I’m SO happy it’s finally out! I think this might actually be my favorite Petersons book so far. I had so much fun writing all the Christmas chaos, especially Zoe and Nellie’s crazy plans and Operation Catch Santa.

But I’ll always have to stay loyal to The Cruise because it’s the original! I came up with that idea about a year before I actually published it, and it took me a long time to finally turn the Petersons into a real book series.

So… The Not-So-Merry Christmas might be my favorite, but The Cruise will always be the OG.

This is SO hard because I love all of them for different reasons! But I think Lana might be my favorite. She’s funny, cool, a little mysterious, and I loved giving her more of a story in this book.

But Zoe and Nellie definitely owned this one. This was basically their book with the Snow Sisters, Mr. Sparkles, and the entire Operation Catch Santa disaster. And honestly, John was hilarious too, especially with the whole Fake Santa situation.

I seriously can’t pick just one!

Definitely Nellie! I knew she was going to be in the book, but I didn’t expect her and Zoe to become such a huge duo. The Snow Sisters ended up being one of my favorite parts of the entire story!

I also loved giving Lana and John more moments and letting some of the characters who didn’t shine as much in The Cruise have their chance. That’s something I want to keep doing—every Petersons book might focus more on different characters!

YESSSS! The Petersons are definitely not done yet!

The next big book is officially called The Adventures of the Petersons: The Big Surprise. I’m not going to tell you what the “big surprise” is yet because… well… then it wouldn’t be a surprise!

But before that, I’m also starting Petersons Short Stories! These will be shorter adventures that happen between the main books and give different characters their own time to shine.

And the first short story is going to be about Lana’s birthday!

So yes… there is a LOT more Peterson chaos coming.
