This is Dan. Dan loves to play basketball. One 

day Dan wants to play for the San Antonio 

Spurs. 

Dan went to the park one day and thought 

about how he could make his dream come 

true. Dan figured out what he needed to do. 

He needed to start eating healthy and training 

everyday.

The next day Dan went into his kitchen. When 

he walked into his kitchen he saw a lot of junk 

food. Dan remembered the things he needed 

to do to make his dream come true. Dan threw 

away all the junk food and went to the grocery 

store. 

Dan went to the grocery store and bought a lot 

of fruit and vegetables. Dan bought apples, 

carrots, and bananas.

When Dan got home he made himself a 

healthy shake. Dan also ate an apple.

After Dan had his healthy snack he went 

outside and trained. Dan ran and ran until his 

legs and feet couldn't take it anymore.
