In a small town full of sunshine and trees, lived a little Black girl named Amara.

She loved painting, laughing with her grandma, and reading her Bible at bedtime.
But sometimes, deep in her heart, Amara had questions.
“Does God really hear me?” she wondered. “Is He really real?”
One rainy evening, Amara sat at her little desk with her pink notebook and a purple crayon.
She wrote a letter with care:
Dear God, if You are real, can You show me a sign? Just for me?

She folded the note gently and placed it under her pillow.
“Maybe You’ll read it tonight,” she whispered with a yawn.
That night, Amara dreamed of a bright golden light and soft angel voices singing.
In the morning, everything seemed the same. “No sign,” she said, looking out her window.
At school, her teacher read Psalm 139:14 — “You are fearfully and wonderfully made.”
Amara thought, “That’s beautiful… but was that for me?”
At recess, she sat under the old oak tree and noticed something shiny in the grass.
It was a silver heart-shaped charm with the word “Believe” on it.
She picked it up, and just then, a breeze blew softly, and the leaves swirled like a gentle dance.
A butterfly—sparkling blue and gold—landed on her hand and didn’t fly away.

Amara gasped. “Is this my sign?”
At home, she looked up at the sky and saw the clouds form a heart.
Then she heard a quiet voice in her heart say, “I see you, Amara. I love you.”
Tears filled her eyes—but they were happy ones.
She ran to her notebook and wrote,
Dear God, I believe now. Thank You for showing me You are real.
From that day on, Amara began noticing God’s signs everywhere.
In the smile of her grandma, the kindness of her teacher, and the colors of the sunset.
She still wrote to God—every week—with stories, questions, and lots of love.
And she always remembered:
God is real. He listens. And His signs are magical, just like His love.
