It was the first day of vacation.
Logan was happy.

“We're going to see Mimi!” he said.

Lennon jumped on the bed.
“Are we going today?”
“Yes!” said Mom.
“Get ready!”

Dad packed the bags.
Mom made sandwiches.
Logan took his stuffed frog.
“I can’t leave him,” he said.

“Everyone in the frog car!” said Dad.
“Vacation time!” shouted Logan.
And the family left, smiling.

They saw mountains, trees, and birds.
They sang songs.
“Mimi, here we come!” yelled Lennon.

The road was long.But Logan looked out the window.“Look! A blue butterfly!”

They stopped to eat in the woods.
They had lunch under a tree.
“These vacations are magical,” said Mom.

After hours, they saw a house.
“It’s Mimi’s house!” said Logan.
“We made it!” they all shouted.
