Hi My name is Brody and I love playing tennis. But I'm not that good at it So I am starting to practice.

I Practice at my house a ton hitting the tennis ball against the wall of my Garage. And Once a while my Dad will go and hit tennis balls with me at the courts 5 minutes from my house!

I also go to school at River center high. I'm in 9th grade most of my friends play tennis so I wanted to try it out because it looks like a really fun sport when I watch them play.

So I have been Practicing by going to play Tennis alone in my garage and with my Dad at the tennis courts. Also I'm gonna ask my friend Owen who is the star of the schools tennis team. at school on Monday if I could practice playing tennis with him to get me better.

Because I want to start taking tennis seriously After watching my friends play and then me starting to practice and get better. Because next year for my 10th grade year I am gonna try out for my Schools tennis team and play with my friends.

But I have to get a lot better at tennis so when i tryout next school year I can hopefully make Varsity or JV. So I can enjoy the tennis Season even more by playing with me friends on a team and competing instead of playing for fun.

So I think I am gonna start going to the gym instead of just hitting tennis balls. So I can get stronger and then be able to hit the tennis ball very hard. Also I'm gonna start studying all of the rules for tennis. So by tryouts I can know the game fully and know the strategies to Look very good in tryouts.

Ok today is tryout day and I'm super nervous to go and tryout. But I have been practicing getting stronger and understand all of the rules of tennis. So Now I'm stepping on to the court with all of my friends and I see the evaluators writing down notes. First in tryouts everybody stretched out and got warmed up. After there was a evaluator putting us into groups to tryout. 

Ok tryouts are over and I made Varsity with all of my friends. I am so excited that I made the Varsity tennis team. And I can't wait to get out on the court this season with all of my friends and practice and play Matches This season my goal is to win my first ever Varsity tennis Match. So I need to focus and pay attention at practices. 

Today is My first practice I am so excited to meet my coach and hit balls with my teammates. So I got into the car with my Dad and we drove to the Varsity tennis courts of my school. I met my coach and all of my teammates. And now we are starting practice. I loved practice so much and it was so fun.

Today is my first ever Varsity tennis match and I play St. Johns high school. So me and my opponent started to warm up I was so nervous all of teammates and fans and coaches were watching me. So warmups have ended and we are starting the match. I started serving the first game and I won the first set now we are playing the second set and I also won that set and won the match i was so excited and my coaches fans and teammates were all so happy for me!
