Lionel Messi

Description: Messi is my favorite player of all 

time. He plays with Barcelona and with the 

National team of Argentina. He made his 

debut for Barcelona's first team in 2005 and in 

the year 2009, was award his first Ballon d'Or, 

as well as 2010, 2011, and 2012. He has 

broken many records, like top scorer in La 

Liga, top scorer in the Champions league, and 

many more. He is known to be the best player 

in the world and maybe even of all time. I like 

him because of his style of play, like his 

dribbling, how he makes good passes, and 

how he scores. 

Cristiano Ronaldo

Position: Forward

Club: Real Madrid

Country: Portugal

Description: Cristiano Ronaldo is an all 

around well player, with his height and and 

speed. He plays for Real Madrid and the 

National team of Portugal. He made his first 

professional debut for Sporting CP 2002, 

then went to Manchester United in 2003, 

where he won his first Ballon d'Or in 2008, 

and later in 2009 moved to Real madrid, 

where he has won 2 more Ballon d'Ors in 

2013 and 2014. He made his international 

debut for Portugal when he was 18. I like 

him because he is good to people off the 

pitch, he loves to help people out and how 

he does his skill moves. 

Ronaldinho

D.O.B:March 21, 1980

Position:Attacking Midfielder

Club: Querétaro

Country: Brazil

Description: Ronladinho to me, is a living legend. 

Watching him play as I was growing up, made me 

realize just how much fun and happiness soccer 

can bring. He won FIFA Player of the Year in both 

2005 and 2006. He was first time he was noticed 

by media was when he was 13 and his team won 

23-0, he scored all 23 goals. He plays with 

Querétaro and the National team of Brazil. I like 

him because he is always smiling no matter what, 

his skill moves are just the best, and how he plays 

like there is no tomorrow.  

Pele

D.O.B:October 12, 1940

Club: Santos

Country: Brazil

Description: Pele is known to everyone as one of 

the greatest, the best, the legend. He played for 

Santos for 18 years, scoring 

619 goals in 638 games. He was awarded world 

player of the Century in 1999 by the   IOC and in 

2013 received the Ballon d'Or in recognition of 

his success. I like Pele because of how he would 

score and be determined to score.

Zinedine Zidane

D.O.B:June 23, 1972

Position: Attacking Midfielder

Club: Real Madrid

Country: France

Description: Zidane is known for his elegance, 

vision and technique. He was named the best 

European footballer of the past 50 years.   He 

transferred from Juventus to Real Madrid in 

2001 and set a world record fee of an 

equivalent €75 million. He was awarded FIFA 

player of the year 3 times, and won the Ballon 

d'Or once. I like Zidane because of how he 

would be able to see the pitch and would be 

able to execute his passes. 

Ronaldo

Position: Striker

Club: Real Madrid

Country: Brazil 

Description: Ronaldo is known for his way of 

scoring goals and finishing. He is also known 

for playing with two of the biggest rivals in all 

of football, Barcelona and Real Madrid. He 

was named FIFA Player of the year 3 times 

and won the Ballon d'Or twice. He is the 

second highest goalscorer for Brazil. I like 

him because he is a clinical finisher. 

Thierry Henry

D.O.B:August 17, 1977

Position: Striker

Club: Arsenal 

Country: France

Description:Thierry Henry is known for being 

Arsenal's all time goal scorer and also for 

being apart of the Invincibles. He was named 

FIFA Player of the year twice and winning the 

World Cup in 1998. He was not particularly 

drawn to football as a youngster, but his 

father kept insisting him. I like Henry because 

of how he scores and his quote, "I eat 

football. I sleep football. I breath football. I'm 

not mad, I am just passionate."

David Beckham

D.O.B:May 2, 1975 

Position:Midfielder 

Club: Manchester United 

Country: England

Description: David Beckham is know for going 

from one of the mos hated, or hated, player in 

all of England, to being the most loved in all of 

England, after scoring the free kick against 

Greece to push England past the qualifying 

rounds. He was runner-up twice for FIFA's Bet 

player of the Year and was named in the FIFA 

100 list of the world's greatest living players. I 

like Beckham because of his great passing, 

his long shots, and how he takes his free 

kicks. 

Ricardo Kaka

D.O.B:April 22, 1982

Position:Attacking Midfielder 

Club: Orlando City

Country: Brazil

Description: Kaka is mostly known for 

his times at AC Milan and his 

humanitarian work. In 2003 he moved 

to AC Milan and in 2007, won both the 

FIFA   Player of the Year and Ballon 

d'Or.He was the first sportsperson to 

amass 10 million followers on Twitter. I 

like Kaka because of how warm 

hearted he is to people, his passing, 

and his good sportsmanship. 

Sergio Ramos

D.O.B:March 30, 1986

Position:Defender

Club: Real Madrid

Country: Spain

Description: Sergio Ramos is mostly known for 

being good in the air and also being an aggressive 

tackler. He started in Sevilla's youth system and 

then went on to stay with Real Madrid. He was a 

part of the Spain National team, in 2010 where 

they won the World Cup. He is also   one of La 

Liga's top scorers from a defensive position. I like 

Ramos because he is not scared to battle for the 

ball and can also score goals as a defender.  

Andres Iniesta

D.O.B:May 11, 1984

Position:Midfielder 

Club: Barcelona

Country: Spain

Description: Iniesta started out in Barcelona's 

youth academy and worked his way up to 

start for the first team when he was 18. He 

was the hero for Spain in the 2010 World 

Cup, where he scored the winning goal in 

extra time against the Netherlands. In 2010, 

Iniesta was runner-up for the Ballon d'Or. I like 

Iniesta because of how he creates passes 

and is the play maker. 

Thomas Muller

D.O.B:September 13, 1989 

Position:Forward

Club: Bayern Munich

Country: Germany

Description: Thomas Muller is known for his 

positioning, team work, and stamina. He has 

scored 10 goals last two World Cups he 

played in 2010 and 2014. I like Muller 

because of how he doesn't need all these 

skill moves to get pass defenders. 

Hugo Sanchez

D.O.B:July 11, 1958

Position:Striker

Club: Real Madrid

Country: Mexico

Description: Hugo Sanchez is known as 

the best Mexican player ever. His first club 

was UNAM, and then later went on to play 

with Atletico Madrid and then Real Madrid. 

He won two Ballon d'Ors, in 1987 and 

1990.I like Hugo because of how he scores 

hard and beautiful goals.

Roberto Carlos

D.O.B:April 10, 1973

Position:Left-back

Club: Real Madrid 

Country: Brazil

Description:Roberto Carlos is known 

for his bending free kicks, stamina, 

running speed, technical skills,and 

crossing ability.He was runner-up in 

the FIFA Player of the Year, in 

1997. He was apart of the Brazil 

team in 2002, which won the World 

Cup that year. I like Roberto Carlos 

because of how beautiful he takes 

his free kicks. 

Diego Maradona

D.O.B:October 30, 1960

Position:Attacking Midfielder

Club: Barcelona

Country: Argentina

Description:Diego Maradona is in the list for the 

20 best players in the world. He was the first 

player in Barcelona ever, to be applauded by their 

rival, Real Madrid. He is most famous for the 

"Hand of God", which was when he scored a goal 

with his hand and the referee didn't call it. He won 

the world cup in 1986 with Argentina, against 

West Germany. I like Maradona because of how 

he would be agile and quick with the ball. 

Iker Casillas

D.O.B:May 20,1981

Position:Goalkeeper

Club: Real Madrid

Country: Spain 

Description: Iker Casillas is know for 

being loyal to Real Madrid and being one 

of the best goalkeepers of all time. He 

won IFFHS World's Best Goalkeeper for 

five consecutive years. He was in the 

Spain team in 2010, which won the World 

Cup. I like Iker because of how he saves 

some of the hardest shots.
