Authors note.
Dear Readers,
If you want this story to make sense, you should read
the first book. Annabelle's discoveries #1. I would really
like it if you gave me comments, it helps me know if I'm
really writing good stuff.
Sincerely,
Marisa

Annabelle was stumped. For real. She couldn't figure out
how she could show people her power with out getting
famous. The thing she really didn't want was fame. Like
Lincoln. He was famous. And he got murdered. Not her.
No sir. She was not going to get murdered. She thought
and thought, but could come up with nothing. Nothing at
all. Not one single thing. Then she thought about
something. Why did she want attention? It was because
she wanted to show off. She had to admit that much.
Then, she thought of a positive way she could show
people her power, helping others. That was always a
positive thing. But how could she help others while using
her powers? That was the mystery.

Annabelle was sitting at the breakfast table. She decided
to have a little fun. "Timmy, why are you thinking about
going to Jack's house, it's only Saturday, and you're
going on Wednesday? She asked. She was touching the
same breakfast table as him. Timmy looked up. "How
you know I think that?" Timmy asked suspiciously.
Annabelle smiled and shrugged. He was only four. An
easy victim.

Annabelle was walking home from a play date with
Lilac and Chloe. It had been a lot of fun. They had
played Sorry mostly. When Annabelle got home she
skipped up the stairs. She shared shared a room with
Timmy, so when she got into her room Timmy was
there. But something else was there too. A big
machine. "Look what I made!" said Timmy proudly.
"What is that?" Annabelle asked. "It's a time
machine!" answered Timmy. "Seriously? she asked.
"No kitting." Timmy said. "Well, what are you waiting
for, let's travel somewhere!" Annabelle shouted. "Let's
do this!" shouted Timmy, jumping into one of the
seats.

Annabelle saw a white package, not very big,
that Timmy was holding. She was going to ask what
it was, but she decided to ask once they were on
their way. Annabelle was about to jump in, her foot
slipped, and banged on the petal. The machine roared
to life, and shot out of the window. Annabelle raced
down the stairs, and out the back door, that was her
brother! She ran after the machine, just then, it
slammed in to a tree, and fell into the lake. "Timmy!"
was all Annabelle could say. Tears were making it
hard to see. When she got to the lake, she looked
down to the bottom. There, it was a big shadow, the
time machine.

She looked for any bubbles coming up, but there were
none. She considered going in. She put her pointer
finger in. Freezing! She would die from cold before she
got to her brother. She waited there a little while. Then,
something occurred to her. Timmy was dead!!!!!!!!!!!
She cried and cried until her mother came out looking
for Timmy and her. Then, her mother saw the shadow
at the bottom of the lake, and Annabelle's expression.
Her face turned as white as snow. "Timmy." she
whispered. Annabelle nodded.
