Once upon a time, in a house in Buffalo Grove, lived three mice named Tiny, Miny, and Cheesy. 

Tiny was as yellow as cheese and as small as a pixel on a screen. Miny was gray and as big as a cube. Cheesy was white as a snowflake and as big as a snack box. 

Their mom told them to go to the kitchen and get some cheese and chess pieces. They wanted to have cheese soup and play with the chess pieces. But they saw all the cheese and cheese pieces strewn on the floor.

They picked all of them fast, and just then heard a cat meow and ran away. It was Kitty, the big gray cat!

Scared, Cheesy made a house of cheese to hide from the cat. They all hid inside the house. Kitty could smell the cheese house and came running. 

"Let me in. Your house looks delicious!" Kitty said.

"No, you will eat us and my house!" Cheesy said.

Kitty ignored him and began nibbling on the house. In a panic, they all ran outside.

"Your house is yummy! I will find you and your brothers, too, and I will eat you all," Kitty said.

This time, Tiny made a house of sticks. Kitty came in and knocked at the door. 

"Let me in. I have saved some cheese for you," Kitty said.

" No, we won't let you in," they yelled.

But Kitty knocked down the house and they all ran away!

Miny made a house out of silverware and thought it would be strong. But Kitty came and threw it around. 

They all ran away!

"Why did you make such a small house?" Tiny asked.

"Atleast, it's better than a cheese house", Miny said.

Miny said to Cheesy, "Why did you make a house so weak?"

Tiny replied, "At least, it is still better than a cheese house!"

"We should all run to mom. She will keep us safe," Miny said, and they all ran to mom. Their mom was waiting by a brick house.
