The rain pounded on the glass windows, the trees rustled and the door creaked. A man stepped out the front door with squeaky brown boots, and a blue raincoat. He hopped on his motorcycle, and drove all the way to a place called Hillshey Shack. He slammed his car door, and checked his phone. It showed a text from a woman named Anna. "Meet me at 9:00 pm in the Hillshey Shack. The man nodded, and opened the door of the restaurant. He looked around. People were everywhere, but only
one person stood out to him, and she was clinking her glass cup filled with wine. The man walked over to her, and tapped her shoulder, then he sat down. Anna looked happy to see him.
"Hi!" she said, "I was about to leave." The man nodded.
"Ya, sorry 'bout that, jus'," he looked up at her and smiled. "jus' um, work." Anna nodded. The waiter came over, and they ordered. The man paid, and Anna thanked him for coming. Then, they walked out the door. The man waited, his hand clutching the door handle until Anna
was out of sight. Then, he jumped onto his motorcycle, and rode away into the night. The rain beat down harder now, and he noticed a lady in a yellow rain coat walking on the sidewalk. She looked sad, and wet. The man rode over to her, and asked her if she wanted a ride home. She nodded, hopped on, and they were off. It was already 11:00 when the man dropped the lady off. So he headed home. When he got to his house, he sighed and got off of his motorcycle. But something fell on the ground. The man noticed the lady's rain coat. He remembered her house, and
was about to go, when he decided not to, and would go the next morning. He crawled in under his covers, and fell asleep.
In the morning, he woke up to the sound of birds, and his memories came rushing back to him. He hopped onto his motorcycle, and grabbed the lady's rain coat. The sound of the engine scared the birds out of the way from his driveway, and he drove, all the way to the lady's house. He left his motorcycle parked by the door, and knocked. The door was answered by a different woman then the other one. He suspected it was her daughter.
"Hi!" he said. "Uh, your-your daughter I think left this the night I helped her, um just last night actually, when I drove her home to this house." he babbled. The woman looked surprised.
"I'm sorry sir, but my daughter died three years ago in a motorcycle accident. Then, she closed the door.

On the edge of a cliff, there lived a woman. She loved the color yellow, and there was a choker around her neck that she NEVER took off. She was engaged to a boy named Matthew, and she herself was named Ariana. He ALWAYS asked her why she NEVER took her choker off, and she always said, "I'll tell you later." but she never ever did. Finally, he came to her house, and they had a private talk.
"Ariana, this has been a huge problem, you always say 'I'll tell you later'
whenever I ask you why you never take that choker off," he said, and his eyes looked like he was satisfied with their little conversation so far. Ariana just looked out the window, and a breeze knocked her hair out of her face. She was silent, because he hadn't asked her a question, so what was she supposed to say? But Matthew knew that. "Look, I know you don't want to tell me, but I want to know. So, can I have my way?" now that was a question, so she turned, and stared into his green eyes. She smiled, and then laughed. Matthew looked con
"Why are you laughing? I just asked you a simple question that I've been-"
"No." she said, interrupting him. He turned and looked at her. And she stared back at the view. Then, she breathed in, and sighed. Finally, "I'll tell you right before I die," she said. And she got up. That was enough for her, her high heels clip-clopped clip-clopped on the wooden floor. Matthew stammered, "But-but, Ariana, what if you die instantly, and I never know?" Then, she turned her head, and stared at him with such a mad look, it hurt.
