   George was bored, as he was at home 

doing nothing. His brother, Collin, loved the 

snow, and so did he, but on this particular 

day he did not feel tempted.

   He sighed as he watched the snow fall. Yes, it 

was a snow day and he got a break from 

school, which he always enjoyed, but again, he 

just had nothing to do. Even worse, Collin was 

pestering him about going outside and 

sledding, which was an activity he did not want 

to do.

   Here are some things he was frustrated 

about:

   "No television."

   "MOM--"

   "No."

   "C'mon, George, let's go make a snow--"

   "Baby!"

   When he finally overcame the boredom, they 

had to go shopping. For clothes!

   Finally, he decided it would be best to try out 

the snow.

   Except that...the snow was perfect! He went 

out, and made anything he could think of. 

Snowmen, snow forts, snowballs, snow igloos, 

anything. The next day, he hoped it would 

snow again so he could have more time to play.
