The sun began fading as Luke noticed a storm rolling in at the army base. There he was standing alone. He was scared. Thoughts raced through his head. He was only a 10- year old boy. Then rain began pouring as he ran under a tree and sat down.

I got there because helicopter that I was on for a field trip that I was looking forward to so much but the helicopter blew up and this is where I landed.

      Then thunder and lightning began. He heard rustling like there was a animal. He was panicking. Than ran looking around and he screamed help! But he found a barn so he ran in the barn.He found some hay layed down and went to sleep.

Then he woke up and there was a bear. He was terifided . The black bear looked like he was not trying to harm the boy. Luke started to pet the bear and when he did the bear would not leave him. He saw a stool so he stood on the stool and climbed on the bears back.

    Then he sat down and the bear curled on its back right beside Luke. Then Luke realized he had a friend with him. The bear was a gentle giant. But then another storm came so they both went in the barn. The barn blew over that was the only roof they had for the storm.

Then he heard a helicoptor he thought to himself did they know he was there? He felt bad leaving the bear. But he had to because they came to pick him up.
