate, and memories. Since then, it appears as though he is reaching a point where he can "do as his heart desires" in his own way.
Shadow originally had disdain for humanity, being a misanthrope, but rarely attacked them outright, merely looking at them as a distant observer. During the events of the Space Colony ARK incident, Shadow was planning to destroy the planet both ordered by Gerald Robotnik through brainwashing, and as revenge for the death of his only friend, Maria Robotnik. Shadow eventually moves past his hatred for humanity by remembering his promise to Maria. Later on, Shadow decided to protect humanity and those on earth to honor Maria's dying wish despite their original misgivings. Now, Shadow has moved on from the past and decided to protect humanity on his own accord. He does, however, have some lingering guilt over Maria's death, to the extent that he at least once came close to having intrusive visions of a scenario where Maria didn't die before reminding himself that chance ended a long time ago.
During the many incidents that Shadow takes part in, he pursues his foes with a relentless, unwavering determination. He will usually go to any length to accomplish something he desires or feels should be a certain way, no matter what the cost. Before the War to Take Back the Planet, it is heavily implied that Shadow ruthlessly massacred an entire mercenary band known as the Jackal Squad not only in an extremely dismissive, nonchalant manner (as he did not even remember the incident a few months later), but also seemed slightly proud, mocking the mercenary defense squad by saying they themselves needed a defense squad. He also demonstrated rather coarse language during the Black Arms incident.
Shadow possesses a strong sense of identity; after falsely being told by Rouge that he was not the Ultimate Lifeform due to a lab report, he stated to her that, even if his memories were fake, he was still Shadow the Hedgehog. These qualities make him rarely susceptible to being manipulated by others.
"Since when did you become someone who secretly works for everyone's peace?
...I'm not interested in peace or whatever. I don't care what happens to others. I just don't like it when fools do whatever they please on this planet. Whether it's the doctor or anyone else, including you. Don't get me wrong."
In Shadow's own words, he is not interested in peace, nor does he care about what happens to others. In truth, he simply does not like it when foolish people do whatever they please. While this may make it seem like Shadow stands firmly in opposition to villainy, he is actually very indiscriminate about who he faces, as he chooses to stand against anyone who he condemns for being "foolish", be they villains like Dr. Eggman or heroes like Sonic. He similarly does not want thanks for the help he provides when he does something heroic, believing that showing gratitude is a waste of time. However, the grim and uncaring disposition he puts on is not entirely accurate considering the lengths he goes to save others including even sacrificing his own life. In contrast to his words, Shadow acts in a way that ultimately protects others. Deep down he cares about those around him, only hiding his more caring side to keep himself shielded and distant.
He is still shaken by the death of Maria, which is mostly why he keeps to himself; he does not want to become close to anyone else for fear of losing them like he did Maria. Despite his apathetic nature, he does feel sympathy for others, and since reforming himself at the end of the Space Colony ARK incident, he has fought for the greater good, most noticeably to prevent letting other people experience past tragedies, specially the ones that he has been through. Due to being given a "soul" identical to Maria's, he is afraid of his power and has never used it recklessly or to cause suffering. Once, he also saw himself as a weapon since he was created as one, thus causing him to believe that he and other weapons would eventually have to be destroyed to achieve world peace.
Shadow was often depressed about the loss of Maria, which is why he keeps to himself, but his relationship with her is obvious as he goes to great lengths to protect the planet and keep her dream of peace and prosperity alive. He also maintains a strong bond with his teammates, Rouge and Omega, proving that while his attitude makes him seem like a careless person, he does have compassion, more than he otherwise lets on. Still, Shadow brushes off most kindness or sympathy that is sent his way; during the Neo Metal Sonic incident, when Rouge showed concern for Shadow when he saw a broken android of himself, suspecting Team Dark's Shadow might be an android too, Shadow curtly brushed her concern away. During the Black Arms incident, after Sonic suggested some "friendly competition", Shadow bluntly rejected his offer. At times, however, Shadow is shown to appreciate genuine care; at the climax of the Space Colony ARK incident, after Amy Rose made him remember his promise to Maria, Shadow openly decided to keep his promise to protect the planet both to Maria and her. Another instance is during the aborted Solaris incident, when Rouge told him that she would always be by his side, he acknowledged her.

Despite the fact that Shadow often fights for the greater good, he is considered an anti-hero for the most part due to his morality and means to his desired end goals. He does whatever is necessary to get what he wants or feels is right, though this enthusiasm causes him to take risks and jump into situations without fully thinking them through. While not necessarily evil, Shadow's cold-hearted, determined personality has sometimes entailed the dangerous purity of turning himself into an enemy of Sonic.
Alongside Rouge, he has also taken prize money and jewels upon winning in the second EX World Grand Prix, and the two disregarded the opening and closing ceremonies for the event, showing up late without a third teammate and, at the end of the EX World Grand Prix, walking off right away with what turned out to be dummy versions of the prize money and gems. Regardless, Shadow does have his moments of selflessness and heroism; he nearly sacrificed his life at the end of the Space Colony ARK to save the earth, and helped Silver uncover the truth of the Solaris Project after saving Sonic from him in an aborted timeline.

In spite of Shadow's serious and no-nonsense attitude he is occasionally willing to spend time doing leisurely activities or social events like celebrating Amy's birthday at a murder mystery party on the Mirage Express. He even got Amy a present along with participating in the murder mystery event. Shadow has also competed in a variety of racing and sports competitions, having a strong competitive spirit.

Best described as a grim anti-hero, Shadow has a strong sense of purpose and pursues his goals by any means necessary. He possesses a willingness to do whatever it takes to achieve these goals once he has set his sights on them, including using lethal force. This natural vehemence, however, tends to blind him with anger and make him prone to reckless decisions. It can also cause him to hold grudges, to the point where, if the object of his grudge is in sight, he is blinded to everything else; after being bested by Starline at the White Park Grand Chateau, Shadow decided to chase after him while ignoring not only Rouge and Tails being captured, but also an avalanche that would have injured or even killed everyone else. However, Shadow ultimately worked with Sonic to try to stop the avalanche. He also does not tend to take others into consideration, and sometimes his desire for revenge overwhelms his own sense of safety. Being an anti-social lone wolf, Shadow is generally not in favor of team-ups either; although he may occasionally cooperate with others, it is typically for his own reasons and does not guarantee that he is willing to follow orders. He also often leaves without saying goodbye or thanks.

Shadow is sharp-witted, brooding, arrogant, and always seems to be on edge. He usually acts with a cool and business-like indifference, preferring to stay quiet and only speak when it is necessary to achieving his goals without opening up to anyone while staying focused on his intended target. When push comes to shove, however, Shadow can quickly become enormously aggressive and extensively ruthless. He also does not tend to hold back against anyone, especially against those who get in his way. Additionally, he is stubborn and prideful to the point of foolhardiness and never runs away from a fight; while he and Sonic were defending Sunset City from a horde of Zombots, Sonic ran off to burn his Metal Virus infection into remission while advising Shadow to do the same should he get infected, only for Shadow, who considered running to be a coward's tactic (and believed himself to be wholly immune to the Metal Virus), to continue fighting, which sealed his fate upon being infected by the virus.

Said to be Sonic's equal in almost every ability, Shadow can easily rival the blue hedgehog's various physical skills. His abilities and skills in combat are an extremely powerful force to be reckoned with, and he is a match for even the most powerful foes in the series. He similarly never willingly holds back his immense strength, making him a brutal fighter. On his own, Shadow has been able to take down G.U.N.'s various combat mechs, Dr. Eggman's battle robots, Black Doom and his empowered state, and even deities. To best put his skills into perspective, Shadow was capable of defeating even Sonic while he had Diablon for support, as seen in some of the scenarios during the Black Arms incident. He even managed to best Emerl in combat after the latter had acquired all seven Chaos Emeralds as a power source (although Emerl quickly surpassed him afterward).
Like many of his associates, Shadow is able to move at super speed. Said to possess "ultimate speed," Shadow is able to match the speeds reached by Sonic, who is able to reach light speed. Although Shadow's Air Shoes have been credited as the source of his speed, his powerful body allows him to easily rival Sonic's world class speed as well. Due to such speed, he can scale vertical surfaces and ceilings, out-speed bullets, and attack faster than the eye can see. Even then, Shadow can take his speed further; by enveloping himself in an orange energy field, he can accelerate beyond the sound barrier on both the ground and in midair for a short time, allowing him to not only smash straight through enemies and obstacles like a living projectile, but also fly immense distances through midair. Using certain techniques, he can even achieve light-speed momentarily.

While there are some inconsistencies about how fast Shadow is compared to Sonic, it is usually stated that they are complete equals. Shadow has demonstrated complete mastery of his speed in any environment. Not only can he run at maximum tilt in straight lines, but also in full tight circles and through sharp turns with full control over his momentum. As far as stamina goes, Shadow's is seemingly limitless as he is never winded from running. His speed also allows him to perform several impressive feats, like spinning in circles or rotating his extremities at super speed to create winds strong enough to attack or blow away/suck in opponents, similar to aerokinesis.

An experienced athlete that shares Sonic's agility, Shadow has outstanding acrobatic skills and nimbleness, along with incredible reflexes that let him avoid any incoming obstacles with precise and delicate movements within split-seconds, grind expertly on Grind Rails, dodge bullets, and perform various strafe movements. When launched into the air, he can also pull off several tricks before landing. Using the Light Speed Dash, he is able to dash across a trail of rings at super speed, further strengthening his maneuverability. Shadow also has superhuman strength, enough to match Sonic in power; with effort, he can overturn objects many times his weight and size such as trucks, buses and large slabs of concrete with one hand. In addition, Shadow possesses astounding kineticism, precision and has reaction time to match his speed. Shadow also has an incredible resilience to damage as he can take lots of major punishment before he goes down for the count. Notably, he is completely bulletproof and even withstood atmospheric entry at the end of the Space Colony ARK incident (the latter which only left him with amnesia). Even when he takes damage though, he is able to recover rather fast.

Owning to his "ultimate life form" physiology, Shadow possesses an immortal body, meaning he does not age and cannot be killed. Being created as a cure, Shadow has a natural resistance to disease and was able to maintain contact with the Zombot virus for an extended period of time before getting infected. Furthermore, as seen during the Black Arms incident, due to being partly Black Arms, Shadow has a connection to the Black Arms' hive-mind, allowing him to sense his kind's presence and be immune to the Black Arms' body-paralyzing nerve gas. According to E-123 Omega, since the Black Arms are able to turn their body into weaponry, Shadow should theoretically be able to turn his hand into a gun.
Shadow also possesses an indomitable will and determination. His absolute refusal to give up in any situation and resolve to see his goals through to the end allows him to keep on persevering even in seemingly impossible situations. His enormous will even let him psychologically resist mind control powers; notably, Shadow was able to regain control of his body from Black Doom despite him being part Black Arms and therefore susceptible to Black Doom's mind control.
Shadow is naturally able to tap into the arcane powers of nearby Chaos Emeralds, either through physical contact or from a distance, to empower himself and access different chaos powers. According to Shadow himself, he is the only one who knows how to use the Chaos Emeralds' true power. His trademark ability in the field of chaos powers is Chaos Control, a technique achieved with the Chaos Emeralds that lets him warp time and space for various effects. With this technique giving him control over time and space, Shadow is able to warp himself and those close by across space instantaneously over a range further than an island-annihilating explosion or between dimensions, slow down or freeze time entirely, and create areas of distorted space. Shadow is noticeably adept in using Chaos Control for anything between large-scale usages to small-scaled and delicate chaos powers inside and outside of combat. He can for example use it to either freeze or slow down opponents in time to give himself the speed advantage, launch surprise attacks by suddenly warping up in front or behind opponents, distort space around his fists for strikes that can blow opponents away, hide himself away in distorted space, attack foes with spots of distorted space, and even power his own healing abilities and guarding skills.
However, Shadow cannot perform Chaos Control if he does not have any Chaos Emeralds to draw power from.

Beside Chaos Control, Shadow is able to use a number of additional chaos powers. One of these chaos powers include his Chaos Spear technique, in which he throws up to several bolts of Chaos Emerald energy at his opponent that can either paralyze or injure an opponent, depending on its power level. Shadow's most powerful technique, however, is the Chaos Blast, a chaos power where he releases a discharge of Chaos Emerald energy in a massive explosion that eliminates everything within a range of 10-20 yards.

One of Shadow's main offensive maneuvers is the Spin Attack, a technique where he curls into a concussive ball or cutting disk and directs himself at his targets. With it, Shadow can shred or burrow through just about any substance given enough speed. Highly adept in its usage, Shadow can utilize several variants of the Spin Attack for both grounded and aerial maneuvers, including the Spin Dash, Spin Jump, Double Jump, Homing Attack, Air Dash, Somersault, Dark Spin Dash and the Light Speed Attack, which attacks at the speed of light.
Even without his Spin Attack, Shadow is a powerful hand-to-hand combatant. In line with his nature and potent abilities, Shadow uses a fighting style where he utilizes strong blows, such as powerful chops, flying kicks, sideways kicks, high spin kicks, reverse spin kicks, downward dive kicks, or just barrages of punches and kicks. In addition, many of Shadow's stronger hand-to-hand combat moves revolves heavily around his usage of Chaos Control for space distortion effects to knock opponents away and his Air Shoes' exhaust for burning opponents.
Shadow is an effective combat strategist, able to make split second calculations or adjustments to succeed in battle. His strategies can range from creative uses of his environment, manipulating his opponent's shortcomings, and outmaneuvering enemies.
As shown during the second EX World Grand Prix, Shadow is talented with an his Extreme Gear (Darkness and Black Shot). During the tournament, he was able to put up quite a fight and even defeat some of the world's best Extreme Gear riders. When riding on an Extreme Gear, Shadow is skillful enough to ride on Grind Rails, execute complex tricks while in midair, and perform chaos powers and combat moves with ease.

Shadow also has extraordinary skill when it comes to driving or piloting all forms of vehicles. Not only is he one of the best race car drivers in the universe with the Dark Reaper, but he is also able to perfectly operate weaponized buggies, armed motorcycles, modified gliders, hover crafts with machine guns, bipedal mechs and alien devices. Shadow is as well an expert gunner, capable of using weaponry like the G.U.N. Lifts and G.U.N. turrets with perfect accuracy. Also, whereas Sonic dismisses firearms, Shadow is not above using such weaponry, and has demonstrates proficient skills in a very wide range of weapons during the Black Arms incident, such as close combat weapons, guns, cannons, lock-on weapons and lasers. Shadow may also have some knowledge about machinery, having once been able to fiddle with a deactivated Omega and deduce he was in standby mode. A miscellaneous ability Shadow has demonstrated as well is telekinesis, which is potent enough to let him move an Extreme Gear around with his mind with ease.

As powerful as he is, Shadow is able to make himself stronger up tapping into an even greater power within himself. This power is so potent that should he remove his Limiter Rings, he becomes a walking dynamo of raw power. Eggman compares the overall output of the resulting energy from the rings' removal to that of a raging furnace in his log. When unleashing this power, he releases such tremendous amounts of energy that it forms an impenetrable barrier around himself. While in this state, Shadow gains increased strength and speed, enough to overpower hundreds of clones of Mephiles the Dark at once. However, using his full power tires him out more quickly.
Shadow is an extremely powerful individual and combatant, capable of going toe-to-toe with and sometimes even overwhelming Sonic in fierce combat. He boasts superb agility and reflexes to match his rocket skate-induced speed, allowing him to act accordingly to even Sonic's split-second movements. Like Sonic, he can perform the Spin Attack, a technique where he curls into a concussive ball or cutting disk and directs himself at his targets. With it, Shadow can shred or burrow through just about any substance given enough speed. Likewise, although he can only keep up with Sonic's level of super speed using his rocket skates, he is still faster than the average person, enough to chase after a speeding truck.
