Eric and Derek Watson were twins. I guess we all know what twins are. Twins are two babies born to the same mother at the same time. They can be identical or fraternal.

In this case Eric and Derek were indeed identical. You may be thinking identical twins are very rare, but actually they're not, or maybe just these two 9 year olds. Anyways let's get on with the story.

      CHAPTER 1

Meet Eric and Derek 

       Watson 

Eric and Derek are very naughty twins.They might look innocent but they were NOT.Let me tell you about a few things these two did......

-Trick their parents by wearing the same clothes.

- Switch places in class.

- Stay awake way past bedtime playing games.

- Never completing their chores

- Lying about why they could not do their homework

- Throwing water balloons on the neighborhood kids  

And MANY more mischief .Their parents try to teach them good manners but of course they ignore them.

Boys behave nicely.

                           CHAPTER TWO

                               A surprise

The twins kept behaving badly, getting worse by the day. They were even caught at the arcade skipping school. Together they felt unstoppable , looking out for what they thought was the next fun idea. Their parents tried keeping them separated, but they could not handle their inconsolable tantrums. They tried to advise them. The twins never listened. Their parents received complaints from school. They often grounded them, took away their entertainment, but they continued their rowdiness.

One fine day the lady from the reception came to Eric and Derek's classes and told them that  someone had come to pick them up. At first they were so excited they got to leave school but then they wondered who had come and why. As they walked through the corridor the twins were discussing the various possibilities.

Maybe they were chosen to go on a special case for the President because of their outstanding performance at school. Or maybe it was the cops cause the neighbours had complained for drawing on the fence.  

As they entered the reception they were surprised to see their father waiting there. Their parents hardly ever picked them up. They followed their father into the car. The journey felt long. They didn't utter a word. Father was quiet too. They kept looking at each other wondering if they were in trouble.  The destination neared. Mr. Watson parked the car. The twins saw a huge building with a huge Red Cross "SUPER DUPER SPECIALTY HOSPITAL". The twins were so confused. Who was ill? All were well at breakfast. Perhaps a relative.  Mr. Watson pressed the elevator button.  

They got off on the second floor. Walked through the corridor with bright pink and blue walls. They stepped into a room and saw their mother lying on a bed. What's this next to the bed??

CHAPTER 3

Meet Alice

The twins were wonder-struck seeing their mother in the hospital but what the boys were most confused about why there was a little crib next to their mother. The twins slowly walked towards the crib and looked inside. It was a most adorable baby.
