It was a chilly winter night, and Blue wagged her tail with excitement. Today was a special day—she, along with her friends Steve and Joe, Shovel and Pail, Tickety Tock, and Slippery Soap, had been invited by the Ninja Kitties—Zumi, Mia, Leon, and Bee-Bee—on an important holiday mission.
“Are we ready to go?” Steve asked.
“Ready!” Joe grinned.
The mission was clear: They had to deliver a sack full of Christmas lists to Santa Claus himself! Leading the way were Pepper and Mint. The journey would take them through the magical winter wonderland known as Peppermint Parkway. With excitement bubbling in their hearts, the group set off, their footprints leaving trails in the soft snow.
Their first stop was Candy Cane Lane, a dazzling street lined with towering candy canes that sparkled under the moonlight. Blue sniffed the air, delighted by the sweet peppermint scent. Bee-Bee playfully shot a little honey from his paws onto a candy cane and licked it up. “Sweet and sticky! Just how I like it!” he laughed.
Next, they entered Frozen Land, a place of glittering ice sculptures and frozen waterfalls. Here, a great cave stood, dark and mysterious. Steve and Joe stepped cautiously toward it, peering inside.
“I don’t see a polar bear, Steve.” Joe said, his voice echoing through the cave.
As if on cue, a deep growl resonated from within, and Joe’s eyes widened. Before he could react, a large, white figure emerged—a polar bear! Joe yelped and turned to run, but instead of attacking, the polar bear gave him a big, friendly lick on the cheek.
“Aww, he’s just saying hello!” Steve chuckled, and Joe sighed in relief, patting the bear’s fluffy head before they continued their journey.
The path then led them to Gingerbread Alley, where the streets were paved with gingerbread bricks, and frosting-covered houses stood tall, their roofs adorned with gumdrops. The air was warm with the aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg. Blue let out a happy bark as she spotted a gingerbread puppy, wagging its icing tail. Shovel and Pail, always ready to play, dug into the gingerbread ground, pretending to build a tiny gingerbread castle.
From there, the group traveled to the Twinkle Trail, a breathtaking forest where trees glowed with magical lights. The air shimmered with golden sparkles, and Tickety Tock marveled at how perfectly the twinkling lights kept time with their footsteps.
As they paused for a break, Joe and Bee-Bee sipped on hot cocoa—Joe’s had extra marshmallows, while Bee-Bee’s had honey stirred in. The warmth of the cocoa filled them with comfort as they chatted about their adventure so far.
Then, something unexpected happened. Steve had set the sack of Christmas lists down for a moment to admire Ornament Avenue, a place filled with dazzling holiday ornaments. When he turned back—the sack was gone!
“What’s going on?” Steve exclaimed, looking around frantically.
That’s when they saw them—the Fang Gang! Winty Wolf stood proudly with the sack over his shoulder. Cody Coyote and Jed Jackal smirked as they prepared to run off with their stolen lists.
“Oh no! We can’t let them get away with this!” Mia said determinedly.
