Please let me out of here!!
Conflict Introduced
At the same time, Piggy has been stuck on an island and is starting to lose his mind. He is trying to be happy, but it gets harder as the days go by and he is stuck on the island. He has been stuck doing nothing but trying to live. But, as the minutes go by, his feelings of survival weaken.

*breaths deeply*
Rising Action
Montag is about to travel. He is super scared as he is in the ship. It starts blasting off and he gets very nervouss but tries to calm himself down. Then, he remembers something that he learned in firefighter training. To help focus, silence in the mind creates a normal feel for the mind (Study Buddhism). He calms himself down using a Buddhist meditation and he will continue to use it to calm him down.

Ew, it's Julius Caesar!

Rising Action
Meanwhile, back in Rome, Julius Caesar finishes his speech but continues to struggle with gaining respect from other people. He tries to think about what he can do but ends up feeling very sad. He doesn't know how he can get people to like him.

You suck, Piggy!
Rising Action
At the same time, Piggy is still trying to find peace in the island. He is still very sad since he doesn't have anything to do and the people that are around him are being mean to him. He starts to wanlk around the island to find a place to be alone and grieve.

Excuse me sir, do you know where I can find a book?

Rising Action
As Piggy struggles with his hope, Montag finally lands in Rome. He is curious about the place but knows what he has to get done. He then sees an upset man walking around and goes up to him. He then asks about where he can find a book.

Sorry, I was just asking.

Rising Action
The man he meets is Julius Caesar. Julius becomes very rude to Montag. Montag says, "Sorry, I was just asking." Then, as Montag starts to leave, Julius tells him to stay and apologizes for being mean. He tells Montag how he doesn't know how to get people to like him. Julius asks him for help on how to get respect from people.

OUCH!

Rising Action
Montag asks him if he doesn't listen to others and Julius stays quiet. Montag takes that as a "yes" and tries to help him out. Montag states that he should try to help somebody who needs it. Just then, a man falls on the floor.

Rising Action
Back on the island, Piggy is walking around looking for something to do and finally finds a log to sit on. Slowly, he starts to cry and wish that he could be free from the island, not knowing how to find hope, peace, or happiness.

Thank you for helping me sir!
You're welcome!

Rising Action
In Rome, Julius looks at Montag as the man lays on the ground. Montag tells him to help the man get back up. Julius then approaches the man scared of what is going to happen and offers to help the man. The man says "thank you" and Julius couldn't be happier. From this, Julius learns a big lesson originating from a Hinduism belief. By gaining positive karma or doing good things, there is an aim to have a happy life (BBC).

Here! Take this as a thank you!

Rising Action
Julius thanks Montag for helping him and that someone respecting him was all he wanted which made him be Moksha, a good thing in Hinduism. Being Moksha means a person lets go from the main wishes and worries that they have (Noonan). Julius thanks Montag and gives him a book called the Tripitaka. Montag opens it and learns more about Buddhism, a type of religion, with many ways to deal with struggle. The Tripitaka holds special sayings of Buddhism (Reiss).

Uhm... okay!
Let me go with you!
Rising Action
Montag says, "thank you" and starts to make his way back to his ship. Just then, Julius starts to follow and asks if he can stay with him. Montag doesn't know what to say so he just agrees and lets him go with him. They then approach the ship and traveling to their next destination, the Pacific Ocean!
