Once upon a time there was a kangaroo named 

Kicker, a fox named Finder, and a lizard named 

Larry. Kicker, Finder, and Larry all lived in the 

Outback of Australia. In the Outback of Australia, 

there was hardly any water.

"We need to find a lake." said Finder. "Use your 

sniffer," said Larry. You see, all of the animals 

had special talents. Kicker was tough, Finder was 

good at finding things, and Larry was very

smart. The animals decided that together, with their 

neat talents, they could help each other find water.

The three friends traveled 

together, all the way to a 

huge tree. You would 

never believe what they 

saw on a branch of the 

tree. They saw a koala! The 

koala started picking leaves 

off of the tree and throwing 

them at the animals. 

"Okay, that's it!" said 

Kicker. He hopped up to 

the branch that the koala

was on and he 

kicked him to 

the other 

branch. The 

koala was too 

scared to 

bother the 

animals 

anymore. He 

went to 

another tree, 

clear away 

from the 

animals.

The animals kept walking till they got to a  

mountain. They started climbing the 

mountain, and when they got to the top, 

Kicker slipped down! He was to big too stand 

at the very top of the mountain. "I'm coming 

for you Kicker!" said Larry. He never gave up 

on a friend. While Larry was sliding down, 

his glasses blew off of him. "Finder! Try to 

use your sniffer to find

my glasses!" said Larry. Larry 

could not see without his 

glasses. Finder slid down the 

mountain, following his nose to 

Larry's glasses. He walked over 

to the side of the mountain, 

and he sniffed around. He used 

his good eye sight to try to find 

Larry's tiny black glasses. 

Finally, he saw two black 

circles. He pulled the glasses 

out with his mouth and 

brought it to Larry.

Next, 

they ran 

into a 

little 

tunnel. 

"The 

water 

might be 

in this 

tunnel!" 

said 

Larry.
