There once was a Princess named Katerina and a Prince named Edward. They were living happily ever after in the Kingdom of Numeria.

Princess Katerina and Prince Edward loved solving math puzzles with peasants, counting and sharing their treasure with others, and teaching people about the importance of math.
Far away in the Dark Swamp, the Evil King and Venom Tooth the Crocodile had an evil plan. They wanted to steal the treasure from the Kingdom of Numeria.

The Evil King and Venom Tooth casted a dark spell on the land, causing a drought. The drought killed all the crops and dried the kingdom's water supply. Princess Katerina and Prince Edward knew they had to do something.

While Princess Katerina and Prince Edward were worried about the kingdom, the Evil King and Venom Tooth decided to sneak into the castle and steal the kingdom's treasure.

They stole 7 gold coins, 4 diamonds, and 7 sparkling crowns. The next morning, Princess Katerina and Prince Edward woke up to find that their treasure was stolen!

If Princess Katerina and Prince Edward started with 10 gold coins, and the Evil King and Venom Tooth took 7, how many are left?
