The Birthday Bash
It was Hello Kitty's birthday. My Melody, Kerropi, Kuromi, Badtz-Maru, and Pompompurin were planning a big surprise party for her.
"I can't wait to surprise Kitty!" exclaimed My melody jumping up and down. "This party is going to be so awesome!" said Keroppi.
The group already had a plan: They would go seperate ways to think about ideas for the party, and when they finished, everyone would come back to share what they had in mind. "See you guys later!" said Badtz-Maru walking in the opposite direction.
It was less than an hour when the group all came rushing back to each other filled with ideas. "You guys will love my idea!" said Kuromi with a sparkle in her eye. "I've got a great idea too," said Pompompurin calmly. "Ok then, since we've all got great ideas, why don't I go first?" asked My Melody. My Melody said that the party
would be a tea party, where everyone wears fancy outfits drinking tea and eating cucumber sandwiches. "So, what do you guys think?" asked My Melody glancing at everyone with a smile after she finished. Everyone didn't really show that much support for My Melody's idea. Kuromi was the only person who would speak.
"I think that is a good idea," Kuromi started, "but I had a different plan in mind." Kuromi said that Hello Kitty's birthday party should be a big dance party. Everyone would dance, chat, and have fun.
"I love that idea!" said Badtz-Maru. "But here's what I think the party should be about. It could be a pranking party!" "While I do show support for you plan Badtz-Maru," said Keroppi, "I think the party should have other fun games besides doing pranks. Things like card games, board games, and active games too. Hello Kitty will have
such a good time at a party like that!"
"But Hello Kitty would like to do other things besides playing games at her party." said Pompompurin. "How about a nice buffet with piles of food? Think about all the things that Hello Kitty could eat at her party."
Then the group suddenly got upset. Neither of them liked their ideas that much. This caused everyone to get into an argument. Then when they found out none of them would switch sides, they decided to go separate ways to plan the party.
There was only one problem: the group only planned one place to do the party and there wasn't enough time relocate someplace else since they directed Hello Kitty to go to that exact spot, so everyone ended up planning the party at the same place.
This caused a bit of chaos. Where pranks were placed, piles of food were stacked there. And where the turn table was placed, a rack of fancy clothes were in front of it. And where the board games were placed, a row of fake flowers filled with water were on top of it.
Things were a mess. The group started to argue again, until they saw the mistake they had made and then they came together to form a compromise.
"I think we should start all over. All Hello Kitty probably wants is to have fun with everyone, right?" asked Badtz-Maru. "I agree," said Keroppi, "which is why we'll all plan the the party together."
It took some time, but within a few hours, the party was all set with colorful balloons, a crazy party game table, a huge snack table, a glowing dance floor, and a delicious fruit punch fountain.
"This place looks so cool!" said Pompompurin. "Yes, it really does." said My Melody feeling pleased. Hello Kitty was arriving soon, so everyone got into their places. When Hello Kitty entered the room, everyone jumped out and yelled, "Surprise!"
"Wow!" exclaimed Hello Kitty. "All of this for me?" "Yep. You're our best friend, so we planned a party for you," said Badtz-Maru. "We might've had some mishaps during the party planning, but it turned out fine," said Kuromi.
"I can see that," said Hello Kitty looking around, "but it doesn't matter. All I care about is having fun with my friends on my birthday." And everyone had a blast at the birthday party.

Girls' Day Out
Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Kuromi were lying around in My Melody's living room. They felt a little bit bored because the boys were out of town and nothing exciting was happening around them.
"Ugh, I'm so bored!" said Kuromi finally giving in. "What do you girls say we do something fun?" My Melody sat up. "You mean like a Girls' Day Out?" she asked interestingly. "Yeah, something like that," said Kuromi.
Hello Kitty sat up too. "I think a Girls' Day out sounds fun," she said. "What do you think we should do first?" The girls were thinking for a while until Kuromi stood up and spoke. "I just got a great idea!" she said her voice filled with excitement. "Earlier this week, I got two cool launchers that can be filled up with up to 40 items! We can pick sides and have a super cool battle in My Mel's backyard. What do
you say?"
Hello Kitty and My Melody were thinking for a moment. My Melody was the first to speak. "That sounds good, but I was thinking that the three of us should have a Girls' Day Out were we go to the spa, go shopping, and get take out!"
"Oh, that sounds fun! We should definitely do that! Are you up for it Kuromi?" asked Hello Kitty. Kuromi was about to disagree when she saw the excitement on her friends faces. She didn't want to disappointment them.
"Um, I think that sounds fine. We can do that," said Kuromi uneasily. "Ok, then it's settled!" said My Melody twirling around the furniture. "Let's have a super fun Girls' Day Out!"
The first place the girls went to was the mall. It was not too long
before Hello Kitty, My melody, and Kuromi's hands were full with several shopping bags. "After this, we should go to the smoothie shop!" said My Melody skipping. "I agree! What about you Kuromi?" asked Hello Kitty.
Kuromi, who was struggling to carry the heavy load of bags, managed to reply with a small yes. After they went to the smoothie shop, the girls went to Hello Kitty's Cafe to get some sweets. Then they went to the spa to get a nice massage and a pedicure.
The day was almost done and the girls were really worn out, but they had fun. Well, the two of them mostly had fun. "What a day! I can't wait to go to bed and sleep," said Hello Kitty exhaustedly.
"Well, at least we had a great day," said My Melody collapsing on her couch." As much tired they were, two of the girls were showing
smiles on their faces. Kuromi was the only one who didn't have a smile across her face.
Instead, she was frowning, tired, and upset. She had been holding this feeling the entire day from her friends and she just couldn't hold it any longer. She especially blew up when My Melody said something which was the last thing she wanted.
"You know, maybe we should do this again one day. Maybe we should do it even sooner!" said My Melody excitedly. "You know what I think we should do, or what we should've done?" asked Kuromi who couldn't take it any longer.
"What I wanted was to have an epic battle that included awesome launchers, gigantic forts, and cool gear! But instead, this day was wasted on the three of us doing girly things! It's not that I didn't
enjoy any of those things, but you guys weren't allowing me be included with deciding what to do today. I only went along with everything just to make you guys happy!"
Hello Kitty and my melody were shocked by this. "Kuromi, we're sorry if we didn't get to do any of the things you wanted to do. We should've listened to you," said My Melody. Hello Kitty nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we were so caught up in making this a really girly Girls' Day Out, we didn't get to have a chance to listen to you."
"Well, it's fine. We can have a battle a different time," said Kuromi. My Melody wanted to make it up to Kuromi, so she had an idea. "Wait! The day isn't over yet. Follow me Kitty," said My Melody. Hello Kitty giggled. "I can't wait to find out what we're doing. Stay here Kuromi," said Hello Kitty. Kuromi was curious to know what
they were doing, but she decided to obey and wait patiently.
About five minutes later, Hello Kitty came back wearing a strange sort of outfit. Kind of similar to knight wear, if that was what she was going for. "Ok, it's ready! You can come now," said Hello Kitty and then she walked out the door again with Kuromi following behind.
In My Melody's back yard, there were two builds at each side of the yard that was made with pillows, cardboard boxes, and blankets. My Melody was one of them wearing an outfit similar to Hello Kitty's. This made Kuromi even more interested. "What's going on?" she asked.
My Melody smiled. "Well since we didn't get to do that awesome battle you were speaking of earlier, we decided to try and create it so we could do it right now. There still enough time," added My
Melody with a wink. Then she came walking over with one of the launchers Kuromi was talking about and presented it to Kuromi.
"Here's your weapon. Along with your battle outfit, which is over there," said My Melody. Kuromi smiled at her two friends. "Thanks guys, I mean, girls. Let's begin this battle and have an awesome Girls' Day Out!" said Kuromi enthusiastically.

This or that?
My Melody's Choice
Badtz-Maru was waiting outside his house for Keroppi to come so that they could play video games. Finally, he saw Keroppi appear from the corner of his eye coming in his direction.
"What's up Keroppi?" asked Badtz-Maru. "Hi there Badtz-Maru. Are you ready to play the video game?" asked Keroppi. "Totally. I can't wait to beat you. I'm a pro and a champion," said Badtz-Maru proudly. "We'll see about that," said Keroppi as he walked up the front steps into Badtz-Maru's house.
In the living room, Keroppi was sitting on the couch waiting for Badtz-Maru to select a video game. Badtz-Maru was searching through his shelf filled with types of video games.
"Have you found one yet?" asked Keroppi peering from behind the couch. "Nope. Not yet. Wait a minute, ah ha!" exclaimed Badtz-Maru.
He soon came walking over towards Keroppi with a video game disc in his hands. "Check it out! It's one of my favorites. It's got the best weapons, cool gear modes, and the most awesome defenses! We should definitely play this!" said Badtz-Maru.
Keroppi looked closely at the video game Badtz-Maru was holding. "Oh, that game Badtz-Maru? You definitely don't want to play that," said Keroppi as he got up from the couch.
Badtz-Maru was a bit puzzled. "Why not?" he asked. "Well, the game mostly lacks the plan making skills," said Keroppi as he walked towards Badtz-Maru's video game shelf. "Everyone in that game acts quickly without having the time to form a plan for their attack. That way, they'd be able to eliminate their opponent when they finished studying their tactics for a while and then attack." Keroppi
was looking through the shelf while he said this. Soon, he found the game he was looking for. "I think it's better for us to play this game," continued Keroppi as he showed Badtz-Maru the game he was holding.
"That one? I hardly play that. There aren't that much gear modes and the weapons are strong enough. Plus, the defenses are just plain boring. It would take under a minute for the opponent you're facing to get into your fortress," said Badtz-Maru. "If you want to play a full-action packed game, then you'll want to play this game," he added pointing to the one in his hand.
Keroppi shook his head. "I don't want to play that one. I don't it shows the importance of thinking things through and the serious process of plan making. You can't just form a plan in three seconds
and then decide you've got everything figured out."
This made Badtz-Maru upset. "Come on Keroppi, we can't stay here and keep on bickering. Let's make this simple, and agree that the video game I've chosen for us to play is better, so everything will be ok again," said Badtz-Maru calmly.
Keroppi stood his ground. "No! This game I've chosen for us is better than that one." Badtz-Maru was taken aback, but stood his ground too.
"My video game is better!" he yelled. "No, my video game is better!" yelled Keroppi back. "No, mine is!" "No, mine is!" Keroppi and Badtz-Maru were quarreling the whole time they walked to Hello Kitty's cafe. Mostly because they wanted to get a smoothie, and they wanted to hear Hello Kitty's thoughts about which video game was
video game was better.
When they arrived, they saw that Hello Kitty's cafe was almost filled with customers, chatting and waiting for their orders. Hello Kitty was busily writing down orders on a small notebook at the counter, while waiting for a batch of cupcakes to finish baking. They approached her and waited until she finished writing down everything.
"Oh, hi Keroppi, hi Badtz-Maru," she said finally noticing them and setting the notebook aside, "what brings you here?" "Oh, nothing. We were just wondering if you would like share your thoughts on which video game is better," said Badtz-Maru casually. "Oh, and we want smoothies too," added Keroppi. "Alright then, two smoothies coming up! And by the way, I don't have enough time to talk. My schedule
is jam packed. I made a new type of smoothie that became really popular in just one day," said Hello Kitty, and then she glanced around.
"There's My Melody over there. Maybe she could listen to you guys," she suggested. Then, a timer went off. "Oh! Looks like the cupcakes are ready. See you guys later!" she said leaving to retrieve the cupcakes from the oven.
Keroppi and Badtz-Maru walked to the table where My Melody was sitting at. When My Melody looked up, she was a bit puzzled when she saw Badtz-Maru and Keroppi right in front of her, but she gave them a smile.
"Hi guys! What are you doing here?" asked My Melody. "We were just wondering what type of video you like best. Do you like the
ones with the awesome upgrades, forts, and weapons, or do you like the ones that lack all of those things?" asked Badtz-Maru. Keroppi shot him an angry glance when he mentioned the video game he wanted to play in a rude way. "Hmm, I honestly don't know. I guess the one that seems like a good video game would be-"
"Before you say anything, I think I have something you want to hear," said Keroppi interrupting My Melody, "the other video game does not lack all of those cool things. People can think things through and they can have a lot of time to think of a battle plan. Isn't that a better thing to have in a video game instead of just going head first?"
Badtz-Maru was angry that he interrupted My Melody - she was going to say that the video he liked we better. At least, that's what
he thought, so he shouted at Keroppi. "You could've let her finish! She was about to say the video game I like was better!" Keroppi started to argue back again too. "She wasn't going to say that! She has to decide who's video game is better and it's obviously going to be mine."
The two of them continued to argue and argue. They even tried include My Melody in the argument, asking her back and forth which video game was better. My Melody couldn't take it anymore so she pulled down her ears and said, "Stop! I don't want to be a part of this!" And with that, she stood up and ran out of the cafe.
Badtz-Maru and Keroppi were confused on why she ran away, but continued arguing. It wasn't until later, Keroppi decided to stop. Then Badtz-Maru stopped too, because it suddenly seemed pointless.
My Melody obviously ran away because she was upset with them. So they called a truce and walked outside. Out there, the two of them saw My Melody just outside the cafe sitting on the sidewalk alone.
Keroppi was the first person to say something. "My Melody, are you okay? Me and Badtz-Maru wanted to say that we're sorry for putting too much pressure on you to just make a small decision."
Badtz-Maru nodded. "We shouldn't have let that silly argument get in the way of what we really wanted to do; To play videos together as friends. Can you forgive us?" My Melody was quiet for a while and then said, "Alright. I forgive you. But to be honest, I was going to say that both of your video games are good."
Keroppi and Badtz-Maru were confused. "Really?" asked Keroppi.
My Melody nodded. "Yep! At the same time, I didn't really care. As long as they're video games, they'll be fun to play, right?"
"Oh," said Badtz-Maru and Keroppi at the same time. "Also, we should get back to focusing on playing video games right now," added My Melody standing up. "We?" asked Keroppi.
"Yes, I'm playing too! Unless you're too scared to beat me," said My Melody, "unless you guys are too scared to beat me." Then they all laughed.

Keroppi's Leap
Choco Cat was walking down a path until he heard a tune being played. "Whoah, where's that melody coming from?" he asked. He followed the sound until he reached small pasture in a part of the forest. And that's when he saw Keroppi blowing a trumpet.
"Keroppi, I didn't know you could play a trumpet that well!" said Choco Cat, but he accidentally startled Keroppi making him blow on the wrong note. "Oh, sorry! I couldn't help myself, but listen. What are you doing here?" asked Choco Cat.
Keroppi glanced around to make sure no one else was there, which made Choco Cat confused, but he still answered him. "I'm learning how to play the trumpet, but since I've got the hang of it, or at least I think, I like to play it for fun. When no one is around that is. I like to practice in the forest for peace and quiet," said Keroppi.
"Well, I think that you've got true talent. Its obvious that you shouldn't leave it to waste," said Choco Cat. "What are you talking about?" asked Keroppi. "I'm fine playing the trumpet alone in the woods."
"Yes, but what if you could share your talent? I think that one of the local bands are actually looking for a trumpet player. Maybe you could audition?"
"I'm not sure Choco Cat. Truth is, I would like to sign up, but I don't think I have the courage," said Keroppi. "Don't make up your mind now!" said Choco Cat quickly, "the auditions are only a week away and you could actually be great. Just sleep on it." "Ok," said Keroppi, but he still felt unsure.
Meanwhile, Kuromi, My Melody, and Cinnamoroll were hanging out
at Hello Kitty's Cafe together. They were laughing at a joke Cinnamoroll told them. "That's so funny Cinnamoroll! I don't think I can stop laughing, haha!" said My Melody. "Me neither, haha!" said Kuromi.
Then, Hello Kitty walked up to them and place their orders on the table. "Here are your cream horns! Enjoy!" Kuromi stared at her plate of cream horns closely. "What are these?" she asked.
"Don't you know what cream horns are?" asked My Melody munching on her cream horns. "They're only amazingly delicious deserts. Well, them along with cinnamon rolls," said Cinnamoroll.
Kuromi still looked at hers uncertainly. "I don't know. What if these are not cream horns? What if something is in these tube-like deserts?
"It could be a very small mummy, or a very small alien in a very small space ship!" said Kuromi raising her voice and scrambling out of her seat to try and get away from the cream horns. "I'm not risking it!"
"Kuromi, there's absolutely nothing to be afraid of. These are just regular cream horns. Just look at me and Cinnamoroll. We're still fine," said My Melody.
"Hold it right there! A. You're right. There's 'nothing' to be afraid of. B. I'm not afraid. And C. You and Cinnamoroll might be fine, but soon, you might not know what you're eating anymore," said Kuromi firmly.
"If you want to prove it, then eat yours," said Cinnamoroll. "I will," said Kuromi slowly, "but I'm not going to eat it yet. But I will."
