Hello! I’m Julie Benkoski, a 9-12th science teacher at Greensboro County High School in Greensboro, Georgia. Chemistry, Physics, and Biology are my specialties. I have completed eight years teaching science at the high school level, and it has definitely been an exciting and sometimes unpredictable journey. My long-term goal is to complete the Educational Specialist degree program so I can transition into teaching and training in the corporate/military world after retirement.

My family farm, Big Sandy Creek Dairy Farm, in Madison, GA, partners with Discover Dairy as Georgia’s Adopt A Cow host farm, serving K–12 students across Georgia. Through this free virtual program, students and teachers receive lesson plans and engaging activities while “adopting” a calf. The window to sign up is OPEN!!
