The concord
The Concorde was a turbojet-powered supersonic passenger airliner, a result of a joint venture between British Airways and Air France. Known for its iconic design and incredible speed, the Concorde could fly from New York to London in just about 3.5 hours, compared to 7-8 hours for a standard commercial flight.
Tupolev Tu-144
The Tupolev Tu-144 Also known as the "Concordski," it was the first commercial supersonic transport aircraft to fly. Despite its promising start, its service life was short due to technical and economic issues. Interestingly, the Tu-144 had its maiden flight two months before Concorde!
Boom Supersonic XB-1
The Boom Supersonic XB-1, also known as "Baby Boom," is a one-third-scale supersonic demonstrator aircraft developed by Boom Technology. It recently made history by becoming the first privately developed aircraft to break the sound barrier! During its test flight on January 28, 2025, the XB-1 reached a speed of Mach 1.122 (about 750 mph) and flew at an altitude of 35,290 feet.
Spike Aerospace S-512
The Spike Aerospace S-512 is an exciting proposed supersonic business jet designed to significantly reduce travel time by flying at speeds of up to Mach 1.6. This means it can travel at about 1,600 miles per hour, cutting down long-haul flight times by half. The S-512 aims to carry up to 18 passengers in a luxurious, comfortable cabin.
SR-71 Blackbird
The SR-71 Blackbird is one of the most iconic aircraft ever built. Developed by Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works division, this long-range, advanced strategic reconnaissance aircraft was first introduced in the 1960s and served until the 1990s.
F-22 Raptor
The F-22 Raptor is a fifth-generation, single-seat, twin-engine, all-weather stealth tactical fighter aircraft developed by Lockheed Martin for the United States Air Force (USAF). Its primary role is air superiority, though it also has capabilities for ground attack, electronic warfare, and signals intelligence.

The X-15 was a remarkable experimental rocket-powered aircraft developed by North American Aviation for NASA and the United States Air Force. It holds records for the highest speeds and altitudes ever achieved by a manned aircraft.

The North American XB-70 Valkyrie is a fascinating piece of aviation history! It was a prototype supersonic strategic bomber designed by North American Aviation for the United States Air Force in the late 1950s
Dassault Rafale
The Dassault Rafale is a French twin-engine, canard delta wing, multirole fighter aircraft designed and built by Dassault Aviation. It's known for its versatility and is referred to as an "omnirole" aircraft
