Each blocos has its own theme with some of the most popular being Banda de Ipanema, Sargento Pimenta (Seargent Pepper) and Afroreggae. While Rio is undoubtedly the most famous Carnival party, there are huge celebrations all over Brazil from Bahia to Sao Paolo.
